he had a whole 10 years unconscious with a wife and two kids when in reality he was out cold for maybe a few minutes, he had to get therapy for it afterwards.
Oh frick yeah, that one was really something. To have lived a full, vivid, absolutely convincingly real life... His description of the lamp just looking off, then fake, then everything looking fake, intrusive thoughts saying this isn't real, the world warping and melting away like a psychedelic trip... Before coming to and realising who you really were all along. That has to be one of the most traumatic things. Grieving your whole family, not even having made one for real yet. Frickfrickfrick

It was an r/askreddit, "What is something you use to believe as a child?" One post stated that they used to believe that the Dairy Queen and the Burger King were actual monarchs that ruled over a kingdom of fast food. But it got better, people start adding lore to the kingdom. The BK DQ Op then adds edit: "The far off kingdom of Innoute (In-N-Out) rules the Burger King and Dairy Queen. They have dominion over the fry folk. Their edicts are tempered by their wise vizier and court magician, Jacque of the Box. Their daughter, princess Wendy is said to be as beautiful as Innoute... the royal guard commanded by the noble Colonel Sanders" it's really good.
As a reddit user I'll never forget the poop knive. So many posts ralated to it, the discovery that is not only 1 person that uses it, the guy that mentioned it in a interview for a job on reddit, and couldn't stoo talking about the poop knife nor stop mimicking the action. Legendary.

For me it’s a post on r/nosleep where some guy described a time travel experience where he was the only one who made it out not dead or catatonic, but he did still have lasting damage from feeling like he lived a few thousand years in a time travel machine that only sent him 3 hours into the future

I think there was one on r/ama where this lady had some memory problem where every night her memory would reset back to 2014 where she had some bad accident. It was really sad, but if I remember right she was extremely positive. I wonder how she's holding up with everything going on.

For me it was this dnd nat 1 story post that featured in Mr ripper's channel. It had to do with an Adventurer hired to kill some goblins, he gets to the goblin leader who readied a sneak attack but nat 1s and miss. The adventurer makes his counter attacks but he nat 1 his attack and misses. They goblin attacks against but gets his sword stuck in the wall of the cave, the Adventurer attacks but also nat 1 and gets their sword stuck. They try to pull it out but both fail their strength checks and couldn't pull them out and resort to beating each other with their fist. They both nat 1 their attack rolls and miss each other. Finally the Adventurer said, "pack your stuff and leave, I'll tell the people who hired me that I killed you. And we both agree, this never happened." The goblin agreed.
I remember mr noodle, it was from a question where people who stayed in a hotel what was your weird experience, and this mr noodle was suppose to wash his hands but was washing his feet, elbow, legs and faces but not hands after 4 or 5 tries, a man from across the hall says "Not again Mr noodle or god dammit mr noodles"

So... I tracked down the Noisy Gobshite story and all TEN updates...plus... HOLY CRAP!!! Super funny... until it wasn't. Gut punch really undersells the turn it takes. It's not a "bad" gut punch like if the OP became the villain, but didn't make me cry any less... even still, it's WORTH the read.

I was looking at pictures of dead people on reddit and there was this one photo of a man who had his head cut up into bits from a machine. The first comment I saw said 'I like ya cut g' and I couldn't stop laughing. I could actually imagine my sister doing this and accidentally pushing the dude into the machine. My sister even came in, saw the picture and the comment, and then fell over laughing. It even happened with my mom a later while after that too. We have some seriously dark humor.
