I love 40k media that makes you feel, and this is a tremendous example. A regular line Sergeant and his men, faithfully serving despite hellish enemies without and rampant corruption/abuse of power within, only to see their own brothers in arms; led by a captain all revered as a hero turn on them, all the while slowly succumbing to illness beyond their skill to heal. And even as the doom falls upon him, this humble soldier of the Emperor cannot make sense of any of it.
Seems like the warp echo is of a Sergent since he seems to be in a position of command (shouting orders and having access to the command room), but not high ranking (being more unformal and experiencing the same issues as his company) we can also gather that it seems that, although Nox Alpha was the break point, the Mobian 6th already had issues within long before the events of darktide with low recuitment numbers, the Karnak twins receiving special treatment and the suggestion that they shouldn't have been officers in the first place, the commissar executing squads of men on the daily, a preist that, though disliked, was respected, mysteriously disapearing and Wolfer's new priestess taking his place, along with general discontent from poor warzone planning and lack of support. I hope we hear more about the actual split btween the company, with the fate of the Sergent and the loyalist Mobian 6th forces, though they will most likey be long dead.
@@moxtordoki96Close enough, its Swagger. And sort of, but Swagger has a different pitch and lacks the accent of the Sergent, this could be just a fake voice, but swagger also seemingly has deep connections and respect, I doubt that, in the however long it was between Nox Alpha and the assault on atoma, not only did the Sergent survive and escape back to Atoma, but also create this new persona so that the traitors would not recognise him and thus be willing to trade war altering information with him.
I've been waiting for this. There was always a story behind these and I either got the same ones or was unable to figure out the Easter egg challenges to find them. To hear this offers insight into the moebian 6th that many would not have know had they just played the base game.
These echoes seem to coincide with the Moebian 6th’s turn to chaos. Nox Alpha seems to have been their last campaign where a sickness was spreading and a priest (likely someone from the Admonition Cult), came into contact with Wolfer, who was already a respected officer and cajoled him into turning on his superiors. With the ptsd, low rations and meat grinding nature of war, it was probably not hard to convince the others. Then by the time of the vox transmissions, they’re already awaiting the signal for the uprising.

Poor Moebians. You really understand why they fell
Yoo this is huge. Myself couldn't figure out how these were triggered in-game. Major props
I found one from the martyr skulls, so maybe those?
@@Pieguymysteryman yeah I mean I wanted to listen to these in-game but each found skull only seemed to play a single voice line and only once
@@BiomechanicalBrick unfortunately yeah
The hidden skulls play a random voice line each time you pick them up

Wow this is sick - love your work mate!! Keep it up
great as always, thank you for this
glad youre doing these compilations again, do you plan on doing a compilation for the female judge zealot still?
Thank you so much for all these voice line- videos mate!
Any chance you could upload the poxwalker horde spawn roars/howls too? That would be a blast~
Thanks for these!
How do you extract the sound files? I'm looking for a particular voice line and i've been unable to find anyone who have uploaded it.
Can you upload the voicelines of that one girl who gives you orders over the vox. Not the main one or the pilot. The one in the train station mission?
are you gonna do the voices that play when psyker's at high peril?
Amazing job sah!
One of you know if the sound integration in darktide is in binaural? Please :)
when do they play?
After you pick up the skulls.
