Just became diabetic, was called into the Dr surgery yesterday, saw a nurse who told me to be careful of a Keto diet because it can be bad for my kidneys, and also a fad diet!! will ignore her advice, would much rather listen to Richard and Dr Westman
Hi Dr. Westman! Four years ago my doctor told me I would be on dialysis in 10 years. I adopted a ketovore diet and now my kidneys are functioning normally. For now, dialysis is not a concern. Thanks to eating meat!
Following the Late Dr Atkins Dr Westman and Dr Ken Berry these three men have improved my life in so many ways not just a loss of 100 lbs over 12 years but all of my health marks have improved
Im a massive fan of Mr Smith and Kent carnivore. Agter 8 long years of illness and getting nowhere with my doctor i finally turned to these people and their information. Although ive had health set bavks due to COVID and the flu, im over 6 months in and slowly getting my health back🙏 These guys have saved my life. I was contemplating something else entirely as i had been housebound and suffering excutiating pain ehich i am certain was due to my previous years of a veggie and vegan lifestyle. It all makes so much sense now. I eat butter for breakfast, go to work then eat my meat and eggs for dinner thats me done for the day. I have heavy cream when im tired 👍
I had third stage kidney disease, and they didn’t even want me to have an aspirin, even though I had gout symptoms throughout my body, in six months on carnivore it was all gone after being here for years and decades, and I was eating all the super foods and salads and all that they say to eat And I was getting sicker and sicker until I went carnivore
Can you please do a video on gout? I know that it's not caused by red meat, but I don't know it nearly well enough to explain why not. I haven't been able to find anything that goes deep enough into the fundamentals. You seem like the person who could best break it down in a way that my brain understands. Thanks for all that you do!
P0ttengers Human Channel…. ‘End Gout Forever’…. Richard I’m sure would approve until he gets round to maybe a dedicated video. I have heard him speak of gout and he aligns with the above mentioned….
@@Tee667 Thank you! Definitely some good info in there... but I do still have some questions lol. I don't know the actual metabolic pathway that is expressing the pain. I know people IRL who seem to experience gout flare ups after consuming red meat, but I don't know why that association exists. I've also read anecdotes of uric acid increasing when someone starts a carnivore diet. Is it a stage of detox, or something else?
on lazy leto (normal day is between 30-80 net carbs) and for the first time of my life my gums don't bleed. I used to take 500% the RDA for vitamin C through citrus, sweet peppers I still have veggies that contain vitamin c but don't always hit the "100%", yet my gums are in way better shape
My memory, I do know, is degrading as I put on the years; fault if I'm wrong, but, I do believe I've watched this banter 3 times now. 3 times !!! It must be popular. I think I'll do a critique on this video and, as I do welcome criticism in a visual form, I would welcome any video responses.
When my husband took turmeric, he said it didn't help at all. Yet I know a few people who say that it does. Could it be the placebo effect or from the blast of glutathione released?
I buy 16oz or less dark bottled evoo to prevent oxidation. I do 1 tablespoon per day neat! It’s gone in less than one month, which is great for preventing oxidation! I use Cobram EVOO from one source in Cali certified and harvest date listed on the bottle 🇺🇸🙏🏻
Dr. Eric Westman reveals a surprising twist on vegetables-could they actually be pro-oxidants? 🤔 You won't believe what he has to say about our beloved greens!
I am starting to believe that vegetables are only toxic because we eat them like food instead of using them as medicine. Just like with mainstream medications you will get sick or die if you go over the dose. I believe that there are vegetables, herbs, and spices for every sickness. And there is a certain dose for each of them. And a certain amount of time to consume them. Basically I believe an animal diet only is the proper diet but only using a vegetable for its purpose to treat something might be the only safe and proper time to consume them. Rather than having a plate full of all types of vegetables and just sitting there eating them like food. Like, why would you be on medication for your liver if your liver is fine. Don’t you think that should be the same for herbs, vegetables, and spices. Should you be gobbling down ginger, and holy basil, and milk thistle if your liver is healthy. Doesn’t make sense to me. A lot of you are just greedy and have no control and no knowledge of right from wrong. You just eat whatever and think it’s not a problem. Like you can be sick from eating “healthy” and not even know the damage you’re causing yourself until you see it manifest after months or years. This is something I am looking into.
TBH I don't like that Dr. Westman kind of implies that the genetic differences can be so huge, that some people are healthy on a higher carb diet. Because though it may be less detrimental for a few, it's definitely not beneficial. This kind of mudding the waters is used by many carb addicts as a reason to not even try.

Very happy that Richard is getting the attention from Dr Westman. Well deserved!!

Richard deserves wider exposure. 🤩
I watched it a couple of days ago on Dr. Westman's channel - he's great, so it's nice that as a result of you posting this more people will find him.
The beauty of truth! Thank you! Live long-er and prosper, Richard Smith and Dr Westman🙏🏽🙂🙏🏽🙂❤

New subscriber....the truth eventually rises to the top. It's an amazing time to be alive.
Richard Smith is excellent. I hold him at the same level of respect as Dr. Anthony Chaffee. Super solid.
I watched the interview and Dr. Westman's review about the interview...Your explanations are so interesting! 👍
Richard is so amazing!! Love all his info!!

I have no problem not eating out at most restaurants. It's far cheaper to cook your own food, and I avoid seed oils like the plague.
Totally agree! Cooking at home is not only way cheaper but also way healthier, especially when you avoid those nasty seed oils
Seed oils are a plague!
Haven't eaten out in many years!
There is a fortune to be made for whoever starts an actual seed oil and processed food free restaurant.
@@zamfirtoth6441The Modern Stone Age Kitchen in Chestertown Maryland. It is excellent. Check the out. Bill Schindler.
Richard Smith is amazing such a intelligent human being helping the human race .much respect for him❤👏👏👏👏👏
Another educational video. Thank you very much❤
Great video!
Go Richard, great you have caught Dr Westman's attention ❤
Love Richard!
Great show. Very interesting. Thanks!
Thanks!
Brilliant stuff Richard. Thank you very much and I'm following you now.
Some produce that we call vegetables are actually fruits: tomatoes, cucumbers, aubergines 🍆 etc.
I watched this but trying to help the algorithm
And you have to love that Welsh accent
My kidneys improved on keto
Stage 4 to 3

Dr. Berry has videos on gout.
@ Pottenger does answer questions. Ask in the comments
Richard also does great videos with Coach Stephen. Please subscribe to their channels as their content is golden.

Even the non-starchy vegetable cause me joint pain. Fruits too. And also seeds.

Some plants have medicinal properties but none have significant nutritional properties
@@zamfirtoth6441 exactly. And just like medicines, they help some and do some damage while being consumed.

So one get's a glutathione reaction because plants are pro-oxidants. I get it now. Must be a little slow due to my previous life eating plants.
Short answer is yes they are.

It blew my mind when I heard this. Is green tea a pro-oxidant?
