Hey Android users, listen up. If you have an Android phone like the S23 or S24, don't act like it's the best thing ever, especially if it's an expensive model like the Google Pixel phones. Why? @@redeem5858 of course the iPhone had time to make updates lol The phone wasn’t out yet, meaning that’s the BEST time to make updates. They could literally change 90% of the phone’s software and hardware features if they wanted to because it wasn’t in the public’s hands. This is coming from an iPhone user. Apple has an unfair advantage.
If you are using an iPhone, remember that it’s literally a Samsung in disguise. The display? Samsung-made. The memory chip? Also, Samsung. So many components in your iPhone come from Samsung, and it’s wild that you’re calling Samsung 'garbage' when you're using a phone made from Samsung materials, loaded with features Samsung pioneered years ago. Not just Apple, but other major brands rely on Samsung tech: 1. Google 2. Xiaomi 3. OnePlus 4. Sony 5. Oppo 6. Realme 7. Vivo 8. Motorola 9. LG 10. Huawei (before restrictions) 11. Dell 12. HP 13. Lenovo Also let’s not forget how Apple has copied many features from Samsung over the years. It’s funny how when Samsung adopts one small feature from Apple, people freak out, but when Apple copies entire innovations from Samsung, no one bats an eye. That’s not fair to Samsung at all. Apple may be more popular in the US because of iMessage and brand loyalty, but if you look into it, Samsung has been leading in innovation for decades. Do some research, and you’ll see how much Apple has taken from Samsung. Here are just a few examples of what Samsung introduced before Apple just in case you don't know and think apple is the one that made it 1. Edge Displays 2. Multitasking 3. Customizable Widgets 4. Always-On Display 5. Fast Charging/Quick Charge 6. Wireless Charging 7. Water Resistance 8. Bixby (Samsung's assistant-while Siri was first, Bixby expanded its capabilities before Siri did) 9. Dual-Lens Cameras 10. Expandable Storage 11. Smartphone Design Elements 12. Improved Battery Technology It took Apple years just to allow users to move apps anywhere on the screen, while Samsung had many of these features for years. Samsung has also been ahead with: - Improved Low-Light Camera Performance 1 Screen Notches 2 Reverse everse Wireless Charging 3. High Refresh Rate Displays 4 Gingerprint Sensor Integration 5 Goldable Phones which Apple still hasn't done, despite the popularity and usefulness At this point, the iPhone is basically a Samsung with iOS. I use both, but I prefer Samsung because of its innovation and flexibility. So don’t call Samsung garbage.
This is the problem, but also the thing I love about the Samsung S line. There's just so many features at your disposal, if only you just knew they were there 😅 It's always fun when you find somthing new your device can do 😁
The iPhone 48MPix sensor is actually 12MPix. They divided a single pixel into 4. On the Tony&Chelsea Northrup channel, everything is nicely explained and compared. I would be most interested in comparing the iPhone 15 pro max with 16 pro

@@Raull15Samsung kind of tailor their photos to the normob who scrolls through Instagram and whose eyes are used to more saturated and contrasty pictures. Apple have always tried to market themselves at people who know about video editing and photo editing (hence some of last years pro features) so their photos are more natural. People will confidently say the more saturated colours are better but it’s largely just a result of them not really knowing about photography. Anyone can just go into the photo and install a pop filter. Apple do also include some pre-compression filter options for those who prefer more garish photos too.

