      a bit out of pocket but could you do a tutorial one day covering the AI radio commands? - Duvstep

      Looking forward to a full review. Are you planning to keep the Warthog for the upcoming F15 in BMS?

      Nice review. I have a question about the cursor axis. Are they correct ? It came up in the forum sometimes and someone says streching the thumb is cursor up and bending is cursor down. So this is different to your showing. Are you shure this is correct ? Thank you for your time..

      @AviationPlus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@badericGer When the throttle is in the MIL position the cursor is in the correct orientation. Up will move the cursor forward and aft will move the cursor left. This is how it should be set up in. Noticing that in the video there was some ambiguity on directions.
      Cursor Up moves forward
      Cursor Down moves aft
      Cursor Forward moves right
      Cursor Aft moves left

      I started with the Saitek X52 then the Warthog and now I have the Viper. I just about only fly the F-16 so it made sense for me to get this.

    Hey brother thank you, i just bought this one and was having some buyers remorse. I have the warthog throttle and stick and we hoping it was a good switch.

      If you fly the F16 majority of the time. This is a great switch from the Warthog.

    Did you have to manually individually assign each of the buttons to the throttle and stick? My Cougar HOTAS does not show any bindings to them at all…is there not some pre-made F-16 stick profile somewhere that you can just load everything in all at once? Thanks😊

      You must map everything. It's always good to know what your buttons are, being that you map them yourself.

    There is a button for the dogfight swith center, you need to open the tqs driver and enable virtual buttons

      I have done that now it works but not as intuitive as I'd thought. When I push the buttons on the throttle in the launcher it does not jump to the button control line.
      Using the release function works just fine.

    Picked this game up today, it is my first flight sim apart from the new "Nuclear Option", I was so excited but for some reason, my throttle doesn't work, it's an entry level Thrustmaster T16000m. The game recognizes the throttle but there is no response when I move it up and down, no response from the whole throttle device. It works in another game though! Any suggestions?

    • @AviationPlus
      @AviationPlus  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Make sure it's not mapped to another button

    I cannot see BMS Full in keyassing page? I only see F 16 and F 15 profiles. How can I add BMS Full?

      The new update removed the key assign the F-15 and F-16 are full key assign now.

    I'm having an issue where my Idle cutoff button is not being recognize so I always start off with my throttle in the idle position.
    The Viper TQS uses button 18 as the throttle cutoff button, but I cannot get BMS to recognize it. I do not have idle detent selected for the throttle axis. I do have throttle dent/cutoff selected in the BMS configuration option. My button assignments are as follows:
    TQS:CUTOFF RELEASE - Idle Detent - Idle DX18 Release
    TQS:CUTOFF RELASE - Idle Detent - Off DX:18
    I start the mission with the Viper TQS throttle in the Idle cutoff position which should have the throttle in the Idle Detent Off position, but when I enter the cockpit, before starting the engine, the throttle is in the Idle position.
    When I go into key mapping, I do not have the option in the Profile drop down window to select "BMS -Auto" nor in the Category dropdown window is there an option to select "HOSTAS THROTTLE" as is shown in your the video. I’m using the latest version BMS 4.37.

      @AviationPlus  4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      You must start in ramp to have the throttles in off when you start. If you start taxi your engine will be running.

      @@AviationPlus I figured out the solution and a bug on the configuration page.
      On BMS configuration page there is an option in the Hardware section called "Idle Cutoff" and the description states that checking this box enables the OFF-IDLE throttle position. The description is incorrect. Checking this box disables the OFF-IDLE throttle position.
      My throttle idle cutoff now works. Thanks for the help.
