    Everything you told is correct but,
    Please justify this how HR is giving high package for new employee with same experience level of same domain ?
    Means staying in one company longer is crime ?

      thats why i switch companies. my wife's pay increased barely by 40% in last 5 years while i kept on switcing and now make 600% more in the same timeframe just on base pay. its more like 10x when you include all the incentives and bonuses.

      she will not answer your question mate, you nailed it. There is no right answer, what fits best to you and the company by amicable co-operation works best.

      Because new people have more caliber then old ones. Also they will not be getting same hike which they got on hire, they will also get same increments hence with time the salary will match up.

    but if we in big company and let say package is 24 lpa then 5% will be still 1.2L.
    In Small company as they wil have budget issue and also in small company package will be less let say 5.5 LPA, then even 10% hike will be only 55K

      Dear, that is too much generalization.. what made you think that for a role which is getting 5.5L in small companies will get you 24L in big ones.. LOL..
      By small, I meant companies which have smaller strength(less number of employees), I didn't mean poor companies..