@@XeqtrM1with that same logic it means that you shouldn’t compare the iPhone 16 to the S24 either. That’s a 7 month advantage that Apple had. They had time to look at the S24 and make changes. The S25 is a better comparison since the releases are closer. Only 4 months.
The tech would be more similar.
It’s like comparing a child born 1/1/2000 vs 11/11/2000 it’s not fair. You would compare the kid born 11/11/2000 to someone born 1/1/2001 instead.
@@MichaelTimmonsJrs24 had numerous times to get updates while the iPhone did not
@@XeqtrM1Samsung release on the first of the year, that’s mean they use the previews year tecnology. Meanwhile Apple release due to the end of the year. So the right is Iphone 16 Pro Max should be compare to Gakaxy S25 Ultra. That’s 1000% FAIR. Got it?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@redeem5858 of course the iPhone had time to make updates lol
The phone wasn’t out yet, meaning that’s the BEST time to make updates.
Not just Apple, but other major brands rely on Samsung tech:
1. Google
2. Xiaomi
3. OnePlus
4. Sony
5. Oppo
6. Realme
7. Vivo
8. Motorola
9. LG
10. Huawei (before restrictions)
11. Dell
12. HP
13. Lenovo
Also let’s not forget how Apple has copied many features from Samsung over the years.
Here are just a few examples of what Samsung introduced before Apple just in case you don't know and think apple is the one that made it
1. Edge Displays
2. Multitasking
3. Customizable Widgets
4. Always-On Display
5. Fast Charging/Quick Charge
6. Wireless Charging
7. Water Resistance
8. Bixby (Samsung's assistant-while Siri was first, Bixby expanded its capabilities before Siri did)
9. Dual-Lens Cameras
10. Expandable Storage
11. Smartphone Design Elements
12. Improved Battery Technology
It took Apple years just to allow users to move apps anywhere on the screen, while Samsung had many of these features for years. Samsung has also been ahead with:
- Improved Low-Light Camera Performance
1 Screen Notches
2 Reverse everse Wireless Charging
3. High Refresh Rate Displays
4 Gingerprint Sensor Integration 5 Goldable Phones which Apple still hasn't done, despite the popularity and usefulness
At this point, the iPhone is basically a Samsung with iOS. I use both, but I prefer Samsung because of its innovation and flexibility. So don’t call Samsung garbage.
You are an absolute samsung fan and i like that
100% true 👌
aint nobody reading allat😭😭🤣🙏🏻
so what you're saying is, iPhone is also the best Samsung phone lol
So its the best samsung phone then? pluis you dont have to deal with the dumpster fire that is scamdroid
22:15 Pro Mode Video Mic selection can make a huge impact with overall audio quality of the Galaxy
This is the problem, but also the thing I love about the Samsung S line. There's just so many features at your disposal, if only you just knew they were there 😅
It's always fun when you find somthing new your device can do 😁
The iPhone 48MPix sensor is actually 12MPix. They divided a single pixel into 4. On the Tony&Chelsea Northrup channel, everything is nicely explained and compared.
I would be most interested in comparing the iPhone 15 pro max with 16 pro
The greatest phone camera reviewer on TH-cam, year after year. Well done, friend!!!
Bro the shots on the samsung camera were top tier im not saying iPhone's were bad but either this dude is sponsored by apple or an apple fanboy there was some shots where the samsung did so good and he said he prefers iPhone just because of a tree that was shown by 5% 🤦🏻 im gonna stop watching.
Stop being so childish. They are both EXCELLENT PHONES. They have both their strengths. Just pick the ecosystem you enjoy the most ❤
What happens when one uses both?
I kinda like both, it's really hard to say which one of those two is better
Always look forward to a supersaf style camera comparison..🤟🔥
Both cameras are so damn good. It’s just software and filters at this point.
On thing I hate about both is the over sharpening.
Video I've been waiting for. Good job
Mic still better on the s24 ultra.. thats wild
Its not? lol

@@AnonN-sr6uu I’ve been using iPhone’s for over a decade and started with the iPhone 3G. Samsung needs serious improvements on low light because there’s no comparison there, but I don’t shoot in low light often. There’s some shoots where the iPhone is more balanced and performs better, but overall I’d say for being an older phone, the Samsung is solid and you can’t go wrong with either.
The phone was just released and Samsung has had updates. The 16 will get better the longer it is out, except the lens flare. That is garbage it is still there.

With the apple logo in your name that’s wild

s24 wins for photo, portrait, and selfie. iphone for video and low light.
You’re right
Once you apply photograpic style and boom. Apple blows samsung. And btw apple can do photos like samsung. But Samsung cant do the same as apples natural look. Buy iphone you get the best of both worlds. Cheers

