hi, I don't mean to sound rude, but the video seem to miss out you initial pulling the injector out... did it really come out that easy or did it put up a fight.... also can I ask why you were changing these (I have a rattle/knock when cold, just wondered if you were experiencing the same) Thanks
Hi Graham, not rude at all, yes you’re right and they weren’t very easy to remove at all. The problem was they were leaking so you get all the carbon crud build up that makes them difficult to remove. I’d be surprised if the injectors were causing a rattle though. Hope you get sorted!
If you can manage to remove the injector then yes the seals are the easy bit to change as long as they don’t get stuck seated in the engine. Do your best to clean where it seats without scratching it up, I usually use a microfibre cloth wrapped round a screwdriver.
Thankyou thankyou thankyou for your time.
Will share this on our social media, if thats ok of course.
That’s absolutely fine thank you 😊
Can i ask why the inlet injection cover has melted away .
Usually when an injector leaks there is exhaust gasses leaking out around that injector. That can/ will blow away or melt that plastic cover.
Salut, stii unde este releul bujiilor incandescente? Mulțumesc.
Any issues on start up after new injectors fitted?
Hi Mike, no no issues at all 😁
@@IAMASPANNER Hi do you remember tightening torque of those bolts for clamps that holds the injector?
@@Peter5on. call ford
So you just took the old ones out and put new ones in? There was no need to code them or anything?
Yes, no coding required
Thank you 🙏
You’re very welcome!

@@IAMASPANNER Hi Tolly, thanks for the reply, can I ask what symptoms you had?
Diesel fumes coming into the car, the plastic cover was replaced as it had deteriorated and then the injectors had to be reseated.
@@IAMASPANNER did you use any pullers to remove them? Thanks
@@mickborthwick3814 Just carefully used mole grips on the metal part of the injector. Fortunately I've never had one completely seized so far.
I have a leaking injector seal on cylinder 2 . Are seals easy to remove and replace ?
