  • FINASTERIDE EXPOSED: THE SHOCKING TRUTH BEHIND ITS SIDE EFFECTS!
    If you are considering taking Finasteride, it's important to be aware of the potential side effects associated with it. Some of the possible side effects include decreased libido, decreased ejaculate, and the inability to maintain an erection. Naturally, these side effects can be concerning for any man, and it's understandable that no one wants to deal with them.
    However, it's essential to approach the information available on the Internet about Finasteride's permanent side effects with caution. There are claims suggesting that this medication can somehow alter a person's DNA, leading to permanent impotence. While such assertions exist online, it's crucial to note that I have not personally encountered any credible firsthand accounts supporting these claims.
    Nevertheless, it's worth acknowledging that the Internet can be a source of dubious and unreliable information, including regarding medication side effects. It is advisable to consult a healthcare professional for accurate and personalized information regarding Finasteride and its potential side effects.

I decided to treat my hair with higher quality of shampoos and decided to not wash my hair daily. At the same time I used finasteride (1mg per day tablet) and I think about 20% of the hair came back and also it really prevented my hairloss to be worse. I didn’t get my full had of hair back, that I had when I was a teenager, but it really did help a lot! Now 7 years later my hair still is good. Just got prescribed fin after lots of hesitation over side effects and what not, but my dr I've seen for over 12 years said he used to hate prescribing it to men for genetic type hair loss because he thought the sides outweighed the pros of it, but he's switched up on it now because he's only had a few rare cases of erectile dysfunction and it was a pretty easy fix with cialis. He said some guy's have said they feel a bit down when first taking it, but depression from hairloss is definitely real, if you're a guy that wants to keep his hair. 1 thing that is important though that alot of guys ignore for obvious reasons is a prostate check every few years because it gets enlarged and increases your chance of aggressive prostate cancer. But if you dive deep in to side effects of most medications for anything... you would probably be worried about them aswell

    The information on this is so conflicting, I literally just left a video that says fin can potential raise your test levels because less test is being converted, and what does everyone say about higher test , higher libido, stronger erections and feeling better, so in the cases of the people who experience these side effects with fin what’s going on?

    • @LNM101
      @LNM101 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Its actually BECAUSE you get more T: The more free T you have, the risk of a higher amount of that T being turned into estrogen through the aromatase enzyme, which would have usually been turned into dht, can cause these side effects. It explains why only ~2% of people even get sides, while others actually report higher libido and so on, because the fee T isn’t converted. After some time of continuous use a lot of side effects go away for a lot of people because the body regulates the hormones again. Don’t be scared of fin, it wouldn’t be fda approved if it wasn’t safe.

    • @johnmorgan7989
      @johnmorgan7989 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Yeah it does raise your T because some of the T that would get converted to DHT doesn't any more. BUT DHT does really good shit that Test doesn't do and most of them are sexual. Trust me if you take fin you WILL GET SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS. For some guys they'll be low, some terrible but there is no way on Gods Green earth that your sexual prowess wont suffer to some degree unless you aren't human and your body doesn't use DHT.

    • @AlbinoJesus
      @AlbinoJesus 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Theres no confliction, finasteride can potentially raise the amount of free testosterone in circulation by anywhere from 10-20%, that testosterone however is aromatized as estrogens and can result in the sexual symptoms like decreased total ejaculate and difficulty gaining or maintaining erection.

    It’s actually very simple: you deprive the brain and body and specifically genitals rich in 5-AR tissues when DHT is the most dopaminergic and potent androgen in the body. You cause upregulation of dopamine autoreceptors increasing inhibition of proper dopamine signalling which therefore has massive downstream effects, of which the body alone usually cannot correct by itself because it was manipulated by a drug that has a near 100% effective mechanism of action, as seen in the catalytic event of irreversibility of binding to the 5-AR enzyme. Again, I am not against this medication per se BUT people need to know ALL of the risks. My dad was a very carefree, extroverted affable fellow who made friends wherever he went. After starting this medication, he became anxious, panic stricken with escalations that were very debilitating for all of us. He had no health issues, no history of mental health problems, no substance use whatsoever. We were totally baffled until my sister did a deep dive into this medicine and found so much information about the link to anxiety and that the anxiety doesn’t stop once the medication is stopped. Just awful.