As usual, a great and useful comparison.
Is an option turn off that sharpening/AI interference in s24 ultra?
Yes .. but I don't know where ... hmmmmm 😕...
Yeah turn off scene optimizer from camera settings and also turn of detail enhancer😊
Another great video! Thanks for getting this out so fast. I'm torn between the two at the moment. I've had my ultra since it was released this year and the iPhone is tempting BUT they haven't really added much for me to jump switch and IDK what I'd do not being able to multitask. 🤷🏾♂️
The king of photo comparisons has finally arrived 👑
Vivo 100 ultra
What a comparison! Excellent work, Saf. Just one request: I've noticed iPhones don't preserve the colors of clouds in sunrises and sunsets. Can you add sunsrise/sunset comparisons in your future videos? Thanks.
Samsung just over sharpens everything whereas the iPhone keeps a natural look
@juniorgnamien8225 if they were then Samsung would have sold more phones then Apple but they didn’t and iPhones sold the most devices. So yeah you’re wrong like usual.
Good job again Saf! :D
Unbelievable that iPhone still suffers with those night flares.
For next generation, that will be a new feature, iAntiflare-coated lens mumbo jumbo.
I noticed that you often say “X has maintained more details in the shadows” when that’s not what either is doing, it’s simply raising the shadows. It’s not more detailed at all
But they are jpeg/heif files, so raising shadows after taking the photo will have less detail on the ssanyong
@@walkingguy6409samsung also can take photo in heif file
Saf Awesome Video and see much work went into this.Thank You.💯✌️
No mention of the fact that iPhone shoots 4K 120 is in Dolby Vision? That’s a headline feature.
If you use pro video on the S24 Ultra, you can shoot 4K 120.
Samsung can do it with Pro Video, and Samsung can up to 8K in Video

Go figure!
I preferred the s24 ultra image in almost every comparison. I'm actually really surprised with Apple lack of progress with their pictures.
What are you smoking?
iPhone was better in every category except zoom, but guess what we don’t care about zoom. Even Saf and others TH-camrs said that iPhone is better but Samsung fanboys can’t accept the reality
I agree. And I’ve been an iPhone user for years now, and this new phone has the same picture qualities of the iPhone 15 pro. Samsung absolutely won here.
@@Raull15 I get you want to sound cool, but asking what he's smoking is the most lame thing you could've said. They're both some of the best phones and outplay each other in different categories and are both great options. I don't get why people take this so personally.
Although every high end phone is almost indistinguishable now - Samsung still has a processed look and inferior video quality.
Great video as always. Danny winget's comparison will be better. Can't wait😊
After 13 years being iPhone user, I decided to move to S24 Ultra, no refrets at all, I'm totally satisfied with this high quality flagship.

Hey Android users, listen up. If you have an Android phone like the S23 or S24, don't act like it's the best thing ever, especially if it's an expensive model like the Google Pixel phones. Why? Because if it gets stolen, thieves can easily resell it and make a lot of money. On the other hand, if you have an iPhone, like the $2000 1TB model, if it's stolen, it can't be unlocked, and the parts are locked to the user's Apple ID. So, it's worth spending the extra money on an iPhone because at least if it's stolen, you can feel secure knowing that the thief won't be able to use it. But if your expensive Android phone gets stolen, the thief will make a profit and you'll be at a loss.
@@americanboy48you’ve got a valid point there, however when a thief gets hold of your device you’re already at a total loss because that part lock feature doesn’t guarantee your device back.
@@NateManganyi That's what you think. I'm from Jamaica. Thieves are not stealing iPhones again. The last time a couple thieves did steal an iPhone, they almost ended up getting killed by the owner. Yep. Got his friends with their Glock. Went hunting. Found my location. Oh my God! Damn, I tell you. It didn't end well. But the Samsung phone, they could not track it down at all. But the iPhone was a savior.
@@NateManganyi Oh, did you realize what you say? It's not a guarantee that the person will get their iPhone back. Okay, you go steal an iPhone, or if you found an iPhone lost, and you don't return it to its owner, even if they do contact you on the phone, and you don't return it, you're going to be in a lot of shit trouble. I'm just laughing right now. Trust me, it's not going to end well.
Please let me know version of Samsung S24 ultra in this video is 6.1 or 6.1.1?

Will these photography style also come to 15 pro max in ios 18. Or they just exclusive to new 16 linup?
Good question. Technically there's no reason whatsoever to not give that option on previous phones that do support iOS 18.
One aspect that always bugs me about the iPhone, it has a tendency to saturate and modify photos into what IT thinks you want instead of what the actual photo looks like in real life.
Well I don't see the saturation on the iPhone at all, some photos are either balanced or just flat relative to samsung processing.
