Adpocalypse, blaming creators for getting sued by the Federal Trade Commission, constantly changing the U.I. for no reason, not defending creators when they try to appeal with Fair Use, removing the dislike counter, etc.
90% of the things mentioned in the video are not "improvements" intended for the customer, but for the companies bank accounts

That's something that completely altered the way I consume music, I used to have both Apple Music and Spotify installed, as well as my own library, I religiously bought one cd each month as soon as I got paid for 16 years or so. When I bought my iPhone 7 it came with those stupid lightning earpods that nobody likes or the optional, horrible, 3.5mm to lightning converter. I cancelled both subscriptions and deleted the music from my phone, and stopped buying music altogether, nowadays I barely listen to any music and when I do, I do it on my 15 y/o fifth generation iPod.

I never got people getting upset over this. You can still use wired headphones. You can still use wired headphones while charging. The only functionality that was lost was the ease of using the same headphones for your phone as you use for other things

They are functional monopolies that you MUST use to interact with corporations, or each other. Honestly I’m thinking if TikTok keeps upping its video time it will have a very serious threat to TH-cam since it lets you do things like dislike videos, and not be demonetized for your little bro blaring Disney music for a millisecond in your video. When Instagram was still in chronological order I opened the app, seconds ago Billie Joe Armstrong had posted that Green Day will be playing at a pub that was around the corner of where my friends & I were at the time. (This was in Sydney, Australia) We were able to get to the pub within minutes & saw Green Day play an intimate pub show for free. They’re my all time favourite band. One of the best nights & had Instagram not been in chronological order I wouldn’t have seen the post Billie made in time. Stopped using the app when it changed.

The worst thing about the algorithm based update to instagram is that now after the newest update instead of the things you interact with bringing up more content from the creators whose content you are interacting with it now gives you related post from other creators. So now not only are you not seeing posts until days later you may never see them at all because your feed is full of recommended content from other people. I don't want f*cking similar content I want to see the content from the person I followed for the express purpose of seeing their stuff

Wendy's was awesome before they changed in 2010. Before 2010 the burgers were bigger and better and even the fries were awesome. When they changed in 2010 the old fries were changed to Natural Cut with sea salt (which were ok) but the burgers tasted weird. I notice on the burger the meat patty was smaller and wasn't hanging out of the bun and had mayo on it instead of mustard and the bun was different. The old bun was yellowish and had corndust on it. The new buns was plain looking and had butter or something on it and was toasted. The bun even made the Spicy Chicken sandwich taste weird. It wasn't an improvement whatsoever. Probably changed everything to lower quality because of the state of the economy back then

For those dealing with the gas can issue. To fix this, just remove the spring inside the nozzle.
Some of them wont work if you do that. I have one, the spring applies tension in two directions, remove the spring, and you can push the nozzle down to open the line, but the internal piece that stops the flow, wont pivot to allow gas out of the can
My other gas can, i spill more gas than i get into the tank when i use the nozzle, because the safety device leaks from around the edges. Brought it back, replaced with a new one, that one did the same. Rinse repeat three more times, before deciding its intentional design.
I just use a funnel and take the nozzles off now.
Unless you can’t find a funnel you can actually use by yourself as they’re all basically designed to require being held as though you can magically work said garbage gas cans and hold the funnel at the same time. Makes a 1 person job a 2 person job plus again spills more gas than ever. Even on safety they’re no good as tests show these new cans are actually more dangerous and flammable than old but because of lawyers and lawsuits the main companies that made the old useful cans are crippled or dead/defunct
Do we even have to mention the reformulation of Coke? No. I didn't think so.

Yeah Idk about that one chief. IPhone 7 was one of the first without headphone jack. It is in no way water proof.
I HATE how everything is becoming a social network. Instead of fixing the existing bugs in our ticketing system at work, the out of touch boomers in corporate decided to add social features instead which caused more bugs and made it even slower. We now have "like" and "follow" buttons, options to upload avatars and personal quotes, and can add coworkers as "friends". We handle IT TICKETS. We don't need to "like" a request for a failed hard drive, we need a system that works so we can fucking fix it. Next up- "Please watch this ad to unlock work order creation!" Goddamn it pisses me off so much.

Also the chargers they do have being comically short like under a foot. You don’t realize how limiting it is until you have a charger from a 3rd party long enough to say charge your phone in the bathroom or so you can roll to the other side of the bed and be charging.

