It feels so good to see you ride in all beautiful places all alone. It jus makes me wanna hop on my motorcycle and hit the road... Thank you so much for making videos like this!
4:01 Silly boy, you left your camera behind! Actually, I had to make a 90-mile trip in similar conditions last week, sun low in the sky and continually in my eyes, creeping through the gap between visor and "A" pillar, then flickering behind the trees and reflecting off everything in sight, the road, the other cars, even my car's bonnet. Horrible. I was so much happier when the Sun went down and I could just see everything properly. Of course, it was dark by then...
Matt, another triumphantly stunning film, I love the variety of camera angles you choose, my particular favourite is bar end looking at rider, used sparingly as you do, it gives a real feeling of being in the moment. There are broadcasters *cough* Henry Cole *cough* who could learn a thing or two from watching your films. And you took me to the Trough of Bowland and memories of cycling all over it when I was a student in Lancaster, before I discovered the joys of adding a motor to my two wheels, thank you, I must head north when Spring comes and revisit some of my old haunts. I'll put it on the 2023 bucket list along with persuading you and Freddie Dobbs to run the very occasional "Ride with the creator" Motocamping weekends. Thank you for again for taking me out on your bike, in a beautiful part of the world, and giving me a break from hacking across London on a slightly to frequent for my expanding waistline Bike Shed Breakfast trip.
Thanks Alex, the bar end mirror view is probably my favourite angle too, I've seen some other channels try to do the same thing but as far as I can tell no-one's figured out exactly how to do it yet :D I'd love to meet both Henry Cole and Freddie Dobbs; in an ideal world I'd have them both in a Motorcycle Folk Tales video, though I think the chances of that happening are fairly small. But you never know, they're both on my list to reach out to this year anyway. Obviously I can't speak for Dobbs, but I at least will be doing some ride outs this year, not so much a 'ride with the creator' thing as I don't think I'm that special, but I'll definitely be doing a 'if you want to join me for a ride' sort of thing. You're lucky to have spent so much time riding around the Trough of Bowland, I've only been a few times so still finding new spots, but it's becoming a favourite. And as for London, the Bike Shed looks pretty awesome, I've never been so I suppose I should make the pilgrimage one day.
I never tire of your excellent videos. I liked the bloopers at the end, after all we are just human and we all make mistakes. Lol. I like how you also include the sound of the bike accelerating. It's part of the experience imo.
Hello Mat, first of all, I wish you a very happy new year, also to all your followers. beautiful video, as always... you have us accustomed to excellence. A big hug and a good year to all. Remember that I use a translator, it may not be possible to understand me. sorry.
Get you, Matt, and your fancy night-time videography! A delight to see something new so early in the year, when I know conditions haven't been great. At least days are getting longer, again, and maybe the rain will soon stop.
Yet again I found myself totally immersed in the video and it seemed to be over in a couple of minutes. The way you film them makes me feel/think it's me on the bike, or maybe wishing! I did a bit of sitting yesterday, Speed Twin, T120 and RE interceptor all next to each other. T120 felt like shaking hands with an old friend. 🤗 Great video again Matt.
Glad you liked it Jeremy, and I'm glad that you felt like the video put you in the riders seat. It's a conscious decision to make the videos less about me and more about the ride, so I'm happy that it seems to be working. For me, videos that you can escape into for a few minutes are the ones I like best, so that's what I try to do with mine.
Just what I needed to make me look forward to bringing my Honda CB1100RS out of hibernation, hopefully in the not too distant future. Great video, beautiful photography, music and scenery. Looking forward to more this year.
Hi Matt, happy new year. Congratulations on your new video. As always, you have created an incredible atmosphere with those landscapes and the perfect music. Thank you very much for making us enjoy your routes. Greetings from Valencia
Happy New Year Matt. You simply produce beautiful videos that are a joy to watch ! What a place to sit and have a cup of tea. Best wishes for 2023 and will look forward to many more to come. Cheers Dan
Oh no the drone 😮 did similar a couple years ago. Turned my crash sensors off only time and same hit something and it dropped in a river :( never to be found again
Couldn’t miss the only dry day all week, I see you ventured out too, I’ll have to try that cafe you ended up at, looks nice. Your bag is on its way so hopefully won’t be too long 🤞
Absolutely brilliant video, sorry I’m playing catch up iv not long found your channel I love it,I love the lights you have on the crash bars very smart,do you find the bikini screens helps much it looks cool and I love the tank rack I want one for my t120 ,thanks for sharing mate 👍
Glad you like the videos Roy, a map wouldn’t really suit the style of video, but the particular area is usually mentioned in the description so folk can always Google map the location.
Happy New Year David 🎉. You don’t need my pipes, there are some listed on eBay UK right now, both sides listed separately, you could get them both for less than £400!
Hahaha damn, did your drone survive or was it a total? 😂🙈 absolutely love these videos! The relaxed feel was just what i needed now 👏🏻🔥 can’t wait for new season here in Norway.
Somehow it’s still working after being under water for over a minute. The front sensors are toast, but otherwise it seems fine 😁. Can’t wait for it to warm up here too, the cold I don’t mind, but the constant rain is horrible.
Amazingly it seems to still be working, the front sensors are knackered and the battery is fried, but it takes off and records, so looks ok-ish. Was under water for over a minute until I fished it out, so super happy it’s working at all 💪
What I like about your vids is that you let the bike & journey do the talking.
I talk when it’s needed, when it’s not, I don’t 😁
Again a great and relaxing video. England is a very beautiful country, I really enjoyed my road trip there.
Thanks Sandro, glad you got to experience a bit of the UK on your trip, hope you liked it!
Well that’s my therapy for the end of a stressful day, marvellous 😊 thank you

Once.againt some amazingly beautiful footage. Love the bloopers at the end. 🤣

Another lovely video. That stream looks like a stunning place to relax with a coffee. Ride safe.
Thanks Al, it's just a car parking area, most people just park up and walk off missing that it's actually a really nice spot.
Amazing cinematic scenes 😍
Thank you as always 🙏
Another great video my friend!
Congratulations on the work you do.
Thanks Julio 🙏
There's nothing quite like that sun light bouncing between the trees and on to your ride, beautifully shot man :)
Thanks dude, the best bit about winter is those early crisp sunsets. Looking forward to more videos from you soon!
Can't wait to hit the road after this great vid.
Congrats
Thanks, the sooner you get there the better!

Thanks Pete, I’ll certainly try!

Thanks Greg, I’m always trying a couple of new things in each video, some more obvious than others, so glad to hear you liked the bloopers 😁

We can live in hope that the rain stops anyway 😁. Have to admit that the GoPro’s aren’t great in the dark, but I like a challenge so…
@@ClassicRides As always, I appreciate the ambition to try something new....
Amazing video Matt.
Your videos are pure energy. They are an inspiration to me..
Thank you for your time.
So glad you liked it Petr! 🙏

I’m averaging one drone a year at the moment 😁 totally my fault this time though. Surprisingly it seems to still be working…
Just extremely well done , time and time again. I applaud your skills.
Thank you so much 🙏
Великолепные видео снимаете ) Так снимать это большой труд.

Good to hear that you like the videos. I wouldn’t say the screen makes a huge difference to be honest, it just looks cool more than anything 😁
love the videos maybe a idea to put a map at the end so we can try as well just a thought

well , you know how to pick your spots ;;
It’s just a car park to be fair, most people park up and walk off, but I think it’s quite a nice spot in it’s own right.
