As an Ultramarines fan, I agree that they are basic but that’s a very surface-level observation. When you look that bit deeper you find a lot to love. Guilliman’s pursuit to restore the Imperium to as it was before the Heresy, having to go up against ten millennia of corruption and fervent religious zealotry. The feeling of responsibility they carry knowing they failed to stop the Siege of Terra and failed to save the Emperor. The responsibility of being the example of what it means to be an Astartes and their duty to not only the Emperor but also to its people. Plus the Roman aesthetics and cultural inspirations are just cool…also the colours of the first and second companies are just so aesthetically pleasing.
I play as a black templar just so I can role play as Grimaldus. I like Grimaldus because I saw the Helsreach fan movie. They are also literal space crusaders. Also I don’t want to be a dark angel because I know next to nothing about them.
Dark Angels are themed around Knights and more precisely Knights of Round Table, meanwhile Black Templars are crusaders which are basically catholic Knights and members of orders like Knight Templars or Teutonic Order

I wouldn't say they are "better". they are/ were the poster child of 40k games for a while from the Dawn of war games. lore wise they are kind of boring. their memes are more interesting.
HOW, just HOW is your description of White scar players so accurate. I am word for word what you said, got ADHD, no meds (been through meds dont want them anymore), hyperfixations and everything that goes with it. This level of accuracy is insane. I'm both in Aw and shock 💀
While his words are clouded by the emotions of the flesh I think I understand the meaning. He’s saying that our chapter has Daddy issues and that since Ferus died we haven’t done an anything notable. We strip away our biological components to purge weakness from ourselves. Yet our minds are our greatest weakness. The human soul is what drives action. It is the engine that powers the machine. The spark that sends the chains of logic down their path. Our chapter is so devoted to strength that we don’t do anything expect sit building ourselves up and occasionally crush our enemies when they come for us. I believe this song holds the secrets to our salvation. It’s called The flesh is weak iron hands metal song. I recommend you listen to it and heed its wisdom. To become the weapon of the soul we must first find ours again.
Imperial Fist represent… and yes. I just like they’re honest and just like irl, I wish to be impressionable as a piece of drywall as it helps me get my job right.
I appreciate very much your word on the sons of Baal, and I will add your voice and soul to the things I strive to remember when fighting off the Black Rage.
I have two preferred chapters and never could choose one over the other: White Scars and Salamander. Your descriptions were... Oddly accurate. (Even though I think there is a little Barnum effect going on here, but the video was fun to watch nonetheless)
When I played tabletop, I went with ultramarines simply because they were easy to get a handle on. No real special rules or traits to worry about, plus blue is my favorite color.
I must say being of the raven guard faction that I am very impressed and surprised with 😂😂.. When I first got into the lore of Warhammer, I did not delve too deeply before choosing my faction, which immediately was the raven guard.. You really came for us Blood Angels in terms of accuracy. I sat back and Drank this video in. Nice work 👍 Now, I have to stop the Flesh Tearers from doing Flesh Tearer things
Goddamn, as a space wolves fan I don’t think I’ve ever felt more seen. I’m generally super positive about whatever ppl play or prefer in the setting. That’s the coolest part of 40k, everyone has a faction, a niche they enjoy. As a 900-1300AD history buff Vikings are my shit and I LOVE space wolves lore and characters. There’s so much to love, so it baffles me to see so many people despise us for such arbitrary reasons, like using the word wolf a lot, or being loud and brash (it’s our whole shticks). So from the bottom of my heart, as a space wolves loyalist for the past decade, thank you, for not taking the low hanging fruit. Let it be known to all you haters out there who have a problem with the Vylka Fenrika, that your opinions mean nothing to us. As a Blood Angel fan I honestly couldn't with this more. I in real life burst out into laughter lol XD @5:04
Same man, same.
I'm iron hand but that's because I had leg problem when I was younger so cybernetics sounds awesome
Honor and courage!
These are the only horoscopes I’ll listen to
5:41 You’re welcome.
@@kazuares7212 FINALLY, SOMEONE UNDERSTANDS THE DIFFERENCE. PRAISE THE EMPEROR, I THANK HIM FOR YOUR WISDOM.

Blood Angel: "Ignore him"
As far as loyalist chapters go, Space Wolves for me. Guess Im a furry now and didnt even know it, I knew i had a beast living within me somewhere. Makes sense now
As a salamander Bulwark, according to this, I am the most chill dude

I only love Blood Angels due to them being the first Space Marine chapter I was introduced into 40k with Space Hulk Vengeance of the Blood Angels in 1995

Simultaneously glad you stuck to the theme and only did first founding chapters, and disappointed that there wasn't a note on deathwatch.
Deathwatch is not really a "chapter".
Gotta say, I really enjoy your blunt and crude humor. It's refreshing and often times very hilarious!
"starting up we have the black templars- no wait we have the guys the black templars *wish* they could be"
Dreadwing tier roast holy shit.
So White Scars are basically every video gamer. That is exactly what a gamer does.

They’re just having a communication error.

