- this is my box with a side door. Its made from mahogany with handmade hinges and a turned walnut knob...its all turned...and the hinges are walnut too.

Cheers Albert......I made a male and female they were a tight fit so I was able to drill for some pins....then I rounded the edges for clearance....a lot of messing about.....thanks for watching 😀
@ultrawoody1968 I saw all of that. What did you use to make the male female cutout
I used a tenon saw and coping saw ....the old fashioned way....by hand...😀
That's brilliant Pal and the hinges are great! Where do you get your mahogany? Is it from old furniture? I got some from a friend and they sawed up their old sideboard lol 😃
Cheers Val I'm very sorry to say I bring it home from work or they burn it....do I have lots of oak mahogany and walnut...see if you can find a joinery works so you can pick over their scraps.....it all glues together 😀
