if you only knew how her ex husband was an emotionally abusive and disturbing man. she's pretty shaken up from that marriage. but you're right - she's such a down to earth woman who just wants to cook you a great meal with no fuss no muss.
The roast lamb is looking great and you cooked it perfectly and cut it up off the bone where it was made into a delicious meal with the vegetables you used and gave your family a delicious meal to eat.
am i flipping through episodes to find nigella when she was younger and closer to my age? yes. am I doing this to live out some sort of fantasy? maybe. is it impeding on me learning actual cooking skills: no. therefore all is right with the world, please carry on
She most likely was when this was filmed. She had just load her husband to throat cancer during production leaving behind his 2 little children. You can see the sadness behind her eyes at times during these early episodes. I believe it was her husbands idea to produce this also.
I agree. There’s a nervous energy to her presentation in this series, with words anxiously flying out of her mouth like a thesaurus on fire. I prefer Julia Child’s or Lidia Bastianich’s more relaxing manner. I cook to unwind, not to continue my workday.
She is not even marinating the lamb. Throws just water in the tin rather than using stock. There are so many tasteful possibilities missed there. I guess her lamb finally does not have much taste.
Wouldn't it be nice if she had her own catalog as well? That way we could get all the beautiful equipment! LOVELY 😍
Those "don't be timid" eyes 1:51
What a lucky bastard to have her as a wife. She's the very definition of beauty and honest woman.

@@dannysimion absolutely tragic story, lost her first loving husband to cancer and straight into that beast's mouth -.-
This looks delicious! You should come back and do more videos. I do enjoy how you cook and explain things for us, very down-to-earth.
I wish she was making more videos I love her accent and recipes

She looks very sad..I can "read it"from her eyes...wish her happy life and lots of strenght
Anime girl how do you “read” that? just curious
Her first husband had cancer during the filming of Nigella Bites in 1999 and died in 2001 when she was filming season 2.
You are the most Beautiful lady in any recent century.

Why are you rushing its making me anxious
she cooks like she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown
So basically she cooks like the rest of us

I guess her lamb finally does not have much taste.
The flavor is in the fat.
Again who cares what you think , move on
Goodness. 12 to 15 hours, its probably cooked at so low, a temperature your get food poisoning.
😒😬 you cook it slowwwww until it is DONE. Undercooking is not the same thing....good grief.
You ensure it is cooked at it is at temperature. The meat is well done, not medium or rare
Dale Baker That’s just overnight... then a lovely lunch!
the camera and editing is horrible
