Because he's literally jerry rigging the phone. This is this channel's first jerry-rig of the iphone 16, that's literally what the title says, there is nothing clickbait about it. JerryRigEverything didn't invent the term (and isn't named Jerry in case you got that confused too).
Why would they add an aluminum casing to the battery that adds unnecessary weight? The Pro Max is designed to dissipate heat without the need for a metal battery casing.
