    Thanks for showing your setup and rig. Looking at different truck campers. Love the annex can stay on and be stowed away.

    More space when the bed isn’t built out with bulky cabinets. Minimal setup - I like it 👍

    Good stuff Jake! I took my Harker out for it's maiden voyage to Arizona for some sunshine last week and enjoyed the heck out of it!

    The best camber I have ever seen, and it is what I decided to apply. Indeed, all the cambers I have seen do not interfere unless crawling or hanging your head is really uncomfortable. As for the camber, this is amazing and easy for the task. We wish you a happy life, creative person.

    I might have to bring mine in and have the canvas changed out to your newer tent material. I like how it seals up around the tailgate much better.

    It is a shame I don't have a truck.
    This setup is almost perfect for camping or bringing my fishing equipment to create memories with my son....

    Appreciate the simple presentation and clear info--not being in show condition is great, you use it and you show how, very helpful.

    A full height barn door opening would allow for no need for removal as well as had sided support for the annex.
    I need an annex like that on our 8' bed Tundra, would be TONS of room!

    Great walk through thanks. Will be ordering one for my tundra. Do you happen to know your EDCs total height with camper closed. I know this varies due to truck, but looking for an idea of height. Thanks.

    Good stuff, what was the tire size exactly? Not many 34's for 16" wheels so I am curious. Thanks

    my concern is bugs . How does it protect from bugs vs RTT? when you are in/out for fridge and supplies unless wait to set a tent at the end.will be nice to add netting that can be attached around camper down to floor, like even pull out fridge still close with netting behind a fridge. Netting needs to have with zipper in the middle.

      Its the same as getting in and out of any other tent luckily! Especially when comparing other campers like the go fast that require opening the entire tailgate and rear hatch, the EDC has a much less chance of letting bugs in.

    I just bought a 270 awning. I wonder if the extra space from this setup would interfere

    What configuration is your Tacoma, DCSB or DCLB?
    10:36 ok I see that you have the DCLB since you have more space between the cab and gas filler door.

    Insulated canvas? Or would that be an option?

    Hi. Is there a need for a stiff 1200 lbs leafpack when the max payload of that truck is barely 1100 lbs? I max out my payload at 1200 lbs and only needed helper springs to get a level ride.

    • @harkeroutdoors6191
      @harkeroutdoors6191  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Great question! On the long bed model the 1200lbs spring is actually only rated for 600lbs. I was just referring to the actual spring model.
      The camper fully loaded with camping equipment and a full size dirt bike on the back is around 600 lbs +.
      Additionally when driving without the dirt bike on the back the extra support helps with handling and high speed of road driving.
      The Old man Emu 600lbs kit was not enough support. (As they really only support 300lbs on the long bed)
      The Dobinson springs work perfectly.
      Here is a link to the Dobinson website if you’re interested.

      @@harkeroutdoors6191Clear enough. I must admit that my helper springs make the ride kind of harsh when unloaded on bumpy roads. And due to salt in winter conditions I won’t go the airbag route.

    How does it drive with all that weight?

    • @harkeroutdoors6191
      @harkeroutdoors6191  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Drives incredible! Its tuned so power isn’t an issue and with the Dobinson leaf pack it handles the 450-600lbs great. (600lbs with a dirt bike on the back)
