    There are introverts who only do their work but never poke their nose in any thing or they not even hang out with team. But the thing is they never get well appreciated by the team leader or managers as they are silent heroes. But remember, they are the building blocks of your company.

    I used to be an A category guy. 18 yrs across 3 multinationals awarded 3 consecutive years best sales guy and employee of the year yet was never acknowledged by my boss and always credit was stolen for all the work I did. He kept rising but I was just getting awards but promotions were never on the cards for me. I got frustrated to the core and then left and started my own busuness for the past one year. Today I have a team of 20 people with two other partners with me. I kept struggling on the people handling part as I guess I was never taught how to handle people. This video gave me the critical understanding of what went wrong when I was working and how I should be looking at my people when I lead today.
    Thank you so much. This was Gold.

    I'm highly capable, but low commitment. I definitely have an ego and respond to challenges (within reason). I don't get along with leadership who tries to get me to submit. I polish my resume and leave. However, someone who respects and values me, and gives me opportunities to grow, I make quarries out of mountains for.

    What a great speech. It truly shows the situation I am facing since 30 years. I am consultant, so I come and go. But I have seen so many capable people, quit their job in their mind, just costing money and prohibiting any progress. Only because their managers are incapable to motivate and to give in that they are not expert of the topic they are responsible for.

    This will not work in real life scenario, because A type people work with A type company. And some businesses can’t afford to pay more so they get what they pay for. Appreciation is okay but at the end only one thing matter is how much you are paying. And one more reason A company not only pay your more but give you better perks, facilities and work life balance. Which 70% companies failed to give.

    • @tiraandaz
      @tiraandaz 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      If they are A players and bringing in business, why not pay them equivalent to A type company? These people are like 4-5% of your entire workforce, so you can afford it easily.

      @navidanj 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      A doesnt mean top company and b means low company ... !
      A, B, C grade is among what you have ... A for a tea shop will be someone who can knows the process, sales and looks after old customers and gets new customers. B will be limited with lesser capability and commitment, C maybe new apprentice or serving boy, only tea maker etc .
      Each company has A, B, C according to its value. You are getting the meaning wrong ... nobody is asking an IITian or Harvard Mba to work in new start up or small company ... ! Similarly big and top companies with same IITians and Harvard Mba will have A, B, C category employees

    • @maanojuttam1

      Money cannot change skills and delivery at first place … commitment and willingness to rise high is compulsory … many people do mistake to elevate people with carrots and money … you cannot feed Badam to a Mule and expect him to perform as horse … treat all fairly and put right people at right points 💫⭐️

      This is not true.

    • @user-ev2hs7kl3i
      @user-ev2hs7kl3i 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Wrong!
      First of all, in every collective there are A-B-C types of people. A does not mean an abstract super hero. It just means that A is better than B.
      Some C from a A-class company will be an solid A in a C-company.
      And second, all we know that the world is not fair. There are people who deserve to work in Apple, but they work in some shitty place just because of circumstances. And there is always a bunch of absolutely useless employees sitting in the upper tier companies - this is how the real world works.
      Although, indeed, in average it works like the richer company - the better employees

      Right. Actually, I tuned up the volume to hear those kannada words, bcz initially i thought he said something in hindi, so i listened again and understood.
      This session is useful for both managers and also team members to correct their mistakes. Amazing video.

    Superb explanation and illustration. Which is very true and real in Indian Corporate IT industries...majority managers come thru B (commited) category and hence organisation attrition is high in that organisation...A category employees are sidelined and hence they leave the organisation ....very nice training and unleashing thw reality....this video should be share with all corporate so that there will be transformation in leadership which is lacking and collapsing the organisation culture

    @RajivTalreja this is brilliant 👏 I have been saying this for so long. Infact when my kids say, "mom it's not FAIR", I remind them every time that nothing is fair in life if you want to be happy ✨️ instead of seeking fairness work hard and develop your skills.

    Always be careful about taking advice from youtubers whose only achievement is that they built a TH-cam channel about giving advice.

    • @Rajiv.Talreja
      @Rajiv.Talreja  16 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@PrateekJain-pi9jc also it's useful to not view everyone on TH-cam with the same lens that the only thing they have done is built a TH-cam channel... Sometimes there are people who have done stuff in the real world and also love educating others... But for that one needs an open mind and the willingness to take off their horse blinders 🙂🙏

    I wish my boss watch this video once. I am a mix of B Capable and A. My new boss doesn't challenge me, rather he expect me to surrender first. He is clearly B commitment. I don't know how to go about it. I asked a skip level manager to change my reporting heirarchy, but that didn't happen unfortunately. Now I am open for other opportunities.

    This very classification has doomed the system. Note that capability can be conditional. People are more complex. People change constantly. Classification of people is nothing but bias. A more realistic and high level classification will have about 10 types of people within the team.

    I think as a leader of a company you should try to uplift the low players. Firing them is the last step. Remember : there is more cost involved in hiring process.
    Also lets say you built a high performing team at a cost. Ig you dont challenge them regularly they will leave for better opportunity.
