Typically, when you go to the doctor for abdominal pain, you’ll get a diagnosis, and tips on how to manage the symptoms. They don’t usually give you a lot of information on how to fix the root cause.
Nothing I say is meant to diagnose or replace your medical care. I want to give you information that you can think about regarding the potential root problem of your abdominal pain.
A few lesser-known things that can lead to abdominal pain are:
    1. Low hydrochloric acid
    2. A bile deficiency
    3. A problem with the pancreas
    4. A lack of enzymes
    5. A lack of friendly bacteria
    Other common abdominal pain causes:
    • Food allergies
    • An intolerance to certain foods
    • Sensitivities to certain foods
    • Enzyme inhibitors
    • Antinutrients
    • Inflammatory foods
    • Synthetic fibers
However, the three main root causes of abdominal pain are:
    1. Frequent eating
    2. Grains and seed oils in your diet
    3. Antibiotics and other medications
The best things to do for abdominal pain:
    In the upper right quadrant:
    • Take TUDCA on an empty stomach
    • Take bile salts with meals
    In the upper-middle quadrant:
    • Take betaine hydrochloride (unless you have an ulcer)
    In the upper left quadrant:
    • Consume more raw foods
    • Take an enzyme
    • Decrease insulin
In the mid quadrant (for SIBO):
    • Consume more garlic
    • Consume more oregano
    • Do intermittent fasting
In the mid-left quadrant (for kidney stones):
    • Drink lemon water
    • Drink at least 2.5 liters of fluid a day
    In the lower quadrants:
    • Consume fermented foods or a probiotic supplement
    • Eliminate dairy (for the prostate, uterus, or ovaries)

I've also had the problem with feeling bloated all the time..my weight was 190 pounds when I should weigh between 155 and 160..so I went on a 20 day fast and lost 20 pounds.
Now I feel so much better..my goal is to eventually lose 10 more pounds and get down to 160.

For five years, I suffered from intense pain in my lower right abdomen. My doctor subjected me to a ton of testing, but was not willing to look at diet. After conducting my own diet tracking and elimination, I determined that coffee was causing the intense pain and diarrhea. I think that coffee is accepted as a normal part of our diet, but can have an intense impact on our digestive system including inflammation. I eliminated coffee, and all of my symptoms went away. I appreciate Dr. Bergs perspective and perhaps non-Western approach.

Thank you for explaining how our digestive system works Dr Berg. Throughout my life I have been to a doctor and also taken family. I feel it's a rushed consultation, the patient wants to find out more info, wants to know how to incorporate their usual diet to deal with symptoms or help at least. Some doctors will explain what's happening with your body, it's something your mind can't envisage in that limited time. The doctors should offer an education session like this to all their patients, it will eliminate half the mental anxiety. We have to prompt them to ask about food and natural supplements, exercise, etc.

The other lady ask what it does. The other lady answered by saying it’s suppose to help you feel better. (Bloating/abdominal pain) I honestly wouldn’t take the medicine. I would look for other alternatives. In my case Dr. Eric has broken down my mistakes in my eating habits with his videos. Your timing is impeccable with this video! I was just in the ER again on Friday with unbearable upper right quadrant pain (this is the third time in the last few years and it was the worst episode to date). They diagnosed me with biliary dyskinesia and sent me home without any info on how to get better. Just take Tylenol and follow up with your primary care. So frustrating. I've been following you for a long time and have been trying to reverse my autoimmune issues and heal my NAFLD (which my primary care doctor shrugged off as 'normal', BTW) with healthy keto and IF (started back in March). I also have MTHFR and am recovering from DRESS which is making my recovery pretty tough. Since I started following your advice, I've lost 50 lbs and my health is slowly turning around. You have opened my eyes to so many things. I can not express my gratitude enough. Thank you so much for your hard work. You are saving our lives! ❤️🌎🤗

Dr. Berg - I AM desperate for any help you can offer. After just turning 46 yrs old, and dealing with chronic constipation for several years. On top of Gallbladder and Appendix had been removed years prior with infection.
Was diagnosed with Ulcers, Duadeum Stricture, with 8 balloon stretches, until the surgeon tore my Duadial area.
Nov. 2020 - I couldn’t keep anything down, turned grey, and vomited over and over until my daughters called 911 to take me NOW! Thank God they did, as I had a twisted colon, and spend 1 day getting every constipation meds they could shove up and down me.
After about the 5th enema, sitting on toilet with nothing happening.. I was alone praying for help! All of a sudden something changed, and I felt my stomach change quickly!! I pulled the cord, and said, to the nurse, Im dying!!!!!! I knew it! She was going to leave and ignore me, until a higher power told her to stay, thank God she listened! Next thing I remember was being in the hallway, flying down the hall with a anesthesia pulling a main line in my juggler/ throat. I begged him to put me out, BEGGED!! As 18 employees stood around waiting to intubate me, etc, He said “baby I am”.. Two days I woke in ICU, intubated, half my teeth broken out, my stomach opened. High as HELL on Ketamine, Morphine, etc. stomach opened, to try and wash out the sepsis that went thru my body. Two days later, was in for second surgery - since they had taken 20 CMs of Colon, and washing cavity for sepsis. Went back in, they took another 10 CMS. Of Colon out, more warm wash… and stitched the colon back.. but left belly open:
All the time, being intubated and crazy out of my mind medicated (thank Goodness).. i only had a 2 percent chance of pulling through.
I only did, by the grace of Jesus!
I have spent the last 2.5 years with 5-6 surgeries for more corrections. My stomach looks like ground beef.. i no longer have a belly button, My stomach is all off center, all to the right, severe pain daily, chronic constipation, cant stand looking at myself. This is after a repair of a 10x20 mesh hernia, basically my e Sepsis caused my hair to fall out 60 days after the trauma.
Ive been a single mom for years, I was very pretty, even modeled. Now, I wont leave my home. I had a job working remotely at home, but in Oct. they wanted everyone back: in office, which I couldnt do, so they canned me. Im now facing daily physical pain, cant find a remote job, have nobody to talk to and dont k acing daily physical pain, cant find a remote job, have nobody to talk to and dont know how to move forward, even if I want to. Which I dont much anymore, but do for my kids sake. Please give me any ideas of where to begin!?
Thank you, and appreciate your channel and info. Nichole.
