@@jameshalleluyah8133 Clearly not a political motive behind the movie. My father used to beat my mother in front of me. Men like this demonize themselves.
A devoted father who's stalked by a deranged cop trying to move in on his ex-wife and replace him as the new daddy. (Because he can't get his own goddamn family)
A part of me has always felt a bit sorry for Mr Crisp. His mother treated him like crap, and he was trying his best to please her and gain her approval. I reckon she had a major influence on him psychologically, which turned him into a monster. However, that doesn't detract from the fact that he still had a choice with his actions, and that he could've chosen to turn his back on living a criminal life and start afresh with a "crisp" start (excuse the pun lol).
Yeah, listen to the way she treats the hair stylist at 1:08. This speaks volumes about the kind of person she is - which in turn tells us quite a bit about the son she raised.
As a kid I’d watched the ‘now how can you argue with that’ line dozens of times and with a straight face. After years of not seeing this movie, upon revisiting it I cracked up at that line. Yeah, as you get older you prefer subtle humour more and more.
2:55 I remember my friend and I watched this one day with his kid and he made a joke about the guy being on a skateboard, can't take this dream scene seriously since that 😂
I mean, the actor probably was standing on a dolly or some other wheeled conveyance, because that would almost certainly be the easiest way to achieve the visual effect of him sliding into view.
2:10 : The way Crisp acts and when he said to Dominic/Crisp Jr that he's a firefighter and Rachel's mistrust of cops makes me think that Crisp pulled out the same "I'm someting I'm not" card on Rachel by saying that he's a cop and will do everything to protect her.
I wonder how difficult the scene with Crisp and Dominic was to film. Where crisp tells him he's his father. What kind of preparation is taken to prepare the kid? Because his reaction looks almost legitimate, idk maybe it was just good acting. Richard Tyson (Crisp) made the scene work real well though, I cannot imagine how he must have felt even as an actor the idea of kidnapping a child and presenting a danger to them couldn't be an easy part to play.
4:10 Okay, deal! Kids are fickle, finding something(s) they'd love even more than that car track for 4x its value would be easy. Not to mention it doesn't end with you getting kneed then your head smashed into a truck door to boot....
If you watch here th-cam.com/video/O5KvtrFgg0k/w-d-xo.html at this part of the clip. Listen to when the sound of the gun he fires goes off and look who its pointing at. Could have ended way different.

see she made him who he is she has what you cal Muchhausen fancy word for she made him sick for attention and she was gonna do the same to the boy if she got her hands on him thats the one time in the Crisp seems like a normal father don't let hat fool you though
It's hard to imagine anyone else playing the role of Crisp. He nailed the role from start to finish. One of my favorite Arnold movies.
He sure did, so sinister and cruel yet suave and cool.
I can't imagine anyone else playing Crisp either
Kindergarten Cop is such an underrated Movie. A fantastic Story and brilliantly acted. Also, the Soundtrack is awesome
I'm surprised Richard Tyson never became a bigger star. Good Actor with good looks.
The Realest Lebomba he is always working so he is doing okay.
I hate Google+ good for him. Seemed like a cool guy.
The Realest Lebomba it's because everytime he was up for a role, the studio remebered that they already had a Kurt Russell
@@popeye697 More like a Val Kilmer.
He got arrested this morning for 3rd degree burglary, he also has charges to public intoxication and harassment. He's not doing that well...
If you want to be a good villain the first step is a ponytail. He kinda reminds me of the guy from karate kid 3
Mr. Terry Silver
The guy from karate kid 3 ?? Put some respect on his name next time you speak. His name is Terry Silver. COBRA KAI. NEVER DIE !!
He was perfectly cast as Crisp. He would had made a good Joker.
HA😑😍
Agree
Nah, I get more of a Black Mask and Two-Face/Harvey Dent vibe.
Joker or Harvey Dent
@@CharlesEdmonds-lz7sc Joker.
“Put the cigar our, it’s unhealthy for the kid!” But a gun isn’t apparently lol
And all that medicine she bought🙄
Kindergarten cop is the story of a devoted father who will stop at nothing to see his child.
The demonizing of fathers and their struggle against a system which ignores and rejects them.
@Robert Griffin who u???lmao

Which is why Kimble should have insulted krisp mom in front of him

"Your not so tough without your car are ya"
I love Richard Tyson, his character of CULLEN CRISP inspired me to have my lucky ponytail
2:02 I can't hear this line without thinking of those prank calls using Arnold's voice. 🤣
I don't know what my daddy does. This a switch board at da Gator Lodge.
Richard Tyson was Buddy Revell in Three O'Clock High
One of the best villians

True I kind of wish Kimble was more like Dirty Harry
Eleanor crisp has to be the only person to have the lady parts to tell their hairdresser they don't like their haircut
She was a real Gilf back then.
Bet Kimble assaulted her in the past
I mistaken him as Val Kilmer when I was young...does anybody else did??
Right? people say Channing Tatum but I see Val
I totally used to think it was Val Kilmer until one day I said it out loud and my dad got a chuckle and told me who that was
Its so weird seeing Buddy Revel acting like such a momma's boy. Richard Tyson REALLY cemented the silent bad boy touch freak psycho image in my mind.
5:40 it looks like he lost his pony tail but its on his shoulder
I thought that was Channing Tatum with long hair
Yeah Channing Tatum. Richard Tyson was in a Red Shoe Diaries.
Ha😍😑
More like Val Kilmer
I actually used think that was Bill Murray with long hair LOL !
Channing Tatum was 10 years old back in 1990
This movie is pretty ultimate abridged like this, works better than most movies would cut to ten minutes.
I laugh every time he beats up the guy for that lame slot race car track
😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣
Me as well
Why didn’t Kimble best krisp up
i wish kimble had beaten elenor up

Kindergarten Cop was Ivan Rietman’s 1st movie that was pretty much a drama.
Not to mention that it had to play second fiddle to Ghostbusters.
Best part of the movie is the pharmacy scene they both crazy. A covid- lesson 🙄😳😒

4:40 to 4:45 best part of the whole damn movie. LMFAO!!!!

Great scene at the truck, nice 😁👍
I only know Richard Tyson from this film and "Two Moon Junction". I wonder what else he did?
He played a cop in a Ben Stiller movie, Something about Mary i am pretty sure it was. Interrogating. Ben Stiller's character.
He was a stripclub owner in the movie kingpin, and he played a soldier Daniel busch in the movie black hawk down.
Buddy Revell in 3 o’clock high
Me, I saw that movie 😏😍
5:04 is the best scene in the whole movie.
Channing Tatum days of future past
It's strange to see Buddy Revell showing emotion.
5:04 antivaxxers vs rational people.

So Channing Tatum time traveled.

I wish I had parents like this
another Psychopathic trait he set the entire school on fire not caring about the life of his son or the lives of the other kids
Why didn’t Kimble do the same?
