i have a 2003 jetta with a dead cluster how do i get pin code
The hardware store cut a key but they couldn't program the chip because the only key I had was a valet key. But I got the pin from them and programmed the key they had cut using this method with VCDS-Lite. Thanks.

Is vag tacho, the same software as vcds?
Can this be done if you have a damaged transponder that isn't working? I'm curious as I damaged mine trying to change the shell of the key as it was old. The auto locksmiths are pulling my pants down with quotes on my golf mk4
