Helix Av are a new and used sales specialist in helicopters and fixed wing, we are a CAA Part CAO maintenance company with a CAA Part 145 facility to overhaul dynamic components on the Bell 206 range, the Bell 505 and the Bell 407. Our approvals for maintenance include the UK CAA, FAA and M-Reg aircraft.
Helix Av are the Bell Helicopter Independent Representative for the UK and Ireland, based at Manston Airport.

Thanks for taking the time to make this series on the 222. Just a technical question, im wondered how did Bell implement vibration reduction. There was a system i think called Nordamatic , maybe spelt wrong. Just curious how that works and where on the copter the vibration is reduced.

Thank you for showing pre-flight inspection to us. My new friend had 505 so someday, I hope may will impress her by help her doing that.

Don't just look, Grab and feel for loose items. There was an HEMS 222 that was almost lost with a loose servo pack. It looped rolled uncommanded only when the pilot rolled of the throttles off on the bottom of its last loop did it land on a roof of a building. Crew and all walked away.
Holy crap , some new underpants needed after that.
Had the pleasure of taking care of a 222 for a short time before it was sold over seas - Sitting in it to go to lunch before it was gone... A Treasure. Long time pilot and mechanic - All helicopter

And the use? I mean, use that you would pay for with that much money? Picking up drowning people from lakes? Fishing? Landing in lakes in stead of flat terrain 😊

Where are the Coperheads and Hellfire rockets mounted?
As an aircraft engineer your walk around inspection was rather good to watch. Certainly a lot to look for with an aging helicopter. (Only worked on helicopters very early in my career but now on large pax aircraft) How difficult is it to find parts for the 222 now it's getting on in years. Does Bell still support them well?
