Thanks for this, I always wondered what it would be like to see my car brand new back in the day. The original owner didn’t option the larger brakes on the rear of my car but they optioned the active aero lip. Unfortunately who ever owned it after the original owner and previous to me removed it to put the VeilSide kit on the car.
Yeah that active aero lip is a cool novelty but they get scrapped in favor of front mounts or different body kits as you stated. Was wondering to myself when he showed it, if it would be possible to do a v mount cooling setup to retain the retracting lip
Please make an episode on the different Altezza model's. Like the. TRD ,Z tuned.,and RS200. Your Grand Tourismo music takes me back to my never-endining love for cars .And countless hours of Grand Tourismo. I have an IS300 now and love it.I always had all the different models of the Altezza / IS200 Is300. Cars in my garage. I appreciate your informative channel and content, every episode is 🔥.Would love to learn about my car's roots.✌Thanks
Man, checking this one once again almost a year after you loaded it up makes me really want to see more of these gems. Let alone the fact that JDM info has been quite diluted nowadays with all the "experts" poping like weed , getting a glimpse of real JDM only stuff like this is a really appreciated gift P.S: I know they really dont get the love they may deserve but I would love to see similar details about the GTO (I'm biased as previous owner of an USDM 3KGT
Thank you so much for that JDM Time Machine episode. I would love to see more of that content. I wonder when you will release the Mitsubishi Galant review. Looking forward to see it. Many thanks great stuff!
Very good content indeed. Any chance to show the catalogue of the NA1 when they launch at 1990 in Japan.? Would be interesting to see what accessories they offered back in the days for their 国宝🙏🏼
Great video, I´d like more of these deep dives into these catalogues for all those brands, especially now at a time when unecessary travel should be avoided, as I hear that covid seems to spread even faster in the Tokyo area.
Hi there ✌🏼 I am 33 years old, male, PlayStation generation, i finished Gran Turismo with the 2nd fastest car in the game wich was the R33GTR, the first fastest was the Mitsu GTO. Of course i know the monster power of the Supra Mk4. But interestingly, i'd rather prefer the Mk3. Yeah, it's not about the power and monstrous legend, but just the look of it, i prefer the Mk3. By the way, i drive a funky Supra3 in GTS, which make a realistic 300hp /1500kg, with OEM transmission and it's fun to drive without being freaky as hell. It's what i could drive in real world so... MK4ever of course, and that's cool cause nobody will be interested in the one i prefer so, keep loving the Supra's ✌🏼🏁
10:21 Common misconception - both turbochargers are actually the same size. The engine uses just one below about 4500rpm and both beyond. Very cool video though, some stuff I have never seen before!
Heehee. Cool. Though don't skip the colors! :) (I've been curious why green ones seem to be pretty rare over there. It was a pretty popular color where I'm from. :) )
Fantastic! That was great Yes, id thoroughly love to see more brochures (as ive seen the Aussie ones) Id dearly love to see a S!$- S15 brochure review (And maybe a Silvia hyper rev) Keep up the fantastic work!
Just a small correction. That isn't a waste paper box (or 'clean box' as Toyota called them), they were knee cushions that mounted to the door and centre console to keep your legs from swaying all over the place during cornering. They kept your legs in place
In Japan. “Clean Box” means we can keep the car clean by removing trash to this box. Therefore it is designed as a waste paper bin that is compact and doesn’t take up space in the passenger leg room. The box has a lid with a removable inner bin to use with plastic bags so the owner can dispose of trash at the convenience store. The clean box is designed specifically for each model as is attached to the lower PASSENGER side lower centre console at a low and discrete position. Toyota makes this accessory for almost all their models. Not only sports cars which the driver doesn’t require to brace himself for cornering. On the other hand , there are specific knee braces and these are usually only for the driver. They come in pairs as one is attached to the door and are mounted in a position higher than the clean box and physically smaller
@@visionenippon-captbradford9344 Yes, that's what I said! Haha I was just saying that what you mentioned as a waste paper box in the video were in fact the knee braces. I'm aware of the clean boxes, it's design and it's location. I have one for my Toyota Soarer Z30
Nice stuff, it's such a shame that cars were a sells dud (state side). I remember somebody who worked at a dealer back then saying something about how these cars were just sitting on lots because nobody wanted them. Crazy how a car that nobody cared about is now going for 100k on the used market now.
This is dope. Very interesting. The Gran Turismo music is a perfect match
I’d love to see a “JDM Time Machine” episode on the JDM Brochure for the FC-FD RX7.

Surprised no mention of the super rare factory option fender mirrors for these cars
Would love to see the same for Evo 6!

Looking at gt500 supra, and then thinking how this car end now its sad. From track beast to straight lane car or just HYPE-MEME car because of movie