Dad of two, rogal dorn appreciator, can confirm.
Soldier, Dorn appreciator, can confirm his confirmation
As a Raven Guard fan the comment about just leaving without saying anything when my social battery runs out is painfully accurate.
You were.... surprisingly kind to Space Wolves. Thank you! lol Thank you for not taking the low hanging fruit.
For real though wolves players get shat on a lot
Because more even than Ultramarines, they are author pets.
Not just that, they suck. They screwed up royally during the Heresy and caused the Imperium more problems than it'd have without them.
@@CornyG4711i doubt it when the Blue Boys chapter master has better feats than a primarch
@@YungFozz depends on the Primarch

he constructed the two greatest fortresses to ever exist,
he commanded more victories than anyone but the Lunar Wolves(and they had their primarch longer),
he kept track of tens of billions of combatants in real-time without the need for cybernetic augmentation like Horus and Perturabo,

Blood Angels and Salamander guy here. Felt complimented and called out simultaneously. Good video :)
Awesome! Glad to meet another one here! :)
Funny thing is, My third is iron hands. And favorite primarch is Corvus Corax.
Ngl I know hardly anything about Space Marine chapters but your description of the average Raven Guard is literally me
I will now exclusively be referring to the Lion as “Young Sheldon with a great-sword", thank you for that wonderful bit of word crafting 😂
It's a ridiculous comparison.
The Lion is _far_ more humble and intelligent than that little bastard.
This video was better at being motivational than any actual motivational video I’ve ever watched. You called me out like three times and gave me way more drive at the same time lol
Formerly a Salamander, i switched my heraldry to the lesser known “Crayon Eaters”
Because being nice is well and good, but you aren’t you when you’re hungry :]
Just getting into Warhammer40k for the first time, based on your descriptions I'm a mixture between a White Scar and a Raven Guard. Thanks for starting me on the path to warhammer actualization.
Blood ravens. Best chapter. Best color scheme. Best hairesy. Best characters.
Knowlege is power. Guard it well.
If i would not be a Salamander, i would be a Blood raven, cause they are the ones that introduced me all the way back in Dawn of War 2

Blood Ravens are greatest.
I’m very new to warhammer and you nailed my favorite chapters on the head and made me question my life decisions, and also laugh my ass off at the same time. You had me wheezing.😂
Blood Ravens: no one knows much about you beside the fact you’re better than everyone at your job and if you borrow something that person is never seeing it ever again
I wouldn't say they are "better". they are/ were the poster child of 40k games for a while from the Dawn of war games. lore wise they are kind of boring. their memes are more interesting.
Peak chapter fr, surprised it wasn't mentioned

HOW, just HOW is your description of White scar players so accurate. I am word for word what you said, got ADHD, no meds (been through meds dont want them anymore), hyperfixations and everything that goes with it. This level of accuracy is insane. I'm both in Aw and shock 💀
3:47 I mean, I do voice those opinions. Because I am also a furry and disgust grants me power.
In that case, I accept you, brother. As a Salamander, I judge none other.
Dark Angel player here. Pretty accurate, I am going to kick your ass though.
i actually started liking the iron hands as they were basically loyalist iron warriors, me like machines and big boyz

They're just barely loyalist...
As a Salamander...this made my day, thank you brother. FOR THE EMPEROR!
My fav is Black Templars because they look the coolest. I have 0 clue about any of the lore of any chapter xD
Don't worry, they are the good guys
If i had to give ONLY 1 Word to describe the black templars it would be "Drip!"
As a black templar fan here i can resume it to highly religious crusader badass with drip
Your raven guard explanation was on point
Imperial Fist represent… and yes. I just like they’re honest and just like irl, I wish to be impressionable as a piece of drywall as it helps me get my job right.
I had to sub after you literally described my personality and then spoke the words "Dark Angels" 😇
Shit-the Raven Guard is spot fucking on.
I appreciate very much your word on the sons of Baal, and I will add your voice and soul to the things I strive to remember when fighting off the Black Rage.
I feel called out with what he said about Raven Guard, and I won't forget that.
My personal favorite primarch is Corvus Corax. That is all.
that gun strike transition was smooth as hell
That edit between the BT and the WS was SMOOTH, well done!
I play iron hands and my dad did indeed leave💀 bro got it way too accurate😂
I am laughing at this simply because while I don’t main white scars, my guy, you just described every ADHD person perfectly lol.
2:06 This cut was utter perfection
So to hear your description, knowing the irony that my personality matches exactly exactly what you said is outrageous 😂… see you on the field ( 🐦⬛🛡️)
I think I was complemented for being a Blood Angel. I think...
I'd say I'm a Ravenguard, but more social and forgiving and with the added ADD of a White Scar.
Blood Ravens, you may not have been covered in the video, but don't worry, just take the best parts and pretend they were always yours.
You really came for us Blood Angels in terms of accuracy.
I sat back and Drank this video in. Nice work 👍
Now, I have to stop the Flesh Tearers from doing Flesh Tearer things
Im Tactical Ultramarine, of course i always ask a teacher about homework.
It's because you're looking out for your fellow students. You can't let that hag give them all zeroes the next day because she dropped the ball.
okay but that transition between dark angels and white scars was fire
The wolves are cool, if you don’t think so take it up with the inquisition or some shit.
There’s a lot to make fun of as a tsons fan but the space wolves also have a lot of really cool stuff going for them. They need to redesign the wulfin though, Jesus Christ
@@dr.stronk9857 Omfg yeah the wulfen are so fucking ugly.
