    Excellent! The 505 is an fantastic aircraft but the interior is inferior to the French alternatives. You've closed the gap, well done!

    This is really nice however here in the desert the leather is not something I would want. Do you upgrade cloth seats in a similar way? The rest is cool and I like it but the leather will burn you here where I live. Also, what does the carpet and headliner do for interior noise compared to Bells version, and what about weight increase? I like what I see. Thank you.

    Wow what a transformation! That stock 505 looks like crap by comparison. The GT upgrades make a huge difference. Unfortunately you can not change the lines of the 505...if you could that would be awesome because the 505 is one UGLY helicopter. Bell has obviously lost the mojo that created the original Jetranger...too bad.

      to each their own, i dont know why but I actually like the bulbous engine compartment and canted exhaust pipe, and especially the extra visibility for the front seats

      @@codmott286 Certainly, to each his own. I want to like like the 505 because I am generally a Bell fan having worked there for 8 years in my fist job out of college...but this aircraft looks poorly thought out. As an example, In the "old" JetRanger the pilot easily could see the the forward portion of the skids from his/her vantage point. This is not true in the 505. The skid tips are WAY behind the pilot. This alone will make landing on a precise spot, such as wheeled cart, very tricky and hazardous. Not good.

      @@brianclintone308 and there is no bubble glass below the peddles to see the ground, just off to the right and left side.
      I will say the 505 is a lot more powerful than the jetranger, Ive seen it do vertical take offs straight up with 4 passengers in it...I like the power but agree it does not appeal as much as the look of the classic and timeless Jetranger !