Then the idiot network hired an idiot consulting firm called Q5. Without doing any market research whatsoever they changed the show, making it more about Slimer, adding a kid Ghostbuster team, and bascially completely changing Janine in both appearance and personality. They changed her glasses because "sharp points can scare children". They wanted to completely get rid of Ray and they made Winston be nothing but the driver.
The stories and ghosts went from genuine creepy and well written to goofy dumbed down low rent crap and the show suffered for it.
All because some asshat suit executive decided great wasn't good enough.
I may not have all the information, but how is “sharp points may scare children” a legitimate reason in Ghostbusters?!
Ragnarok Online: Renewal, it was supposed to rebalance all the gameplay to avoid broken builds and insane damage, then they released a bunch of third jobs that can solo any mvp by spamming F1, then they added a ton, a literal ton, of microtransactions that include p2w equipment, and a ton of cosmetics. It killed parties in the game, nowadays everyone plays solo. Killing parties does by extension kill guilds as well. Nowadays Ragnarok Online, a game that was all about community, is a nest of solo levelers.
How about the Disney streaming service... As long as we are talking about Hulu. You like can’t get the episode list like on Netflix. You click on something and it just starts playing. You have to like start playing the show and then like go out to the episodes list if you want it. I’m not describing this right, it’s been months since I’ve used it because the Mandalorian is between seasons but it’s definitely convoluted and un-intuitive...

5:55 this so much. I live at home and don’t drive but none of us have a sense of direction so I have to use my phone for the GPS cause spectrum will give me a deal on unlimited but not dad who was the customer first and brought me to them. Because I’m not the kind of person who can do anything without my phone I can’t even do anything that has sound like games because that’ll come out CarPlay instead of the directions and or stop the regular radio going. The 1 thing I can usually try(FB) is a problem when I go into articles for this exact reason. Annoying regularly but then it also messes with the radio/directions and I feel ghost rider multiplied by the punisher levels of sheer flaming rage at this few seconds interruption. 10:52 it’s so you have another opportunity to be limited unless you spend money to bypass it. Also helps the whale spenders as it’s a huge advantage to any game you can attack others in and train troops. 15:37 useful at theme parks here in FL when you can’t quite find your car in the mega lots of say Disney where it’s up to over half a mile or more from any given park.
Whoever thought putting the twine on the weed wacker on the bottom instead of near the top where you can release it by hand with a push of a button the logic is that when you need more line you hit the bottom against the ground while running it which will push a button that’ll release the twine, instead it just comes out uncontrollably to the point I end up having to dismantle it and reset the twine by hand making a job that took 5 minutes take 20 min

Robocraft implementing skills, respawn, making it moba-like, and some other changes... Basically a game that went straight from winning awards and indie game of the year to somewhat empty servers. Still a good game though, just not the best as it was before.
the only good thing that came after i quit the first time was the 3v3 deathmatch, but that the progress was so slow because of the random drops, that i stopped caring and forgot the game
i bought premium in a f2p game for the first time because robocraft was the perfect game for me, next month it wasn't perfect anymore, and them i never spent money in f2p games again, when they get worse i just move on with no sunken cost
Android google chrome. The newest update has changed the tabs to be grid with small buttons. Previously it was stack like cards and it was so easy to swipe away to close window

Apple Google chrome’s picture setting has changed randomly quite a few times from not seeing the outside white border to swipe stuff up and disjointed going to the next picture and then days later back to the original etc etc it’s really odd.
the first Gen Wii's had the built in Game cube which was asome and Like with the ps3's who lost their built in ps2's it sucks but the one "update" that I hate and ruined a product THE GOD DAMN FORD MUSTANG MACH E! that's not a Mustang it's a got damn SUV it has no reason to bear the name Mustang at all. I am STILL angry about my PS3 losing my ability to play PS2 games. Now I just have to play them on an emulator on my laptop and it is horrible quality.
A 10 minute cutscene now lags and stammers through for 45. Yeah, I'm not playing anything Square Enix on that. Okami was bad enough waiting for an hour through that opening cutscene and I didn't even get to start the game.

@@KristofferEk I'm not rebuying a console I don't have room for. Why can't I just tell the PS3 to play the dang disks?? No wonder Klonoa 2 eventually kept crashing halfway through the game near the end of the 3's emulation lifespan.

@@devforfun5618 Well ye, but in this case the assumption of crying scares away the wolf in the first place. Meaning that people won't try to steal cars if they know it's gonna make noise.
So the reason you ignore the alarm is because people extremely rarely try to steal cars with alarms, which means car alarms do their job. I'd assume that's true for most security measures as well: if it works then people won't try to risk getting caught, so eventually you end up with more false-positives than true positives.
You could argue that it's too sensitive, I really don't know about that. Maybe if they were lss sensitive then they sometimes wouldn't activate when they need to.

From what I understand that was part of a push to try to make tumblr more family friendly to court ad sponsors to try to monetize it like FB or IG but the pushback was so loud it didn’t really happen yet left the uniqueness of the site obliterated all because of greedy corporate suits in offices who know nothing
why youtube and twitch are my favorite social media platforms: pay to not see ads. fuck sponsored posts shown to me by facebook and twitter.
