I learned how to fly on the Bell 206 (TH-67) in the U.S. Army. Our helicopters were new back then, but they were analog. I still remember learning to do my cross check of the instrument panel. I was a bit intimidated by the new glass cockpits. But after watching this excellent presentation, it seems much less daunting.
Very interesting. Question, if both screens go down, what do you do about com and nav freqs? Well, com not so much worried about nav in a vfr bird. I have never flown a glass cockpit so please forgive me if its a dumb question. Thank you.
We are looking at a used 2018 - Bell 505 - What is your opinion of upgrading to the new G1000H Nxi screen? Hear it may be available in the 3rd quarter of 2020
