Chest area pains = myocarditis = heart inflammation. Very common adverse reaction with the Pfeizer vaccine although you really have to look for the info. Talk to your Dr as soon as you feel this again. I know too many people here that were hospitalized for it after their injections. Please take care of yourself!

So glad you and Gary got the vaccine. I had Moderna and had aches and arm pain from the first, chills, flu-like symptoms from the 2nd. Exactly 24 hours later I was perfectly fine and energetic. Everyone else I know who had Pfizer had no reaction to the 2nd shot, but everyone's different. Still wear my mask everywhere to protect others.

I love your thriftiness, and innovative ways with gardening….Haven’t known what to do with my tub lid and you have given me several ideas…..plus I never thought to use tulle for bug netting….I have been using that thin white row cover cloth, but hate that you can’t see through it….I just purchased 2 bolts of 40 yards each of tulle on ebay for $9.00 each and free shipping….Got it in red and green…I’m going to use the red on my strawberries and tomatoes….see if it boosts production like the red plastic does….👍🌸
Im composting doing it your way and I love that I can 2/3 fill a container then fill the top 1/3 with dirt and plant right on top while the bottom part turns into soil. I started with lettuce which have shallow roots. Lettuce is mature and great. Thinking what to plant in them next....Thank you Robbie!!🌱😊🌱 And I'm saving my broccoli seeds for microgreens during this winter.

We go to a blueberry farm (pick your own) on the way to Santa Barbara from Valencia. Their blueberries are grown on mounds and in rows that have netting because the birds will pick them bare! 👀 They grow very well!

Grate or food process your zucchini and freeze. It has no need to rush them to eat. (besides you may turn green if you eat too much) Do you have a food pantry or a shelter that feeds the people? I had an allergic reaction to Pfizer because I have severe allergies and people with severe allergies tend to react to Pfizer. The Head of the Health Department said I couldn't get the second one. But because the rest of my family are fully vaccinated, I can be around them completely. A friend of mine almost died from Covid in the very beginning of the Pandemic but survived. Unfortunately, her brother died from it. But I am careful to stay around fully vaccinated people for my safety. Anyone else must wear a mask.

I've tried a few things like soap spray, but it usually just ends up killing the plant. I just go out everyday and squish them! They like to hide under the leaves.

My husband was hospitalized for 1 and a half months with covid then another 3 weeks in rehab to learn how to walk and stand and do all the things we all seem to take for granted. Starts are very good, easy to plant and they take off fast. Sets can be good for the fall, but lately some of the "sets" we have gotten were old and didn't do well. Have done seeds, many seem to disappear, so starting seeds in containers, and moving later seems to work best for me. EASY to re-plant like lettuce. Thanks

I got Pfizer too. The first one I was okay. The second one I was okay The first day then on the second I was a little achy, a little headache but for about 6 days I had the worst brain fog. Then I was fine. A nurse at Kaiser said you got the good one. It typically has milder side effects. Now I am so glad I got it but there is no way that I feel safe to go without my mask. We need over 70% of Califirnia to get it so I encourage others to do their part do we can get back to normal. Hope you are all the way better in the next few days.

Robbie there is a better way to farm called regenerative farming where you work with nature and a lot of the farms in Australia are doing this to their farms that have been devastated by the old way of farming The regenerative farm is unaffected by droughts and works so much better

I have a good friend that makes me GF zucchini bars, sometimes she puts in a bit of choc chips...I like it plain. Not crazy about chocolate.
My big strong birdies out here in the desert just tore a hole in my tulle the size of a quarter and ate the tomatoes, inside.
I have not had that, but you can double up on the tulle.

I got Pfizer too. The first one I was okay. The second one I was okay The first day then on the second I was a little achy, a little headache but for about 6 days I had the worst brain fog. Then I was fine. A nurse at Kaiser said you got the good one. It typically has milder side effects. Now I am so glad I got it but there is no way that I feel safe to go without my mask. We need over 70% of Califirnia to get it so I encourage others to do their part do we can get back to normal. Hope you are all the way better in the next few days.

Glad to hear your protecting yourself from covid. I got the Pfizer vaccine, the first one only gave me a sore arm for a few days. The second one gave me a sore arm and I felt like I had a hangover for 3 days. Still its better than a pine box 6 feet down. I wonder were you get those colorful five gallon buckets.

Robbie there is a better way to farm called regenerative farming where you work with nature and a lot of the farms in Australia are doing this to their farms that have been devastated by the old way of farming The regenerative farm is unaffected by droughts and works so much better
Oh, and I planted some black beauty zucchini seeds I bought, and one came up like the silver mottled ones. 🙄
