How did you know what tools and materials to use? Part 2 of your kitchen renovation you used 3 different types of saws. Did you rent them or you already have them at the house? You've inspired me to do my own bathroom but I don't even know where to start. There are different types and dry wall thickness, which one should I use? I hope you know that you're nothing short of amazing! I know a lot of people (myself included) who do "makeovers" in their homes, but Glenda, this was more than a makeover, this was a renovation!!! A makeover is when you paint the walls, change the shower curtain and the decor, but when I saw you pulling out that toilet, and using the heavy duty tools, ripping the walls out to the studs...well, my jaw just dropped. You are fearless and hardworking and just an inspiration to anyone out there who is afraid to try things on their own. And in addition to all that, the results were stunning. I hope you are very proud of yourself, because the work you do is much more than most people would tackle on their own. Great job!!!

The one and only bathroom in our 1927 craftsman/farmhouse is an absolute "blow up job" (throw in a lighted stick of dynamite, blow it to pieces, clean up the fragments, and completely start over): any small room that has 5 different wall covering materials, and three layers of tub surrounds from decades of remuddling is beyond just a fresh coat of paint. You have given me great ideas on what we can to to restore our sad little bathroom so it's no longer an example of how bad things can look yet still function. Thanks for all of your videos and the techniques and ideas you share!!!!!

Gotta jump in quick. BR hanging cabinet. Could use ~1/4" thick x 2.5-3" wide lattice type board. Cut them to go around outside. Very inexpensive, quick Shaker-look and would have covered up the preprinted grooves.
