My cat Lila knows your voice! Every time I watch one of your videos she runs up to the TV with her little face right in front and watches and waits for you to show the hummingbirds. Lol! Today she waited 40 minutes and finally saw birds. She jumped down but now she's back hoping...
Wish I could post a picture.

Robbie, you make life sound exciting and fun no matter what the season is. Thank you for sharing your love of gardening. I've been saving tomato, pepper and squash seeds and have started some squash in a bottle out on the snow using the winter sowing method. The Joy of trying is slowly overcoming my fear of failing. In the back of my mind I can hear you say, "oh well, if it works it works". If not I'll just buy some already started in the spring! Nothing is going to stop me now😄

That was such a cute ending with Gary placing a little table for your tea and letting the pup be there to pet. I can just see the bench painted with purple Iris and Nasturtiums planted all around the berm. That would make a pretty little oasis. And Nasturtium are edible too - leaves and flowers. Thanks Robbie!

I LOVE that you added that ending, a beautiful sight of your husband enjoying the result of his hard work with his beloved dog.
Spring is almost here and I never thought I would have the green seedlings so early to "spot" from the totes to their own growing areas. Eating from my own garden is a blessing, thank you.

Strawberries I've had problems with, I moved and planted in a sunny location with a little dirt and all mulch they have taken over I picked over 200 Strawberries this year, just a option for you to let you know they will grow in your wood bark mulch just need a little soil over roots for main plant and they take off. I'm making my area bigger once we put bags down over grass and add more mulch so the Strawberries will take off more by next summer. I'm calling it my Strawberry corner. They happy their and I finally have Strawberries which I'm so excited 😊 FINALLY YAY !!! Thanks for all your videos I love them all. I've learned so much. I just did the small containers with tulle and seeds and just looked today and I have sprouts 🙂

I have not had luck with container garden plants. Pests, questionable soil, water-logging, draining issues, heat, plant diseases, racoons, etc. turned it into too much work for container gardening for me (Florida). So I have been concentrating on planting trees in containers instead, and they are doing much better with almost no fuss and bother from me. I ordered a mulberry tree (dwarf) online and planted it about two years ago, maybe less. It came at 2 feet and is now 14 feet high and full of flowers. It did make four berries as a warm up last fall. Delicious! It's in the ground, and is growing so big and fast I am just amazed. I have been eating tangerines and star fruit, and I don't do anything for the trees except place large wood branches around the base to keep in moisture, and throw weeds, branches and leaves on the bases. The papaya trees are growing like weeds, and I planted a mamey tree seed from one I got at the store, and it popped up - it's beautiful. I also have moringa trees that are about a year old and growing well. Moringa is good for leaf greens and other things. My loquats are just now turning gold, and they are my very favorite fruit to eat right off the tree. I have to fight the squirrels for those, so I wrapped the fruit clusters in pieces of deer netting.
For those of you who want plants without the trouble of a garden, please consider fast growing fruit/nut trees. You can still plant at the bottom of the tree, as they take up no ground space, and do provide some shade for other plants on the ground. I don't have the pest problem now, and I don't have to water or weed but once every few weeks depending on the season.
I think part of success in any kind of gardening is a bit of overplanting, so when some things die, you still have "stuff." Thank you Robbie for all your videos. I love your pictures of the birds and your sensitivity to their needs. Blessings!

Every time I see the wall behind the totes I think it would look so awesome to have it painted with a large garden themed mural with flowers, veggies, birds, etc. Have you ever considered painting the wall? Also, I would love to see how the "puzzle" walls around those four totes was made. Thanks to you, we are giving totes a try this year in our zone 9a garden to help retain moisture. Love your enthusiasm. My parents used to feed hummingbirds at their place in Colorado. They were so entertaining. They always said they knew summer was winding down because the Rufus hummingbird would show up to chase the others South for migration. ☺

You said Gary has benefited and no longer needs a cane. You would benefit a lot of people with this information.
