I like the idea that the special puddings are the riskiest items, it's like taking a gamble on an unfamiliar menu.
Wheel's chipper & general positive nature is the perfect counterbalance to the Grumpy Chiodini.

You guys should keep a scoreboard for 1 vs 1 game plays. In the long run you could make the score board a game. First to 10 wins mark gets something or the other one get penalised.

Glad to see some gameplay again. A couple of the games you reviewed were so complicated, I would have really liked to see them in action.
I agree, but Scythe takes about 6 hours for a game so I'm not sure it would do that well for viewers.
So much of the action is right in front of the individual players that it's impractical and incredibly difficult to film boardgames

Fun fact: most wasabi in the uk isn’t actually wasabi! It’s a mix of horseradish, hot mustard, and green dye.
That's actually true for Wasabi period. mainly because wasabi is SUPER hard to grow outside of perfect environments so it's super expensive so they fake it! even in japan actually not uncommon to never have tasted real wasabi

The puddings giving lots of points to the person with the most, and taking away lots of points from the person with the least reminds me of the horrors of Mahjong and how you can get completely wiped out in one round.

Johnny's glee when screwing over Wheels is entirely my board game style, and that last pun was just excellent.

Fantastic episode as always, such great fun. I am a bit surprised by the skill of dice handing though, since so many ended up on the floor. I was sure by the end of this at least one die would break, but alas.

So the most tense I've ever been with sushi: I was eating at our local Sushi place with my parents. We found out there's a special menu item called the roulette roll. It's a bunch of tasty sweet rolls in the shape of a question mark where one has been absolutely doused in capsicum oil. Now my Mom and I are big into spicy stuff, so we figure we can give it a go. We start eating them, and it was nerve racking, but we both believed we could handle it. My mom lost. It made her sick for hours from the heat of that oil, and she ended up throwing up when we got home.

Love the original Sushi Go. Enjoyed playing this but the box is so unreasonably big. Oh and Johnny might have thought it was Tuna because in the old german version with different art, it was!

I really enjoyed watching this video and especially getting a sense of what the dynamic between Johnny and Wheels is going to be like.
But seeing the two of you side by side reminds me that once the channel has found its feet a bit, it’d be nice to see a female host to round things out a bit.
Of course to stay on brand with Johnny and Wheels, she should have an absolutely magnificent beard.

Wasabi is very rare and expensive. Most people have only eaten imitation wasabi, which is dyed horseradish.