Started taking dutasteride (0.5mg every other day) about one year ago, I had shedding for the first months and then i had more hair density, but miniaturization still occurred. After 6 months and a doctors revision, I started taking dutasteride daily because of miniaturization still ocurring and some hair falling (prescribed, not selfmedicated). It will be one year since I first started on dutasteride next week, and for the last month or a little bit more, I´ve had Erectile Disfunction problems, I even feel like i´ve lost a bit of longitude in my penis; and I now never get morning erections or unintentional erections that would always occur before.

      Finasteride treatment impairs biosynthesis and function of neurosteroids, which are critical regulators of central (CNS) as well as peripheral nervous system functions and modulate a host of neurotransmitter receptors, such as gamma amino butyric acid receptors. Thus, finasteride-induced neuroendocrine disruption of biosynthesis of critical signaling molecules results in pathophysiological states, which contribute to inhibition of biochemical pathways responsible for a host of physiological functions, ranging from sexual activity, mood, and cognition. In addition, finasteride-induced epigenetic changes in gene expression, including upregulation of androgen receptors (AR), increased histone acetylation, and methylation results in undesirable biological outcomes such as impairment of dopaminergic signaling and modulation of other neurotransmitter receptors, may be the underlying mechanism causing persistent or permanent adverse effects, manifested in anxiety, depression, and suicidal ideation.

      @acedup00 I stopped the finasteride over 2 years ago. I only started taking the k2-d3 vitamins a just over a month ago. They come in a gel capsule because they're an oil, the k2 comes from animal fat. Any brand is fine, it's pretty common, I just bought a bottle from the pharmacy. For my hair loss I'm taking NAC, hydrolyzed collagen and saw palmetto. It's working heaps better than finasteride ever did. Got the same gains in one month that took 2 years on finasteride.

    • @NoName-vx6up

      I believe it's 0.2 at .5 ml. This equals to 1mg of the pill. You can use slightly more for the 1.25mg. I just top it up with a combo of topical dut/ru.

    I was experiencing the side effects mentioned when taking finasteride (24 year old male good health) and they got increasingly worse after around a year of taking them, does anyone know the next best solution other than a transplant? The results from fin were amazing but the sexual side effects were too bad in my personal experience

    • @kingdingaling8709
      @kingdingaling8709 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Not yet and I did a lot of research as I couldn’t take the fin either. I wouldn’t do a hair transplant yet as hair loss pattern won’t be settled and you will end up needing more transplants. Also it’s not recommended to get one if you can’t take fin indefinitely. Miniaturisation of the old follicle will create issues and it will look very poor

      I'm really sorry to hear about the challenging experience you had with finasteride, and I appreciate your honesty in sharing your journey. Hair loss treatments can affect people differently, and it's crucial to be aware of the potential side effects and individual variations.
      Experiencing a significant increase in hair shedding can be distressing and alarming, and I understand why you would advise caution to others. It's essential for anyone considering hair loss treatments like finasteride to consult with a healthcare provider and thoroughly discuss potential side effects and risks.
      While finasteride has been effective for some in slowing down hair loss and even promoting hair regrowth, it's not suitable for everyone, and individual responses can vary. It's always a good idea to explore different treatment options, consult with a healthcare professional, and make informed decisions based on your unique situation and tolerance for potential side effects.
      Thank you for sharing your experience, as it can help others make more informed choices when it comes to managing hair loss.

    Does topical finasteride have side affects as well !?

    • @WilliamGaunitzTrichologist

      Thanks for reaching out with your question! In our video "FINASTERIDE EXPOSED: THE SHOCKING TRUTH BEHIND ITS SIDE EFFECTS!", we mainly discuss the side effects of oral Finasteride. However, topical Finasteride can also have side effects, though they are generally less severe compared to the oral form. This is because the topical version minimizes systemic absorption, reducing the risk of side effects like sexual dysfunction or mood changes. However, individual reactions can vary, so it's important to consult with a healthcare provider before starting any new treatment.

      Saw palmetto, a natural DHT blocker, is generally well-tolerated but can have some side effects. These may include mild gastrointestinal issues, dizziness, and headaches. Unlike finasteride, saw palmetto is less likely to cause sexual side effects. However, it's essential to consult with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement to ensure it's suitable for you and won't interfere with your plans for having children.
