I've played around a lot with the format of the guide and my videos tend to get longer and longer and I don't want to bloat them out unnecessarily or deter viewer attention away so I tend to stick to a round or two. These videos could be over 30-40 minutes otherwise!

I had a feeling this was possible but I was struggling to net the timing down, I found it much easier with side throws and the unlock method to nail the timing. Good advice. 🙂

I can't do the trial 5/7 Serpent Smite Feint into Jotunn Grudge. I keep trying to parry asap after doing the dodge attack, the game keeps telling me "wrong input" and I get hit without parrying. I'm following the prompts... this is mald inducing.

In ganks if the Jorm can hold off on a hammer slam, their teammates can rack up damage super fast. This is precisely why they removed this effect from Valkyrie's full block tackle.

Didn't realise this was a punish. I've tested it and it seems to only work for a parry. You have to wait until the fall before throwing a light into bash. Sorry for the late reply, kept meaning to test this but work and forgetfulness. 😅

The game's speeds are measured in ms instead of frames. It's how the devs and community understand it. Everything would look super slow by comparison if we measured it in frames, FGC vets would scoff at neutral options being 30 frames at start up.
Umm, when you throw him on the ground and do that 80 damage combo, what stops you from just continuing the 30 damage knockdown over and over again? Does the timing not work right for that?
400ms hyper armour on Heavy openers, not quite heavy on red as light attacks will interrupt. Hitokiri coined the term as she used to have 300ms armour across the entire duration of her heavies, no one has heavy on red anymore.

Unfortunately I'm afraid I will have to disagree with you. Light spam is a ticket to death, assasins in particular adore the light finishers for deflects. Any hero with dodge attack eats up Jorm at the mere sight of orange at neutral too. Jorm is best played trying to bait parries and dodges so he can bash punish, that can't be done by hitting light, light or light heavy. You need to feint and pay attention to the opponent. The light finishers are a conditioning tool to prevent dodges for bashes to work or to punish those that try to dodge bashes. At higher levels of play Jorm won't be selected simply because the hero isn't strong.
Losing is just a part of the game and a very important one. Try to record your duels and watch them back to see where you might have gone wrong, it will help you practice and perhaps pick up on some bad habits you may have with the character.

For the most part yes. Hyper armour start up on forward dodge heavy is now 700ms as opposed to 100ms and all of the stamina draining moves now deal less stamina damage that what's shown in the video.

Jorm isn't the best hero. He lacks in many areas but stalling is his strong point. There's a bug that activates when Jorm hammer slams in revenge with his tier 2 active. That plus perks make him very tanky. Basically to stall your goal is to just block, dodge and counter gb until you can revenge hammer slam.

Not quite the same kind of balance there. Whilst I think the heavy finishers unbalancing needs to go, Jorm needs help as the hero is pretty underwhelming.
Jormungandr is actually on the weaker side of the roster. Once you're familiar with what he/she can do, you'll find they really struggle in a few match ups and don't offer much in team game modes outside of very specific ganks.
@@infilz5252 Jormungandr can still work effectively but just has difficulty compared to other heroes. Things like Jotuun surge don't do much from neutral at high levels of play. Don't be discouraged from using the hero though, I main PK and she's not topping any tier lista either!

You're right about other fighting game move typing. Injustice and MK use 1,2,3,4. Street Fighter uses short, forward, strong and fierce. Odd community but a fun one. 🙂

After an heavy parry you can use your neutral bash to deal 35 stamina damage, though that does not guarantee any followup lights

Sometimes when I use a heavy finisher I get parried I dont know why it happens it's meant to be unblockable unless it's a glitch
Unblockable means you can’t block the attack so parrying is just about the only solution

The Hammar Slam restores your opponents stamina when it hits them. This is to prevent the combo from being repeatable.

So the reknockdown doesn't work anymore with the untarget, light heavy, and then knockdown finisher?

Yeah, they are a little finicky to pull off but certainly possible. Not a design choice I stand by personally.

I see people who are gods at antiganking and wont die, but i can hardly get a kill let alone survive even a 2v1

Jormungandr isn't a hero I'll be returning to anytime soon. Not a favourite of mine.

And Ubi wonders why no one thinks they understand balance... they literally put in a hero that's all about unbalancing people, hue.
Not quite the same kind of balance there. Whilst I think the heavy finishers unbalancing needs to go, Jorm needs help as the hero is pretty underwhelming.

This character seems a bit too strong to me :(
Jormungandr is actually on the weaker side of the roster. Once you're familiar with what he/she can do, you'll find they really struggle in a few match ups and don't offer much in team game modes outside of very specific ganks.

@@infilz5252 Jormungandr can still work effectively but just has difficulty compared to other heroes. Things like Jotuun surge don't do much from neutral at high levels of play. Don't be discouraged from using the hero though, I main PK and she's not topping any tier lista either!
@@Mattman_90 I like this character in fact I was a bite concerned by how it was simple to win with this character compared to Zan hu for exemple, that I try to love to.
@@infilz5252 Jormungandr has a game plan built into the kit. They're both capable characters though I do think ZhanHu edges out the win over Jorm.

@@Mattman_90 back 1 meaning back in walking backwards and one meaning square, i think this way of typing moves is only used in fighting games like tekken for example
@@denis8906 Ah I thought it could be that, then I thought you meant mouse 1 which would be light. Yeah Jorm does have that neutral kidney shot but it's very exploitable by dodge attack characters.
You're right about other fighting game move typing. Injustice and MK use 1,2,3,4. Street Fighter uses short, forward, strong and fierce. Odd community but a fun one. 🙂

@@Spork. That's fair. I make a lot of guides and had a few requests for Jorm. Some people do find characters easy, I do for the most part, but sometimes it's helpful for others to have a video guide.
