Many of my friends tell me that if they wanted to edit their pics after taking them, they would have gone with a DSRL Camera and not a phone camera. That's why most people don't like the Sony Xperia phones. Phone cameras are for basic consumers and full frame or mirror less cameras for the pros. My point is, about 90% of people will go in for the more punchy colors and Instagram ready pics. Again, 90% of people don't really care much about natural photos. They juz want photos that makes them look nice
I dont know you or your age but clearly you dont know this generation let alone social media users if you dare say people just snap n go. No way. My wife has a iphone 14 pro and seeing this, there is no need to upgrade any time soon, as has been the case lately with iphone...also im surprised that there was no mention of that new not a button button.
As much as I hate apple and their iphone new releases which are minor yet effective..... Samsung has been on that same train for years now but no one calls them out for it lol. Only new things has been the Flip and fold. I dont care to see the iphone 16PM.... I want to see S25U vs S24U hell even the S23U
@@RevItRalph that would be a good comparison, i had been waiting to get rid of the curved "infinity display" and im glad to see flat screen on the S24U hopefully they dont go back. You are right that Samsung is also guilty of incremental updates now with these ultra series phones, performance has gotten a lot closer and even beat apple lately which is a first for Samsung. As anyone can see there is really not a bad choice these days in top tier phones.
If you are using an iPhone, remember that it’s literally a Samsung in disguise. The display? Samsung-made. The memory chip? Also, Samsung. So many components in your iPhone come from Samsung, and it’s wild that you’re calling Samsung 'garbage' when you're using a phone made from Samsung materials, loaded with features Samsung pioneered years ago. Not just Apple, but other major brands rely on Samsung tech: 1. Google 2. Xiaomi 3. OnePlus 4. Sony 5. Oppo 6. Realme 7. Vivo 8. Motorola 9. LG 10. Huawei (before restrictions) 11. Dell 12. HP 13. Lenovo Also let’s not forget how Apple has copied many features from Samsung over the years. It’s funny how when Samsung adopts one small feature from Apple, people freak out, but when Apple copies entire innovations from Samsung, no one bats an eye. That’s not fair to Samsung at all. Apple may be more popular in the US because of iMessage and brand loyalty, but if you look into it, Samsung has been leading in innovation for decades. Do some research, and you’ll see how much Apple has taken from Samsung. Here are just a few examples of what Samsung introduced before Apple just in case you don't know and think apple is the one that made it 1. Edge Displays 2. Multitasking 3. Customizable Widgets 4. Always-On Display 5. Fast Charging/Quick Charge 6. Wireless Charging 7. Water Resistance 8. Bixby (Samsung's assistant-while Siri was first, Bixby expanded its capabilities before Siri did) 9. Dual-Lens Cameras 10. Expandable Storage 11. Smartphone Design Elements 12. Improved Battery Technology It took Apple years just to allow users to move apps anywhere on the screen, while Samsung had many of these features for years. Samsung has also been ahead with: - Improved Low-Light Camera Performance 1 Screen Notches 2 Reverse everse Wireless Charging 3. High Refresh Rate Displays 4 Gingerprint Sensor Integration 5 Goldable Phones which Apple still hasn't done, despite the popularity and usefulness At this point, the iPhone is basically a Samsung with iOS. I use both, but I prefer Samsung because of its innovation and flexibility. So don’t call Samsung garbage.
The iPhone 48MPix sensor is actually 12MPix. They divided a single pixel into 4. On the Tony&Chelsea Northrup channel, everything is nicely explained and compared. I would be most interested in comparing the iPhone 15 pro max with 16 pro
Once you apply photograpic style and boom. Apple blows samsung. And btw apple can do photos like samsung. But Samsung cant do the same as apples natural look. Buy iphone you get the best of both worlds. Cheers

@@Raull15Samsung kind of tailor their photos to the normob who scrolls through Instagram and whose eyes are used to more saturated and contrasty pictures. Apple have always tried to market themselves at people who know about video editing and photo editing (hence some of last years pro features) so their photos are more natural. People will confidently say the more saturated colours are better but it’s largely just a result of them not really knowing about photography. Anyone can just go into the photo and install a pop filter. Apple do also include some pre-compression filter options for those who prefer more garish photos too.
I agree. And I’ve been an iPhone user for years now, and this new phone has the same picture qualities of the iPhone 15 pro. Samsung absolutely won here.

