而馬仔, 在廣東話中另一個意思就是解手下,
以前的江湖人物, 在外出時都會帶上一兩個手下,
因為手下不重要, 所以在跟其他人介紹時,
往往連名字也不會提到, 就簡單講 : 呢個係我馬仔.
漸漸人們便用這開玩笑說,: 呢個係你嘅馬仔, 咁另一個呢? 蛋散呀?
