What if u don't have Nvidia graphics card
In that case I would try SnapCam. Can't guarantee how well it'll work, but there's tutorials on how to use it on this channel. It has a green screen filter that you can chroma key out in OBS

Why my obs is getting crashed when ever i am using this virtual greenscreen..dont know what is the problem.. btw my gpu is rtx 2060
I gave up. I cannot find the Virtual Greenscreen on the Stream FX site.
i did everything as you shown but when i got do virtual greenscreen, nothing happens. my webcam just stays the same. no effects

No, it uses the AI Tensor cores on the RTX card, the 1660 Super card does not have these.

you do NOT need stream FX to make this work. i just downloaded the NVIDIA file into OBS and it worked

There are ways to do it on Mac. I have videos on this subject with ways that will work on Mac. In fact this may be the only method that doesn’t.

Try Prism Live Studio. it has a virtual green screen built into the prism cam. I have videos on it.

It is not however FreeFX is a free fork with many of the same features. Other fratures now have been recreated in stand alone plugins by other creators.

If you have a Nvidia RTX 2060 or above.. just use NVIDIA Broadcast.. Its completely the Same and you just need one thing to Install.. Dont need StreamFX or those SDK things.
And it has some More differen Functions..
I love the rest of your Tutorials and Tipps. .but why choose a so "different" way when you just could show Nvdia Broadcast app ?`
both things uses CPU usage.. so .. doenst really care then.. (for my its just 1%)

Possibly.
It does not. The system requirements for the NVidia components, says RTX20xx or better. They require the AI components on the RTX cards, which are not avaialble on the GTX 1660.

I found a problem in StreamFX nowadays:
"We had to remove binaries and source code due to a contributor submitting code that was not licensed under the GPLv2 "or later" license or any compatible license. While we were able to adjust the source code contained in the repository to exclude these license violations, we can't guarantee that binaries will be available again."
Is there any other way to do all the staff in the video without first installation (or we can change it with some other)? Thanks

Hey I'm having an issue getting the "Virtual Greenscreen" option to appear in OBS. Is this out of date for the newest version of OBS? I tried reinstalling all four files, and restarting several times. Any advice?

It works great but causes me to lose 50 fps in the game I’m playing. Guess it’s back to the old way you posted before.
2 frames of delay at 30 fps is 67 ms, not 2 ms.

Is it normal that it does not save the filter setting when I close OBS? Everytime I open OBS I have to delete and reapply the filter for the virtual greenscreen for it to work.

You are doing a great job to help Window users, but what about us Mac users where do we get technical help for OBS?
I recommended this method to a new streamer, and I tried it as well. It works great the first time, but then as soon as OBS is closed and restarted (so next day as an example) The filter just isn't there anymore. We have to set it up again to make it work. Obviously this is not desireable. Anyone know the possible cause of this?
