Just became diabetic, was called into the Dr surgery yesterday, saw a nurse who told me to be careful of a Keto diet because it can be bad for my kidneys, and also a fad diet!! will ignore her advice, would much rather listen to Richard and Dr Westman

Hi Dr. Westman! Four years ago my doctor told me I would be on dialysis in 10 years. I adopted a ketovore diet and now my kidneys are functioning normally. For now, dialysis is not a concern. Thanks to eating meat!

Im a massive fan of Mr Smith and Kent carnivore. Agter 8 long years of illness and getting nowhere with my doctor i finally turned to these people and their information.
Although ive had health set bavks due to COVID and the flu, im over 6 months in and slowly getting my health back🙏
These guys have saved my life.
I was contemplating something else entirely as i had been housebound and suffering excutiating pain ehich i am certain was due to my previous years of a veggie and vegan lifestyle.
It all makes so much sense now.
I eat butter for breakfast, go to work then eat my meat and eggs for dinner thats me done for the day. I have heavy cream when im tired 👍

I had third stage kidney disease, and they didn’t even want me to have an aspirin, even though I had gout symptoms throughout my body, in six months on carnivore it was all gone after being here for years and decades, and I was eating all the super foods and salads and all that they say to eat And I was getting sicker and sicker until I went carnivore

Can you please do a video on gout? I know that it's not caused by red meat, but I don't know it nearly well enough to explain why not. I haven't been able to find anything that goes deep enough into the fundamentals. You seem like the person who could best break it down in a way that my brain understands.
Thanks for all that you do!

@@Tee667 Thank you! Definitely some good info in there... but I do still have some questions lol.
I don't know the actual metabolic pathway that is expressing the pain.
I know people IRL who seem to experience gout flare ups after consuming red meat, but I don't know why that association exists.
I've also read anecdotes of uric acid increasing when someone starts a carnivore diet. Is it a stage of detox, or something else?

  • @poquitovibes9432
    @poquitovibes9432 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I am starting to believe that vegetables are only toxic because we eat them like food instead of using them as medicine. Just like with mainstream medications you will get sick or die if you go over the dose.
I believe that there are vegetables, herbs, and spices for every sickness. And there is a certain dose for each of them. And a certain amount of time to consume them.
Basically I believe an animal diet only is the proper diet but only using a vegetable for its purpose to treat something might be the only safe and proper time to consume them. Rather than having a plate full of all types of vegetables and just sitting there eating them like food.
Like, why would you be on medication for your liver if your liver is fine. Don’t you think that should be the same for herbs, vegetables, and spices. Should you be gobbling down ginger, and holy basil, and milk thistle if your liver is healthy. Doesn’t make sense to me.
A lot of you are just greedy and have no control and no knowledge of right from wrong. You just eat whatever and think it’s not a problem. Like you can be sick from eating “healthy” and not even know the damage you’re causing yourself until you see it manifest after months or years. This is something I am looking into.

TBH I don't like that Dr. Westman kind of implies that the genetic differences can be so huge, that some people are healthy on a higher carb diet. Because though it may be less detrimental for a few, it's definitely not beneficial. This kind of mudding the waters is used by many carb addicts as a reason to not even try.
