When I listen to her I feel comforted, such a gorgeous human inside and out
I love Nigella. I don't, however, understand why people make rude comments. We all do things differently. I'm from Alabama. I have never tasted some of the things she cooks but I love trying new things. My pigs in a blanket are not the same but hers look so good I'm trying them. Be nice. If you can't, go away.

I can't imagine anybody being rude to her. I haven't eaten or cooked half of what she cooked but, she is a lovely person with a cheeky personality. I also love that she has tons of books.

I live in a rural area and do throw potatoes in the yard fire to cook, also a fireplace or wood stove is a good place to cozy up for a hotdog roast, smores, and even fire-baked potatoes :) When the weather outside is frightening

Yes Halloumi... it’s 🇨🇾🇨🇾🇨🇾a Cypriot cheese from Cyprus please....
also if you want it less briny ...wash under water for a few seconds before using in recipes...just as a matter of interest .. it freezes very well... just make sure it defrosts completely...
Squeaky cheese, as it’s known in our house! Love it. But we don’t put chilli on everything as Nigella seems to - we have it a wrap with iceberg lettuce and a squeeze of lime.
For someone that never have tasted this cheese, what does it taste like?
@Asa-wv1zb salty, mostly, with a similar after taste to feta, since they're both sheep cheeses. It's much milder in halloumi, though, and it most notably has a squeaky texture when you chew it
This was the episode where I learned how to spatchcock. I finally found it.
I love how she describes Haloumi as a Cypriot cheese on another episode and a Greek cheese on this one lols
Pecan nuts are divine and filled with vital nutrients and anti cancerous properties. It is a shame though that they're so expensive and unavailable to a wider public, and posh people complain why more working class teens eat fast food and drink coca cola as opposed to consuming healthy snacks like pecan nuts for whose price one can feed a family of four.

i don't eat meat, no dairy, that amount of butter she uses for cooking ha ha terrifying , yet I love watching her show, the way and what she says, how she moves around the kitchen. Everything looks easy and done with such a pleasure... wonderful show
The potatos cooked in hot coals are a camping staple.
It is something you get to do as a kid, throwing foil wrapped potatos into a camp fire.
Highly recommend
I added the lemon juice to the olive oil and soused the chillie in it. They became tangier yet rounded and less spicy at the same time(counterintuitive, I know).
