Wow Amazing video.....my favorite helicopter
Greetings from Germany Duisburg😊
Sensacional.
Amazing video, thank you! But that first radio mast seemed to be incredibly close to the holding pattern! Wow!
Yes, right.
If the RNP has gone through a study, then to spot it, it must be done on a daylight and visually visible.
Due to the helicopter's tendency to go to landing coordinate,
without STAR like a fixwing,
and generally overhead and manual flying creates its own pattern.
With Google Earth,
Pilot can create downwind, base leg & long final coordinates,
according to the wind direction reported at the location.
So that FMS Nav Mode can direct the helicopter to the short final according to the safe height & obstacle surrounding.
There is no way they were complying with a published procedure on that flight. They are just practicing pushing buttons.

maybe you are right.
but in this video,
I change the mindset of helicopter pilots,
where some pilots fly to the destination area according to the coordinates,
and fly manually after arriving at the destination to do a landing pattern.
In fact,
the pilot can create additional safe waypoints to bring the helicopter to the final approach position,
which is like an RNP Approach,
which of course is visual, because there is no landing publication in all limited areas.
For example,
you are a helicopter pilot who will land in the field.
there must be someone who will fly to the field according to the coordinates.
and after the field overhead, you fly manually for the landing pattern,
even though it can be planned earlier with wind direction data & landing spot conditions.
I think,
This about the concept & mindset.
@@prasetyowibowopampam3901 You can't be making up your own procedures and program it into the FMS. If there is no procedure you need to be above LSALT until the final route segment and then proceed VFR. It's not a good idea deviating from procedures even when practising in good weather. Just fly the procedure as published.

Of course all pilots fly according to procedure, including me.
Starting from the procedure according to the flight manual,
as well as flight procedures such as VFR routes and remote area observations.
But if you are a helicopter pilot,
every time you land in a field or remote area that does not have landing guidance,
in general,
the pilot makes a manual landing to do the pattern.
Even though you can create a waypoint for the pattern, especially the final approach position, according to elevation.
Not deviating from the procedure.
Very nice!
Thank you… cheers🍺
Izin pak, mau jadi pilot heli kopter sekolah dimana pak
Kalau yang saya tahu, ada beberapa cara:
