i hate people who treat mental illnesses like collectables, especially when they self-diagnose and then act like their issues give them clout.

I’ve been afraid to even THINK about if I have social anxiety or depression, because I don’t want to be one of those self diagnosing people. Now that I think about it, worrying about thinking about my mental state lest I become annoying to everybody around me doesn’t really NOT sound like a socially anxious thing to do...
Crap, I thought about it again and now I’m worried

I cannot say i was depressed because i never visited a psychologist but i really felt bad for a long time until i finally vented in front of my parents and that made me feel a lot better. I don't really know anyone with depression in real life (or at least i don't know if any of my friends or family has it) but i know it is hard to deal with and faking it is like mocking the people who actually has problems...

@@aye6173 there are thousands of people on tik tok faking mental illness, some simply don't know enough about the illness and self diagnose while others will fake purely for attention. Not only does it give these mental illnesses a bad reputation but the people who do it most likely have an actual problem they are hiding by pretending they have another problem.

A guy in my school died in 2008 and everybody acted like they knew him and started crying, acting sad and dramatic even people that didn't know him or made fun of him. It legitimately is the very reason I hate people who chase the spotlight constantly and need attention 24/7. Some of these people are now drug addicts or homeless. 2 things that people do that piss me off are 1. People who glorify, wear like a badge of honor, or in any other way brag or spin as a positive thing any type of mental illness/ base there entire personality around a mental illness whether they have an actual diagnosis or not. Particularly the people who claim to be crippled by anxiety and unable to complete the most basic of tasks because "talking to people gives me big anxiety and I can't cope! Aren't I so quirky unique and funny? Lol!" All this does is trivialize the condition when regular people claim every slightly awkward situation or situational nervousness is a crippling anxiety attack. (I do not have an anxiety disorder for those wondering I just find it annoying that everyone under the sun seems to think that they do.) 2. People who are proud of being petty. To add to that people who think everything is a slight against them and that they must get sweeping revenge against the person who wronged them in some obscure way that was actually just a misunderstanding. Then when the vengeance seeker is confronted after taking revenge far greater than should have been warranted they just laugh and think they did nothing wrong. Basically the whole concept of people thinking they are always right and justified in everything they do because they believe they can't ever do anything wrong.

One thing that always disturbs me is people filming at concerts.
I get the principle of "remembering this moment" so maybe you record 20-30 seconds if less of the entire show. But the people who pays to see artists that they like, and when this artist is close to them, even talking to them, they have their phone between them and the artist. I find it firstly very rude, but also very artificial, why would you care about what you can post later or watch later on your phone when the person is right there, you will have that opportunity maybe one time on your life to talk to this person. I don't know I feel like you waste a important moment and also you make it feel like you don't actually like this person, but more the attention this person brings.
Everytime I see that, I always feel bad for the celebrities

Anyway, since his IG page has the word 'Invest' in it, now I'm getting all kinds of "hustle hustle hustle, no parties, no freinds, wake up at 4am, exercise and hustle hustle hustle" posts on my homepage. All I can think of is 'cutting out your whole freind group and going so far as to isolate yourself so you can focus on getting money seems like a really depressing way to live. Young kids are excited about a game (fortnite, minecraft, undertale, fnaf) all these things were seen as cringe.
Kids expressed joy and creative abilities and full grown adults laughed at them.
I used to make jokes about fortnite being bad but it was never directed at the kids or people who enjoyed it. It was more because the game had pushed payed content so much to get vulnerable kids upset if it was gone the next day.
I still see people mocking sans fangirls (Kids likely developing one of their first crushes and starting to learn about the feelings they experience.) This harassment lead to a couple sans fangirls having lots of issues

Literally hating shows based on how they ended.
In other words, if the show's ending didn't line up with your prediction it's the worst show ever and the entire show is 'meaningless' and watching it was a 'complete waste of time'
How I Met Your Mother, Game of Thrones, Sopranos, Twin Peaks: the return... all got trashed because of how they ended. For some the damage was great (former two), for other's not that much (latter two), but nevertheless the way that the audience can turn on a show so suddenly and visciously does not speak well for the future when it comes to making great works of art.

Half the time, they weren’t even acquainted and and it was all just an act to get time out of school. We were a smaller school but sadly we had many deaths during my time there. Mostly driving related or the occasional hunting accident or the ever rarer cancer case. Regardless, the way people acted was disgusting. But when it is something completely random and unimportant why do you have spam message or spam call? I haven't gotten a voice message from a missed call in so long. It's there for a reason, if it's not urgent, i'm not there, and you still have the time to do this why not just leave a freaking message so i can get back to you later already knowing the subject? It gets even more annoying when they call people around you because they think they are more likely to answer.
