Beautiful job! We have an even smaller half bathroom off of our guest bedroom. I love everything you’ve done here, including colors and am saving your video for reference. Thank you!
I wasn't to sure about mixing the metal colors but it turned out great! You had other accents to match the metal colors so it actually worked! Great job! Love the tile floor you chose, I think it'll be timeless!
Great job! You are very talented and the grey is gorgeous! Not keen on the shower curtain. Just paint the shower trim a nice oiled bronze. I can't wait to watch the indepth vids on building the vanity, walls, etc.
My husband & I are redoing our powder bathroom, first time by ourselves. We don’t have the carpentry skills & tools like you both have, but you’ve inspired us to take on the challenge & create a beautiful space…and call a professional when need. 😊 Excellent work on your bathroom!
Thank you, I love to hear that you are redoing your powder room - take your time and you will do just fine and you will get better and more confident as you go!
Thanks so much for sharing! We've been thinking on how to cover our ceiling and ugly tiles without using those tile stickers. Your video really helps!!
You guys did a great job! Beautiful work creating that vanity. It's gorgeous. ❤ I have a small bathroom that I'm looking to update, and this gave me a couple of ideas. Thanks! ❤
Beautiful makeover! I am going to be doing a makeover in our only bathroom soon and this gives me some ideas to keep in mind for that. Thank you! I am newly subscribed.
@@mybestideas1 materials are very inflated right now, plywood alone is going for $40+ a board. Depending on the quality of paint they bought they could have spent $300 alone on a paint, primer and good brushes.
Hello, we stumbled on your video! Phenomenal job on the redo! How did you remove the threshold? We have a tile threshold and concerned we may crack it. Thank you
it looks way more modern! i love it! i think instead of the shower rod i would have painted the silver shower frame like a black or brass so that way it keeps room looking a little bigger. but it looks so clean and fresh with all the changes you’ve made 😍

OMGG I really like the outcome of your bathroom !! Definitely a huge upgrade, altought I'm not a 100% sold on the shower curtain. Since it's not going to get wet, I think you could have use a prettier one. Maybe in a more natural fabric like a white washed linen or something. I think it would look more high end, since you could iron it and not have wrinkled like the one you currently have 😊

Would love to know the colors behind you. Especially that door!!!! That color is stunning!!!!! We are going to be working on our home this year and that style speaks to me so much!!!!!!
Great job. I'd remove that showers glass & chrome. Leave the tile & shower floor pan. I think you'd like it a lot better. LOVE the new shower curtain idea though. ~Samantha
It looks amazing!! Great job. This is my first (but not my last) time here. I’m impressed with you and your hubs skills. I have those pink power screwdrivers too, so you’ve given me some hope !! 🤣😍
Spray painting the chrome black and replacing the shower hardware black would make the shower look updated you can re finish the tile bright white with a kit from a hardware store ( they work great.
I didn’t know you could tile over tile. What does being on the ground floor mean in terms of being able to tile over tile? I’m in a 2nd floor condo and I hate the tile (Tuscan) that came with this place. It looks dirty and feels gritty. I really have no idea how to remove tile, so I was excited to see that tiling over tile was possible. But should I not do this because I have a unit below me, for some reason? Thanks
This isn't my personal style but it is a beautiful room and I'm so impressed you were able to do so much with $1,400! Off to check out your other videos :)
Thanks! Yes it would have been a labor intensive process and the cost to replace it even with DIY would have put us over budget so we decided to keep it. We don't use this shower much either so we didn't want to put the money into redoing it!
Use LED bulbs for brighter lights if there isn't a window in the room. Would've helped you chose a gorgeous green color bc those were beautiful options. And overall for a brighter look in any room.
Love this makeover. You guys worked so hard. Where did you get your digital meadow flowers art printed ? I want to purchase the art but not sure the best place to get them printed.
The top half of the walls, ceiling and crown molding is Alabaster by Sherwin Williams in eggshell and the vertical ship lap and bottom trim is Mindful Gray by Sherwin Williams in eggshell.
What about spray painting the chrome matte black? I too have that ugly shower cage. Actually the end look turned out great. Unfortunately, I have a Tub next to mine so those rods wouldn't work in my space :(
The transition turned out really good, there is a slight difference but it is not noticeable. We also used an angled transition from wood to tile that helps.
So did you tile under the new toilet? Did you have any issue installing the toilet with the height difference with the floor being taller now? I'm thinking of doing this exact same project soon :)
We did tile under the new toilet to the flange. We found that the tiles were not thick enough to affect setting the new toilet in place. Thank you so much!

Greta job on the reno! Any problems with moisture on the ceiling and 1/4 plywood for the walls?
Thanks so much!! No issues with moisture on the ceilings and walls, great question.
You can also paint the shower to black to tie in with the mirror and won’t look closed out
Good idea, thanks!!
looks sooooo good!!! i really wanna go with mosaic tile too, but definitely NOT white grout, that is a nightmare to keep clean once it starts to stain

You could, I usually try to avoid spray painting indoors though but another product may work as well!
What stain did you use? Love the color!
Provincial by Minwax, it's one of my absolute favorites!! Thank you!
As for the vanity- you could have used an antique dresser or checked on FB Market Place or Craig’s List for a used one.
That is another option if you do not want to build one or you can find a nice piece to repurpose.
How did the transition piece come out? Do you notice the height increase in the doorway and did you angle the transition piece?
The transition turned out really good, there is a slight difference but it is not noticeable. We also used an angled transition from wood to tile that helps.
