MightyMattman90 to be fair I have not seen a single guide or punish video that has got this right I don’t think that many people know about it. A video idea could be be to test all HP of characters or a feat guide as a lot of new or existing players don’t fully understand the actual HP difference between classes. Great video.

Another positive is it gives me more interaction with viewers which is always welcome. It is an interesting video idea and something I may look into. Thanks! 🙂 Well it's important to get the right information out there! Deadly sadly doesn't work well for Warlord but Flesh Wound isn't bad, keeps you alive a little longer in ganks but bear trap is incredibly strong so it's hard to pass up.
im practically rep 8 with warlord and I wish that he gets buffs as well, to anyone who's thinking about playing warlord at a high rep, try to play stupidly at certain points, like back lighting into heavy, sometimes you can manage to get the hit, this is especially helpful when fighting turtling players who might try to deflect you.
Warlord is such a cool design, I really would have liked the devs to fix his combat issues instead of piling on his damage. The testing grounds coming soon may be promising though.
Thanks for making this video I have a friend who got me addicted and I'm recently getting good at the game to where I can handle my own against an entire enemy team, or at least stall them.... And with that being said when I'm with my friend .... Let's just say it's satisfying as hell to take down an entire enemy team with him. Edit: I know it's for Honor but sometimes honor goes out the window when your Warlord.
As am I. I hope the video was helpful to you. 🙂 Warlord has received a few changes since I made this though. The major ones being that his Zone has less recovery now, light attacks are enhanced which means that he deals chip damage with lights and has better chain access. And finally the buff to the 'Punch Through' Feat gives it significantly more block damage making it Warlord's optimal tier 3 choice.

My personal favorite thing to do after a parry with warlord is to do the bash parry punish into a headbutt. It almost always instantly puts them out of stamina.
I have a question, at 2:20, I noticed there’s a bar or something to indicate when to press light attack. Is that something you edited in or is that a feature?
It's a feature of the training arena. In the training arena, pause the game and select arena settings under the arena tab there's a box you can tick called 'Opponent Timing Feedback'.
I do like the perk. The reason I say it can be passed over in the video is the stamina changes that happened. Stamina no longer drains any further when out of stamina, instead anything that would deplete stamina merely stops it regenerating for a second instead. This means that you will be in the out of stamina state for less time in general, with this in mind it's not a stretch to drop fresh focus for other perks if you had your eye on more than 3.

This let's him continue his chain and gives him better chip damage making the Punch Through feat worth considering. Also side lights are buffed to 15 damage from 13. Top light finisher will be 18 down from 20 and they've increased the tracking for his block & stab from all guard.
I appreciate you watching it. 🙂 Though sadly I do think this video is a little outdated now. Warlord recieved some changes that significantly improved him. All lights are now enhanced and 500ms. Zone attack recovery has been shortened. Now has better tracking on block and stab also.
Warlord is getting nice buffs, sadly he still needs help with openers and full block. BP and Jormungandr are having their chain bashes fixed so that a buffered guard switch won't prevent their opponents from dodging. This is more like a bug fix and won't really nerf them at all. As for Raider, to be honest I don't play Raider but removing stunning tap wasn't necessary. They could have reduced it's damage and stun duration to balance it, removing it leaves the top light finisher as a dead move and feels more like a business over balance decision. Raider will still be strong, just not oppressive now.

All guard is still weak and lacks consistent punishes, a buff like having the stab after headbutt or all guard function as a chain starter would have been better as well as a feint option for board and blade.

Basically that stamina would pause instead of draining when out of stamina. So if your bashed or any other action while out of stamina only pauses your stamina regen instead of draining it further. In a nutshell, you don't stay out of stamina as long as before. As for Kensei, fresh focus is still a very strong perk. I would say use fresh focus or the tier 1 feat fast recovery. Not both. Since you already have fresh focus I'd just use body count as your tier 1 feat, saves you changing your gear. Unless you play elimination or tribute, then use fast recovery.

You say warlord isn't an overall good character, while this may be true, I've not seen one person use warlord in the past few months, meaning that they may not have enough experience versing warlords to predict me
A common side effect of underplayed heroes. Warlord sadly doesn't have a great deal going for him, he hits hard and can trade effectively too but he doesn't have much to bring to team fights and only really has headbutt as reliable pressure, that only grants him one attack and no chain pressure. Lackluster all guard too. The good news is that all of these flaws were made clear to the devs in the testing grounds so Warlord may be getting a better kit in the near future.
Warlord got some nice buffs, his playstyle is more or less the same, now you just have easier access to your chains with enhanced lights not being stopped by blocking.
The warlord max punish from out of stamina throw when you’re guard is side is to throw forward then top light side heavy for a total of 57 damage.
You know honestly at this point it's something of a meme that I always get something wrong. 😅

The buff really helped him out. Undodgeable chains and unblockable block and stab just makes sense for this donny
He's been rocking top tier ever since. But that's mostly due to short recoveries and a zone with a huge hitbox.

Definitely a helmet. Warlord has a few helmets that have the pony tail attachment. I'm only rep 4 with warlord so they should drop fairly early.

In tier lists, he's damn near the very top.
Maybe they can buff his headbutt so he too can miss his bashes like Black Prior and Conqueror and be near punish free.

Unfortunately it's a little outdated. There is still a lot of it that rings true now but warlord has been changed a few times since.
