Thanks for the video , it was pretty close to my set-up - biggest difference was how the handbrake mech is mounted in cab , mine has bolts that hold it in from the side (not easy like yours , i'd be better off taking the drivers seat out for access but i managed to wiggle the cable out after bending the tab out the way , bit of a pain getting it back in but not to bad)
MUST BE NICE TO WORK ON A RUST FREE CAR - MINE LOOKS LIKE A FUKIN BOAT ANCHOR , 1997 90 SERIES (UK) - actually snapped the bolt off on the top diff mounting bracket today , have to see how i'm gonna attach that tmrw - snapped off another bolt on one of the actuators behind the backing plate - also the other mount/guide on the diff rusted off some time ago - i think half my guide/mounting system will be a series of zip ties soon.
Can almost say the same, with a lot of patience I managed to get the mounting bolts without snapping any, a lot of in and out and patience, but the dam pins to the rear brake housing are seized as fuck, can't get them to budge, even putting a small screwdriver through the hole I can't turn em already broken a few little screwdrivers, don't know what to do 😂
@@cainmcintyre1431 sorry, pull what through? The cable? There’s plenty of room underneath to get around everything pretty easily. If you have trouble getting up to the cab, you can use a bit of plastic tongue or even tie a string on to the old one before you pull it out.
