This is my options for choosing which version that I will use.
    **Gaming**
    - Is it for modern gaming? Windows 11.
    - Is it for gaming but low-end specs? Windows 10.
    - Is it for emulation/emulator games? Windows 10.
    **Programming**
    - Do you have to program UWP application? Windows 11.
    - No UWP but Visual Studio? Windows 10.
    - Heavy programming with WSL2 and Docker? Windows 10.
    - Android Development? Windows 10.
    **Multimedia**
    - Graphic Design only? Windows 10/11.
    - Adobe Ecosystem Supremacy? Windows 11.
    - Drawing is your passion? Windows 10/11.
    **Looksmaxxing*
    - Do you want MacOS? Windows 11.
    - Love retro stuff? Windows 10.
    **Security**
    - Do you want latest features? Windows 11.
    - Do you want stability? Windows 10.
    - Not really care about updates? Windows 10.
    **Performance**
    - Do you have low-end PC? Windows 10.
    - Do you want AI girlfriend(s)? Windows 11 (w/ Copilot AI)
    - Do you want to get rid Edge browser? Windows 10.
Just do not disable Windows Defender, even though it is having small to significant impacts into your performance, but WD is the best anti-virus that actually free for your PC.

Skipping every other version of Windows has been the right move for a long time and it seems that's not changing. I'm still on 10 and getting ready to format and reload 10 again. Decided to watch a number of videos about why you should move to 11 and I don't see any real benefits to making the change. I guess I'll just wait for the next version again, plus a few years on top of that for the bugs to get worked out.

I’m more of: if you only have one PC. Stick with what’s stable. In this case time of writing windows 10.
But if you have multiples laptops. For sure get windows 11 and play with it.
But I agree, nothing ground breaking on win11, similar to windows 8 and vista and winME.
Win12 should be the next big thing. I just wish I didn’t need to buy a MacBook to use macOs

An upgrade to Windows 11 can feel very confusing, sometimes it feels like a more bloated Windows 10, you may have to click more sub-menu's to get to your favourite preferences. I'm sure Windows 12 would be much nicer, but I haven't found anything Windows 11 can do that Windows 10 can't.

After almost a year of using 11 and just reverted back to 10, I would say Windows 11 isn’t that bad. Of course, that sub-menu can be frustrating, but it’s not something you can’t get used to. I like many new convenient features, but I agree that it has potential to be unique on its own. I hope the next Windows will be really worth it.

MY OPINION: Windows 10 is better just because it is simple and Microsoft is bombarding me and other Win10 users with ads to upgrade to 11. They have also buried options deep down when previously you could get to them in a matter of clicks. The start menu sucks in my opinion due to its poor design. I tried Win11 out on my computer and I downgraded to 10 after a few days. Just a reminder for those who are thinking of going back to 10, I heard that option is available for a limited time so please make the decision fast. I'm still not used to the new File Explorer design, and for me, it is kinda hard opening the legacy menus. Finally, the right-click context menu is so confusing. I feel that Win11 is a downgrade from Win10 and I will probably be using it until 2025 (or if Windows 12 is released). Besides, Microsoft is sooo strict with its hardware requirements that are quite expensive for people that are trying to save money while wanting to get a new Windows 11 PC.

imo windows 10 looks sharp while windows 11 looks lazy to me. I have a weird perspective. I only want windows 11 bc of the instant hotspot. It is really saddening that they haven't provided such a feature to windows 10. Also the windows explorer tabs are really useful. Aside from that, for me windows 10 just looks better. Btw, you said Microsoft's bombarding you, i haven't received any notification or ad about windows 11 since the day i clicked stay on windows 10 for now. There's probably a way to stop it.

Not receiving updates sounds like a good thing honestly. In addition to some other instances of updates breaking certain features, my start menu (on Win 10) has been completely broken for years, ever since one of their forced updates killed it. Had the same experience on another PC running W10 and only a complete OS reinstall with formatting will help. Microsoft always bites off more than they can chew (test) and I just can't deal with these damn updates anymore. W10 for me.

I used windows 11 for most of this year. It completely sucks. Slow as fwuck, when opening the file explorer it takes many seconds. It consumes a lotta battery, using in the battery efficient mode is even more slooooooooower. I've downgraded it to windows 10, and I'm having a much better experience so far. I use a i5 core, 8 ram laptop computer. If you use the same, stay on windows 10. It's waaaaay much better. The only good aspect of windows 11 is the design, nothing else.

Right click on desktop gives less feature than win10. You need to click extra button to get more option. If you right click on taskbar. You get a lot less options in win11, then you need to search for it deep down in settings. Start menu is just horrendous for me. Plus win10 is more stable. You "upgraded" from Windows 7 to 8. You think Microsoft is "safe hands". And you say that there were software issues going from 7 to 8 and 8 to 10.. these things tell me you have no idea what your talking about. You're the TH-cam equivalent of "My computer friend.." No one who knew anything "upgraded" from 7 to 8. So when they did upgrade to 10 from 7 it was nearly seamless. And I've been using PCs long enough to have used Windows since 3.1. Before they could use the Internet and updates as an excuse to release buggy, beta at best OS. They made sure to have their new OS as stable and compatible as possible or they would have lost a ton of money. Going from 3.11 to 95 was easy and with the compatibility mode even my DOS games still worked. 95 to 98 was trouble free. 98 to XP was again nearly flawless. I used ME on a new PC i bought long enough to recognize how crap it was and "upgraded" to Windows 98 till XP came out. Vista was garbage and skipped it until 7 and now we are in the time of widespread broadband so Windows 7 was pretty buggy on launch. But after a few updates became a great OS. But that's were the glitchy OS launches really began for Microsoft. There is so much more to say but No, you are not in "safe hands" with Microsoft.

Yes! It can be moved to the left side as in Windows 10 and the bar can be made black!

I prefer how windows 11 looks but windows 10 just works, and I know my way pretty well round it but I want to at least experience windows 11 assuming the windows 12 rumours are true

As long there still is the Bug where the explorer just pops up on Windows 11, no way. Microsoft is aware of it for nearly one year now, but was unable to fix it. Lot's of people out there whis this annoying bug.

I still can't get over the right click file explorer menus on win11. No copy paste or rename but you have to do extra clicks. And more options settings. What a load of crap it is

The only reason that I recommend Windows 11 is because Windows 10 is almost near its end of support life cycle personally I like Windows 10 but I've been using Windows 11 for about 6 months now with almost no issues The only thing I don't like about it is that you have to know the name of your application that you're looking for in the start menu to be honest I like the new position of the start menu in the middle for me it makes more sense but the fact that you can no longer view all applications is kind of a stupid decision on Microsoft end

Win 11 is not the better option.
Maybe in another year or 2 of fixing bugs and adding functionality... But there is literally zero reason to go to 11 when 10 offers so much more
