    I have been using this vitamin c face serum by rice berry littleextra for a few months now, and I'm really impressed with the outcomes. It's become an important part of my everyday skincare routine. Over time, the serum has visibly decreased the size of my pores and diminished dark spots. It's great for my sensitive skin. One of its standout features about this serum is its light, non-greasy texture. It absorbs quickly, making my skin feel refreshed without any oily residue. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a brighter, more even complexion, especially with the benefits of black rice water. This serum is gentle enough even for sensitive skin. After applying the face serum, I follow up with rice berry sunscreen, which contains niacinamide and kojic acid, These have helped me additionally reduce dark spots. Also, doing yoga everyday helps maintain my skin's elasticity.

      This vitamin c serum by litttleextra riceberry is just wow. It works wonderfully and has notably improved my pigmentation. It contains no fragrance. Is a good match for my skin.

    Tidbit from an optometrist eye doctor: the windshields of most cars offer pretty good UV protection, but not the side windows. Resultingly, we see more sun damage on patients' left side.
    Bonus tip: Ask your optician for UV coating on your eyeglasses! Polycarbonate lenses have built-in UV protection though.

    • @brightlight8350

      Hyperpigmentation is more due to hormonal changes like pregnancy wheres sunspots are trigerred by agressive exposure in sun with out protection.

    • @cv7958
      @cv7958 2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      @TimroBuda This is completely false information. There is hypo- and hyper-pigmentation and hyperpigmentation in and of itself constitutes somewhat of an umbrella term. Sun spots are one example of hyperpigmentation. Melasma is also a type if hyperpigmentation and refers to what you described in your comment - there is a hormonal component to it. Hyperpigmentation can be the result of UV exposure, trauma, heat etc.

My face is ruined!! Wept at Dr’s office , she offered weekly peels but didn’t help!! I live in a shaded world now. I use cotz sunscreen plus any other mineral sunscreen I can get my hands on! I wear a large brim hat. I’ve tinted my car windows and place a cling UV shield also. Any reflection of sun or indoor light will darken ANY improvement I’ve managed to get from fade creams or protection from sunblocks. Aren’t Hydroquinones cancer causing?? I’ve tried triluma but it made my spots darker!
    Anything I try may work temporarily, but even with layers of the titanium/ oxide combo sunscreens , my hyperpigmentation still gets darker if I’m outdoors!!

    I'm from Europe and here Hydroquinone is banned for more than 15 years! Yes, it slows down the production of melanin, but also may cause allergic skin reactions, lungs irritation and it can also be carcinogenic.
    So what would you recommend as an alternative?

    Not sure what’s the difference between sunspot or age spot…?
    I got rid of a dime-sized spot by mixing ORGANIC, COLD PRESSED (and in a glass bottle) castor oil with ORGANIC garlic oil. I mixed 3:1, castor oil to garlic oil. I applied twice a day for maybe a month and a half, and it completely disappeared.

    BUT! What sunscreen do you recommend that’s actually affordable? I like zinc spf 50+ broad spectrum mineral sunscreen (less chemicals if possible) which sunscreen would you most recommend that’s affordable?
    I’m going through a bottle every 1-2 weeks!
    Hoping to hear some responses. I did watch your sunscreen videos before- just need to find a more affordable sunscreen.

    Great advice and recommendations. I'd be careful about freezing them off on the face, though. I had a couple of keratosis (?) spots on my back frozen off. It worked well, but left red spots that are still there a year later. Replacing a sun spot on the face with a red spot isn't much improvement. I'm going to try the Ambi cream and Adapalene. I already wear mineral sunscreen on my face. I have a couple of very tiny, but noticeable, sun spots on my face.
