tbh, one more day would not have been that bad at all, if they just didn't absolutely refuse to bring Peter and MJ back together, decades later. we don't love spider-man because he struggles with life. yes, that's a part of it, but more of a byproduct of the real reason. we love him because he is us. he has the same struggles and triumphs when he's not in the suit. and still struggles with those things in his head, even when in the suit. he is a better version of us. an us we aspire to be. but marvel has forgotten about the triumphs part of the formula, and just turned him into struggle porn that even Miura would be proud of. OMD was honestly and interesting story idea. it's hated because it's essentially become the legacy of ASM.