This is my opinion as a professional photographer. Both produce quality that blows me away being they are phones. iPhone looks more like a true mirrorless camera shooting raw where more work is needed. Samsung looks more artificial, I don’t know if it’s the over sharpening or color boosting but I think more work also needs to be done the opposite way, I think Samsung needs to tone down the processing going on behind the scenes. As a purist I prefer the iPhones results.
So many different opinions from Mrwhosetheboss, like ultrawide, lowlight zoom video, etc. This is why I watch your videos for unbiased reviews and comparisons.

That's an amazing and non biased comparison 👏👏, really fantastic job, I think both phones are gorgeous and powerful devices! And thank you for revealing what we can actually do with the S pen apart from taking photos and obvious, writing notes! I love to draw so drawing to images is addictive to me 😅!
Would have been nice to also see some Images using the Camera Assistant softening on the S24 Ultra, which you can get from Good Lock. I did not test this myself yet but it could have helped with the oversharpening from the Samsung
Yes, and I noticed TH-camrs who side with Apple are pushing this narrative of Cinematic mode being better on the iPhone. Yes, it is better, but it is also now the only thing that is better and a feature that hardly anyone uses.
Great review! Just about everyone takes photos with one phone or the other, and without the exact image or video to do a side-by-side comparison, a majority of the users won’t be able to tell the difference, so enjoy your S24U or 16 PM 🙂
It almost feels like a drinking game: take a sip every time the full product name is mentioned! 😂 But seriously, constantly repeating the entire name every 5-10 seconds gets exhausting pretty quickly. Why is that even necessary? We all know what we're talking about here. A little more focus on the actual features and less on the brand name would be so much better!
One aspect that always bugs me about the iPhone, it has a tendency to saturate and modify photos into what IT thinks you want instead of what the actual photo looks like in real life.
Competition fuels innovation, which is a win/win for all of us! Anyone saying one phone is blowing away the other, is just justifying their own preference. Both phones are great. Me, I’m an iPhone guy because I use Macs and the integration is great, but that doesn’t make me love the fact that other companies are making great products. Great review!
I understand your perspective on the S24 Ultra. It certainly seems like a powerful and feature-rich device. Many reviewers have praised its camera and processing capabilities. Battery life also appears to be a strong point for this model. Overall, it's generating a lot of positive buzz in the tech community.
iPhone allowing the phonographic styles is great. This takes post processing to a deeper level vs letting the phone try and handle it. This one here is a banger for Apple. Very impressed with the out of the box camera features on the iPhone
Regarding the audio mix mode, I noticed the same. As someone who has been tasked with removing background noise from interviews and documentaries in the past, to me it sounds very digital and heavy handed, like the slider is too far to the right.

One thing I have learnt from lots of people is that, most people don't like making changes to their pics or edit them. They just want a snap and go kind of phone.
No way. I can't name a single dude or dudette other than maybe my parents LMAO.... who just point n shoot. Many Photographers I know ditched their DSLR to film and snap with mobile phones like the iPhone or S24U. So your % of people is highly incorrect. Again, you can go in the iPhone and set the camera to take vivid photos to please the "Samsung phones have better color" fanbase. One setting and you can coninue to snap n go as you please without "editting" every photo.
I’ve been pretty disappointed with the iPhone camera comparisons so far and this is coming from a longtime iPhone user.

@@AnonN-sr6uu I’ve been using iPhone’s for over a decade and started with the iPhone 3G. Samsung needs serious improvements on low light because there’s no comparison there, but I don’t shoot in low light often. There’s some shoots where the iPhone is more balanced and performs better, but overall I’d say for being an older phone, the Samsung is solid and you can’t go wrong with either.
The phone was just released and Samsung has had updates. The 16 will get better the longer it is out, except the lens flare. That is garbage it is still there.

