That was much more entertaining than expected! The "market" restocking mechanic of flipping the points card is great - it means that you can strategically get rid of any point cards that are going to help your opponent on their turn, without having to take it yourself, and while also getting veggies that can give you points! Smart!
This is quieter and much more tactical and cordial than your usual videos - I enjoyed this video and this game quite a bit, thanks gang.

This game seems fun once you figure out the strategy. Although much like the crew of the titanic I felt like I was just plowing into an Iceberg trying to figure out what was going on

Just wondering was there any logic involved in choosing 53 cards for this play through? The rules say 36 for 2 player and 54 for 3 player? I do tend to believe the game is too short with 36 cards all the same. Will have to try the 2 player at 54 cards. It's also recommended when removing cards, that the same number of each suit are removed. 53 not being a multiple of 6 meant at best 1 suit was short a card, which was not considered here as you have 10 onions and only 8 tomatoes. Just saying... Thanks for the great play through, very entertaining!
I like this game so much that I bought it before I'd even finished watching the first people I saw play it.. play it.
Edit: I do wish the maths at the end was a bit simpler though. Surely there's got to be a way to streamline that, just generally speaking.

Did you guys play with the whole deck? I think with a 2 player game you only use 6 of each veggie for 3 rounds each

:O Fluxx is one of my favorites! It's one of the easiest games to teach and actually get a game going in, and it's also very different every time, so I pull it out as a space filler for every party.
Also the various rethemes are each unique and different. It's not just new names for cards, they have new mechanics as well.
Fluxx is definitely a game where people can just win at random, but it does have some strategy. Moreover, if you don't agonize over every move, it's quick. You play to a winner, then reset. You can get in 10+ games in an hour.
Five-player Fluxx is random nonsense. Two-player Fluxx can be very strategic. Both kinds of game have their place, but also people who don't like them.
@@davidpercik3956 You should play Fluxx as it was meant to be played... by as many people as will fit at the table. 8-man is amazing chaos.
Fun Fact (which has probably been disproven since I heard it): Red peppers are the ones which are most ripe and green peppers are the most unripe, therefore never buy green peppers.
Just to be a d-bag, tomatoes are technically fruits not veggies
zanzibarwhite - so are cucumbers and zucchini and watermelons are botanically (and genetically) more like a vegetable
