I can tell you watched Gagik's video from the No Road No Problem channel as well. I used the same exact drawers in my Harker build out as well as the mesh bags.
Awesome buildout! I'm looking to get a camper topper for my ZR2 in the future and have been gathering ideas on how to build out the interior. With that amount of battery and power you could try out induction cooking and an electric kettle/coffee maker. I'm looking to avoid carrying propane and would like to do electric for cooking and a portable diesel heater to bring along when needed.
The coffee maker is electric but I like using propane for cooking as we carry it as well for our firepit. Those electric induction cooking are highly inefficient for the amount of power they draw. I also have a diesel heater that works great!
Great buildout, thanks for the walk-thru. Did you go with the EDC top or the EXO top and how thick is your Hest(?) mattress. I have the EXO and using my backpacking inflatables as there is only 2” of space. But It fits in my standard 7’ garage as required by our HOA rules.
I got the dually queen. I did cut off about 3-4 inches (1.5-2 inches per side) so that way the tent material could fit in easier because the next size down I feel like we were losing too much potential mattress space.
@@outlandishoverland Gotcha, Yeah I was looking at using a hest dually long, but I agree that it is a bit narrow. I wish they made a 55" wide model and not just 50 or 60. The only upside I could think of the 50" dually long, is that there would be a small strip of space on each side for things like water bottles and phones. I am sure it was nerve wracking chopping up such an expensive mattress!
@@outlandishoverland One other thing I forgot to mention. I picked up an accessory for my EXO that you might find useful. Google the "Mamba III Aluminum Roof Top Tent Overhead Internal Organizer". It is a velcro based solution that you can use on the ceiling of the harker for storing stuff while in the bed area, including a spot for an ipad. Hope this helps, thanks for all the content!
@@brochilldude buy a 30” wide and a 25” wide Hest Foamy and you have a 55” wide mattress when you clip them together with the attached clips on the sides of the mattresses. That is my plan when we buy the EDC since we already have the Foamy’s.
Buddys gunna blow away in the wind
What?

Yeah those draws are sweet

Dream build right here !
Thank you!
That looks really awesome! Great job!
Thank you!

I have the EDC top and the Hest mattress is 3.9" thick.
Nice! Which model/size of the hest dually did you go with?

what do you use for AC on the very hot days
I tend to camp in areas that aren't hot. If it's summer you head north or up into the mountains, then you never have to worry about AC
@@outlandishoverland I get that for sure and normally do but I was just curious if you had an ac option u use or recommend.
Haven't found one yet I've liked
What was your complaint with the mattress from Harker Outdoors?
Just wasn't supporting enough. My wife has a bad shoulder and didnt work out for her
@@outlandishoverland gotcha, I'll probably skip their mattress now that I've seen you have no problem shutting that with the wider hest inside.
