It's wealthy Republicans in gated communities, while it's the poor White Republicans, too stupid to vote their own interests, who are afraid of "certain parts of town." I literally laugh in their faces, and at their shock, when I tell them I go to or through those neighborhoods any time of night or day, sometimes walking, and am entirely comfortable. Never been bothered. Meanwhile, the only people who have ever talked shit to me in public were all White, whether it was about my skin tone, or being gay, or wearing my pentacle necklace (I'm a Wiccan Elder Priest). Black people just ignore me, or sometimes compliment my hair. Stop being such a prudy dudy.

As a teen (way back...) I once accompanied my grandfather to mass in this little church and it was in Latin! And it lasted forever!
