Well done Becky, great achievement! I love that you always leave your mistakes and failures in and don't gloss over how hard and how dangerous some of these trips can be, along with the high points.
Thank-you so much for sharing this journey, your resolve, determination and bravery has inspired me to go back to Iceland in the future and attempt something like this. No camera can fully capture the vistas and colour of this otherworldly place but you did an incredible job. I think you are totally right about stress and our way of life, we all need to get back our connection with the land for the sake of that inner peace, contentment and fire for the soul.
Wow Becks. I think it's underestimated just how energy sapping strong winds are, especially head & side winds. River crossings are a pet hate of mine & I'm sure you've gained more experience from this trip than maybe any other which will inform your decision making in the future. Those strong winds must have made you scared that if they destroyed your tent in such remote country it could have been disastrous. I'm so glad you made it & learned so much and were so fulfilled at the end. Well done mate !! xx

I just seen that your Sister is at base camp now and how much it’s overgrown. I still remember you making homemade apple pie. Please always love life and stay safe. Watching from Michigan, in the United States. 🙏🌹🌹🙏
Just watching Cape Wrath videos now, enjoying your banter, I will catch up with more of your content over time. Sweden, or Italy might be other trips to think about, did a tour de mont blanc this August and loved it after a terrible blow out on GR20. I have seen bits of other videos also. Just planning a lot now.
Your life experiences are so important for ones well being and spread to all how watch your travels. If there is an afterlife, I would wish to travel like you
