This absolutely needs to be a reality! - The number of personalization choices is almost limitless - The animations and UI were beautiful and sublime - The Windows XP theme was the was the best thing ever included; the nostalgia was just too much! - The taskbar layout makes it perfect for ARM devices Everything about it is pure perfection! The only thing that must be removed is the bloatware. Too bad it won't be implemented though...
@@copyrightsubscribete Windows already uses blur and colour tinting, this is the same effect but with more transparency than Windows 11 (which changing that value wouldn't really impact performance) If anything if MS removes a lot of Windows 10/11 bloat we could see better performance. There's no reason the OS should consume 3+ GB of ram at the desktop. (Yes I know it caches programs, but it doesn't release that cache when you run low on RAM like people say, I have to use a RAM cleaner + debloat to not get bottlenecked in games that use 5+ GB. I went from 3.3GB of idle usage to 1.5GB after doing both. Disclaimer: debloating is kinda advanced and you should be careful not to remove things you need, so do a lot of research and take your time, I also did it on my phone to save battery life.)
Windows 7 was Win XP - phase 2 in my opinion. The same innovation, cutting edge design and layout. The Aero Glass theme and start menu..... I was in Love.
@@AnthonyJames1983 Windows 7 imo was a very different approach. XP was trying to be comfy and friendly, with green and blue colours and nature backgrounds, Windows 7 was trying to be high tech and stylish, showing off how far PC's have come. Both are really good though!

And it is definitely way way way better than any existing widows version. the integration of all the windows version from Windows XP to windows 11 is really amazing. Very nice concept! The glass effect was perfectly used at setup screens as well as at the system itself. Oh! And that Windows XP theme gives A LOT of nostalgia!
Frankly this unattended version, certainly done in the form of a sysprep is really good, for my taste, you have really done everything that Microsoft should do. If one day, you release this open source version in ISO format , I certainly won't be the only one to adopt it ! 😉

the level detail is abysmal. if you look at it for more than 2 seconds you'll see inconsistent spacing everywhere, text or other elements floating in the middle of nowhere, misalignments... fuck, nothing is aligned to anything consistently.

Awesome concept - I'd love Windows reskinned like this^ Only thing I would critique: - The speed of the start menu and context menu animations. They seem just a little slow in my opinion. - Size of the tabs in explorer the "back", "up" icons, uri field and search is too big as well as the font in the left panel of explorer and the start menu app list. (And I wasn't even full screen when watching) Obviously, if these can be scaled in a menu, problem solved. But as it stands I never liked how UIs seem to be scaling everything up in an attempt to make it look "cleaner".
If it wants a MS account, other logins, and demands more of my PC and tries to act like its macOS...not thank you. Gonna keep W10 till it dies. So maybe 2030 with luck. By then, Linux will be on another level and gonna tell MS to ef off. But even this concept is bad, basically W11. You need to click some copy, paste etc icons and learn them, on top of windows. In w10 you just right click anything anywhewre and get good options. W11 and 12 is/will be less clear. The UI is just worse, sacrificed for better graphics. L

This looks like an official demo. It's put together really well. I liked the repositioning of the taskbar. I'm sure people that like to use both Mac OS or Linux would like that. A lot of effort seems to be put on the installation experience but users only see that once on initial setup. Demos like these should focus more on experiences after login, that's where the innovation is needed on every iteration. Copilot for example was briefly opened and closed, considering the next version is the AI focused OS those are the experiences that need to stand out. Demonstrate useful suggestions but not overbearing like clippy used to be.

Your concept was great but there were some mistakes: 1. Look at the taskbar icons and their names, they were good, but at 8:32 , when you opened the taskbar, the stick notes and paint 3d icon's name at the below were not fixed, there was "paint" name instead of sticky notes and notepad instead of paint 3D
really great concept, i like the colour grading, even I always prefer dark mode on every device i have, and this appeals to me a lot, it looks very professional, and i also love the smooth experience while closing tabs, would love to see concepts like this implemented in actual windows as well...
