Windows is made to collect data every starting disegner can make it look hundred times better than is rn. just look deeply in to system assets and u are going to find out so many things are outdated just spywere and bloatwere are getting little bit of updates

Coding is tougher than animation?
Microsoft need to see this. This is one of the coolest thing ever!! The fact that you can change boot screen and add widgets directly from settings is a huge leap in changes. I really wish this is what windows 12 would look like, or at least similar to this
Can do all that in linux distro's !! kde plasma desktop add desktop widgets on right click on desktop add widgets then drag and drop..
Adding more eye candy just slows down the operating system, microsoft knows this which is why they've never went overboard on that. There are plenty third party softwares that will do all these things for you and leave windows as less bloated as possible to maintain performance. Windows just needs to be streamlined, intuitive and easy to use. We don't need extras that just leave room for potential issues.
If this was real OS, it'll end up with Windows 8 controversy, the design in general is nice although the fluent design system is completely gone here
Also the concept looks insanely identical to avdans concept it would be funny if AR would call this as inspired

But a lot of people don't want to compromise compatibility with Software & Games and the user friendliness just to change a bootscreen.
The animation and design is just incredible! I love such feeling and it is really cool!
Very nice concept! The glass effect was perfectly used at setup screens as well as at the system itself.
Oh! And that Windows XP theme gives A LOT of nostalgia!
This absolutely needs to be a reality!
- The number of personalization choices is almost limitless
- The animations and UI were beautiful and sublime
- The Windows XP theme was the was the best thing ever included; the nostalgia was just too much!
- The taskbar layout makes it perfect for ARM devices
Everything about it is pure perfection! The only thing that must be removed is the bloatware. Too bad it won't be implemented though...

It is not like every single app will start up as soon as you sign in and contnue run until you sign out
@@copyrightsubscribete Windows already uses blur and colour tinting, this is the same effect but with more transparency than Windows 11 (which changing that value wouldn't really impact performance) If anything if MS removes a lot of Windows 10/11 bloat we could see better performance. There's no reason the OS should consume 3+ GB of ram at the desktop. (Yes I know it caches programs, but it doesn't release that cache when you run low on RAM like people say, I have to use a RAM cleaner + debloat to not get bottlenecked in games that use 5+ GB. I went from 3.3GB of idle usage to 1.5GB after doing both. Disclaimer: debloating is kinda advanced and you should be careful not to remove things you need, so do a lot of research and take your time, I also did it on my phone to save battery life.)
Windows 7 was Win XP - phase 2 in my opinion. The same innovation, cutting edge design and layout. The Aero Glass theme and start menu..... I was in Love.

XP was trying to be comfy and friendly, with green and blue colours and nature backgrounds, Windows 7 was trying to be high tech and stylish, showing off how far PC's have come. Both are really good though!

Frankly this unattended version, certainly done in the form of a sysprep is really good, for my taste, you have really done everything that Microsoft should do. If one day, you release this open source version in ISO format , I certainly won't be the only one to adopt it ! 😉

If I hadn't read the video description, I could have spent hours looking for the .iso file. This is incredibly stunning, beautiful and full of customization. 💜
But being full of customization, also means lots of system resource usage.

This is actually the best Windows 12 concept I've ever seen! Really like this super modern vibe going on and how the taskbar looks like it's floating! Amazing! Wish Microsoft would release this operating system one day!

This looks like a cross between KDE Plasma and Gnome with plugins, and the File Explorer has the UI of Spacedrive app.

I really thought it was real. After watching the video, I checked the description and saw it is a concept. Indeed the best I have seen! And the Windows XP theme??? That is melting the heart! awesome effort and hats off front of the creator!

the level detail is abysmal. if you look at it for more than 2 seconds you'll see inconsistent spacing everywhere, text or other elements floating in the middle of nowhere, misalignments... fuck, nothing is aligned to anything consistently.

One of the best Windows 12 concept I had ever seen! You just nailed it! this is just the kind of windows we literally need! Fully customizable at the same time so neat and so smooth! I really really wish that this is our upcoming Windows 12! You just did an Overwhelming job bro! You should be designing the Windows system! Microsoft you should learn from this guy!
First suggestion is to removed the forced upgrade requirements just to use a fancy user interface.

I really like your take on the Start Menu. Takes the best from both Windows 10 and 11's Start Menus. Just make it resizable like Windows 10's and it's perfect!
This looks like an official demo. It's put together really well. I liked the repositioning of the taskbar. I'm sure people that like to use both Mac OS or Linux would like that. A lot of effort seems to be put on the installation experience but users only see that once on initial setup. Demos like these should focus more on experiences after login, that's where the innovation is needed on every iteration. Copilot for example was briefly opened and closed, considering the next version is the AI focused OS those are the experiences that need to stand out. Demonstrate useful suggestions but not overbearing like clippy used to be.

If it wants a MS account, other logins, and demands more of my PC and tries to act like its macOS...not thank you. Gonna keep W10 till it dies. So maybe 2030 with luck. By then, Linux will be on another level and gonna tell MS to ef off.
But even this concept is bad, basically W11. You need to click some copy, paste etc icons and learn them, on top of windows. In w10 you just right click anything anywhewre and get good options. W11 and 12 is/will be less clear. The UI is just worse, sacrificed for better graphics. L
Mr.Genius, those icons only exist for making things faster than searching on a huge list of options to do something common like copy/paste files. Altho, if you like the old menu you can use it since the old menu has not been removed, your welcome, no need to thank me at all. And about macOS... Keep your opinion to yourself unless you wanna get a comment like this one telling you that macOS is ugly as f*ck and that i don´t like it at all because at the same time is lot more complicated and slow to use than Windows and even have lot less
compatibility with programs and at the same time also steal resources from your devices like ram for example, and i don´t saw that on a internet random video but in a real life mac after uninstalling your lovely macOS for Windows so... Have a good day@@ancientslav4863

I wish Microsoft could release a retro styled windows like windows 95/98. I really loved the styling back then. And while yes i have ran it on plenty of virtual machines like vmware it's just not the same experience as running it on physical hardware.
Apart from the start menu and its very nice colouring , this UI is a total nightmare. the bottom panel would literally take up 50% more vertical space of your screen than in win 11, with the big gaps between the panels being basically unusable screen space as well. Additionally, this drafts "taskbar" doesnt even go fully away when you dont use it, taking screen space and disturbing anything else displayed for literally no functionallity. The top bars of all windows are also around twice the size as they currently are in Win 11, wasting even more screen space.
The seemingly optional top panel in this design concept is an even bigger... incident...; wasting literally 8% of your screen for a useless search bar (pressing the windows key and starting to type is opjectively superior), that is taking 1% of the screen on its own. The rest of the top panel is basically just used for displaying stuff that could be on the task bar. The task bar, however, is stil huge and the spaces next to it would again be completely unusable. An additional major issue with the top bar would be the problem that moving your cursor quickly to the top right of your screen and clicking would no longer result in closing any fullscreen program, but instead in opening the calendar / notifications panel.
I know that this concept has probably taken a lot of effort to create and I really appreciate the visuals of it, but an implementation of this to a real windows without the ability to have a classical task bar would be desastrous for the usability of this OS.

So this is what Windows could look like if the designers were "just left to it" instead of the management and telemetry fanatics breathing down their necks.
Your concept was great but there were some mistakes:
1. Look at the taskbar icons and their names, they were good, but at 8:32 , when you opened the taskbar, the stick notes and paint 3d icon's name at the below were not fixed, there was "paint" name instead of sticky notes and notepad instead of paint 3D
