Muralitharan. Why you are bringing Hindi in to the picture. We are music lovers. Music has no language. All are different efforts. lets not split our mind with language. Coming to your point, what you told was never happened and will not happen as well. Because of there is a gap at that time, Hindi music was at the top of the list due to variety of great songs. After Ilayaraja started music and giving different folk tunes, we Tamil people started listening to Tamil songs. Still Hindi was also giving music in parallel. Lets not over rate one language and push down other language again. What fun and proud we are getting by saying this, other than hatred and self proud?

The QFR resounding success is its musicians not to demean the singers. The orchestra at all times and with all singers give a cutting and scoring edge. Coming to this particular song mr karthic Raman gave all his efforts. Somewhere the subtle and mettle of this song is the words nenaivile pudhu sugam, where somewhat the voice is coarse and to be mellowed down a little. Rest is superb.