This feels like the most unbiased camera comparison of these phones i have seen so far, others tend to favor the iphone but there is no feeling of this with this review. Well done, im impressed that the s24 ultra still can keep up.
Supersaf fans here ❤❤❤
Best comparison ever...👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
WTF IT CAME OUT 7 MINUTES AGO AND IT LASTS 25 MINUTES, THE HELL ARE YOU ON ABOUT
If you are using an iPhone, remember that it’s literally a Samsung in disguise. The display? Samsung-made. The memory chip? Also, Samsung. So many components in your iPhone come from Samsung, and it’s wild that you’re calling Samsung 'garbage' when you're using a phone made from Samsung materials, loaded with features Samsung pioneered years ago.
Not just Apple, but other major brands rely on Samsung tech:
1. Google
2. Xiaomi
3. OnePlus
4. Sony
5. Oppo
6. Realme
7. Vivo
8. Motorola
9. LG
10. Huawei (before restrictions)
11. Dell
12. HP
13. Lenovo
Also let’s not forget how Apple has copied many features from Samsung over the years.
Here are just a few examples of what Samsung introduced before Apple just in case you don't know and think apple is the one that made it
1. Edge Displays
2. Multitasking
3. Customizable Widgets
4. Always-On Display
5. Fast Charging/Quick Charge
6. Wireless Charging
7. Water Resistance
8. Bixby (Samsung's assistant-while Siri was first, Bixby expanded its capabilities before Siri did)
9. Dual-Lens Cameras
10. Expandable Storage
11. Smartphone Design Elements
12. Improved Battery Technology
It took Apple years just to allow users to move apps anywhere on the screen, while Samsung had many of these features for years. Samsung has also been ahead with:
- Improved Low-Light Camera Performance
1 Screen Notches
2 Reverse everse Wireless Charging
3. High Refresh Rate Displays
4 Gingerprint Sensor Integration 5 Goldable Phones which Apple still hasn't done, despite the popularity and usefulness
At this point, the iPhone is basically a Samsung with iOS. I use both, but I prefer Samsung because of its innovation and flexibility. So don’t call Samsung garbage.
You are an absolute samsung fan and i like that
100% true 👌

so what you're saying is, iPhone is also the best Samsung phone lol
So its the best samsung phone then? pluis you dont have to deal with the dumpster fire that is scamdroid
The iPhone 48MPix sensor is actually 12MPix. They divided a single pixel into 4. On the Tony&Chelsea Northrup channel, everything is nicely explained and compared.
I would be most interested in comparing the iPhone 15 pro max with 16 pro
s24 wins for photo, portrait, and selfie. iphone for video and low light.

@@Raull15 I get you want to sound cool, but asking what he's smoking is the most lame thing you could've said. They're both some of the best phones and outplay each other in different categories and are both great options. I don't get why people take this so personally.
Although every high end phone is almost indistinguishable now - Samsung still has a processed look and inferior video quality.

Hey Android users, listen up. If you have an Android phone like the S23 or S24, don't act like it's the best thing ever, especially if it's an expensive model like the Google Pixel phones. Why? Because if it gets stolen, thieves can easily resell it and make a lot of money. On the other hand, if you have an iPhone, like the $2000 1TB model, if it's stolen, it can't be unlocked, and the parts are locked to the user's Apple ID. So, it's worth spending the extra money on an iPhone because at least if it's stolen, you can feel secure knowing that the thief won't be able to use it. But if your expensive Android phone gets stolen, the thief will make a profit and you'll be at a loss.
@@americanboy48you’ve got a valid point there, however when a thief gets hold of your device you’re already at a total loss because that part lock feature doesn’t guarantee your device back.
@@NateManganyi That's what you think. I'm from Jamaica. Thieves are not stealing iPhones again. The last time a couple thieves did steal an iPhone, they almost ended up getting killed by the owner. Yep. Got his friends with their Glock. Went hunting. Found my location. Oh my God! Damn, I tell you. It didn't end well. But the Samsung phone, they could not track it down at all. But the iPhone was a savior.
@@NateManganyi Oh, did you realize what you say? It's not a guarantee that the person will get their iPhone back. Okay, you go steal an iPhone, or if you found an iPhone lost, and you don't return it to its owner, even if they do contact you on the phone, and you don't return it, you're going to be in a lot of shit trouble. I'm just laughing right now. Trust me, it's not going to end well.
No mention of the fact that iPhone shoots 4K 120 is in Dolby Vision? That’s a headline feature.
If you use pro video on the S24 Ultra, you can shoot 4K 120.

A real comparison. ❤

Samsung is so good in term of zoom wow impressive 😮
It almost feels like a drinking game: take a sip every time the full product name is mentioned! 😂 But seriously, constantly repeating the entire name every 5-10 seconds gets exhausting pretty quickly. Why is that even necessary? We all know what we're talking about here. A little more focus on the actual features and less on the brand name would be so much better!
One aspect that always bugs me about the iPhone, it has a tendency to saturate and modify photos into what IT thinks you want instead of what the actual photo looks like in real life.
Well I don't see the saturation on the iPhone at all, some photos are either balanced or just flat relative to samsung processing.
