    I was just wondering, how do I get the contiguous selection tool to select a certain area? Because when I click on a certain area using that tool, it just highlights the entire canvas instead of that area. Is there something that needs to be adjusted on my part or do I need to update Krita or anything? Help would be very much appreciated😊

      Are you on the layer that has the object? Sometimes I am on the wrong layer and that can make the selection tool select the whole canvas

    Great video! Just one thing - once we are done filling the selected area how do we continue drawing on the main canvas?

    • @Drawfishan
      @Drawfishan  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Press Ctrl+Shift+A to unselect the area. Then you can paint on the main canvas. I hope this helps 🙂

    How do I select more areas at the same time as you did in the beginning?

    • @Drawfishan
      @Drawfishan  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Rectangle and ellipse selection tool let you select multiple areas.

    Question. I want to draw something little like a leaf and select it, then copy it and paste to make more of the same image on one single layer so I have many leaves. Is this possible in Krita? How do you do it?

    • @Drawfishan
      @Drawfishan  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, you can make duplicates of it by selecting the leaf and then pressing Ctrl+C to copy it and then Ctrl+V to paste it as many times as you want. Keep one pressing Ctrl+V as many times as you need.
      OR
      Search for leaf brush in krita brushes if you want to use ready made presets. Hope this helps :)

    How do I move the selected line again? I hover over the broken lines, but the cursor does not change. What do I do? Are there alternatives to do this?

    • @Drawfishan
      @Drawfishan  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Sometimes the cursor does not change but the selected lines still move. You can also use move tool to move the selected line.
