Ah Watergate, back when reporters catching politicians doing illegal things actually mattered to people. Those were simpler times.

In any case, while I enjoy a good political debate, do we really need to discuss modern politics in this context? Board games are an escape from reality so please keep that in mind. Thanks!
Edit: I understand that the theme of this game is a bit political. However, it's a good game regardless of the theme and it's history, not modern issues.

Everything is political. Everything is chemicals. Also, journalists don't even have to dig up shit on Trump, he'll tweet it out himself. And get zero repercussions, because nothing matters anymore.

Probably simpler than that. I think he's just saying that being Johnny Chiodini IS a crime, which means we need to arrest Johnny for existing.
Honestly my favorite thing about this game is that it gives the option to make an alternate history track where Nixon got away with everything.
Thank you for doing this! While I loved watching the explanation video of the game that Wheels did, I didn't really start to understand the game till seeing it in action.

Love it when Johnny says "If I've learned anything from the Wire it's follow the money." When "Follow the money" comes from the investigation of the Watergate scandal.

Quite glad we got to see this game in action, I was intrigued after that review.

Dude's been dead for a quarter century, and out of the press for another two decades before that. _Futurama's_ Nixon is most of what's left in American pop culture.
This game is very aesthetically pleasing and all the components look properly sturdy. Thumbed up despite the absence of Fedora.
Out of wild curiosity; Johnny, why do you keep your hair down in most of these videos but have the hair tie on your wrist? I always find them super uncomfortable

i subbed thinking they were going to be a d and d channel, i don't like a lot of tabletop games due to them being depressing or needlessly dark, i deal with depression and d and d was the only one that clicked with me, if you enjoy other tabletop games and hate all the love d and d gets over them, maybe it's because when anyone comes from d and d looking for new tabletop games to play they meet angry people that get mad at them for no good reason and thus scare away what could have been life long fans of these games, sorry if i offended you, hope you have many years of fun playing what you love, if you have a favorite non d and d tabletop game what is it and why?

I believe they'll be more proactive about answering your question on Twitter if anything. Are you ever the type to peruse OX's twitters and even trade some chuckles in the Replies? They have and probably usually will try to apologize for mishandling or misspeaking stuff, ♡ also I just wanna add: Best of luck with the mental health stuff, I know Johnny has written and shared about his own experiences. Definitely makes me like him more. I digress tho. Be gentle about your mental health journey and to yourself, there's always room for something else, and time and people irl and online witth whom to keep growing and learning. Thanks for your comment - the short answer is 'get used to it'. The longer answer is that giving my team the freedom to express themselves is important to me and it's one of the core values on which the channel is built. It's statistically impossible that we're going to see eye to eye with every single one of our viewers, but it's better than not being ourselves. If that's a dealbreaker for you then I understand - figured it was best to be up front. Also, Watergate is an inherently political game so I think it's contextually appropriate. Cheers! - Johnny
