Thank you, I really appreciate the feedback. I come from the same golden age and when I started I think I really wanted to go the whole 'let's play' angle but I was really hooked on For Honor because I'd never played an online game quite like it or wanted to keep playing. The goal isn't to make money but really to learn as a creator and regain the confidence and enjoyment from sharing ideas and videos. I like the idea of feeling part of a community and watching that grow was the best part of the channel, interacting with people. I think I'll start with For Honor but if a game comes along that I want to share; I will for the love of sharing it. I'm trying to keep my expectations of myself simple for the time being as I feel like I am starting again from the beginning and that is important as it strips away the process back down to the initial reasons for starting in the first place, going back to basics for why I started the channel in the first place is a perspective and philosophy I believe I need to adhere to in order to grow as a creator and as a person. As for the discord server, I will try to re-establish myself a little more on TH-cam and get into the rhythm of content creating again before I promote the server in videos though I will have this particular video announced in there as I feel it was a necessary video to make before jumping back in.

Thank you brother. I wish I knew how to get passion back, but it has to start with just taking that step, we both did it before and I have to believe it can be done again. I know all too well about not being satisfied with your own work and performance, but you have to understand you will always be your own worst critic, you know how to hit you where it hurts the most. I always enjoyed your content and still have massive thumbnail envy of your videos. I hope you're well my friend and thank you.

Thank you! Appreciate the feedback and comments. Yeah I've noticed that you can sneak in a crouch jab before the launch combo, I keep forgetting to do it and I think my brain just goes on auto pilot. Need to use drive rush more and learn my frame data. Good ol' wake up Super. You expect it but never expect it. I should have paid attention to the meter..... Bollocks. xD

Yeah I was learning the hard way. Force of habit from Super turbo where some sweeps were cancelable. Appreciate the advice and feedback. 🙂

Haven't played Gweelay outside of SF2. Charge characters always struck me as being difficult.

I've always enjoyed and respected your content. You are the best of us all, you united the entire community under a banner of true resolve and for a needed cause. I'm glad For Honor still does something for you even if it is mainly financial. Sadly the game is moving away from skillful application into forcing reads on too much. Fights feel like a scramble now. For the time being I want to enter the world of fighting games but I'll be partaking in other things too. Shame we didn't get to play together. Keep up the Good Fight!

@MightyMattmanGaming we still can, my friend! Our time differences is the most difficult challenge. It's currently 11:00 am here. I believe we have an 8 hour difference? We can do some brawls, or even other games. I've been getting back into Battlefield 2042.

@@KonrockProductions You know I've a friend who's been telling me to check that out. Perhaps it's time. Yeah the time difference is the major issue. However we can find a way to circumvent that.

I'd love to start streaming. I'll have to invest in getting a proper set up for it but I'd certainly give it ago. I really need to give Tekken a go.

For Honor has come a long way forward in recent years. I do feel they may have strayed a little too far in some regards to balance. Capcom knew what they were doing with Juri and her new animations. Ive always loved fighting games particularly Street Fighter so it will be nice to jump in and take that game seriously. I understand the anxiety side of it, For Honor started giving it me at once to the point of being unable to bring myself to queue for PvP. The FGC is a wonderful community and one I hope to contribute to in the future. I'll happily practice with a friend when the game releases. Hopefully we can have some games. 🙂

There are and I agree. You can tell when people don't enjoy something and I can't make content if I'm not being genuine with my audience.

Tekken is becoming a popular suggestion. Gonna have to buckle down and learn. I'm excited for Tekken 8.

That means a lot. I'm glad that my excitement for the fighting game genre is shared! I haven't played Tekken since the ps1 but Tekken 8 looks incredible. Might have to put some hours into 7. I'd love to cover lots of fighting games.

@@Mattman_90 i heard you talk about dropping for honor for fighting games and it was like i was looking in a mirror LOL. im excited to see what you do fam. if you wanna play something like for honor but actually interesting, maybe give samsho a look. its getting rollback soon and its very slow paced

@@Toasty236P Rollback would be great for that. Samsho is the ultimate game of footsies, the whiff punishes are quite dire if I recall.

If Heathmoor calls to us one day, I'll pick up the sword again. In the meantime thank you for your words. Can't express how excited I am to start up a new fighting game and I'm glad that the idea of content is equally exciting. I remember you playing DBFighterz, maybe you can join me on SF6!

Thank you ❤. I actually loved the core combat update and still do. Some balance changes I think recently haven't been to the games benefit, dodge attacks being heavily punishable as default has rippled across the cast negatively, Tiandi's rework contains exactly the same mix up that made people complain about Orochi's original rework, breach is a mess etc. The game is unique and will always be special to me. But for the time being I'm not having fun with it and I can't force myself to make content that I don't believe in. Viewers deserve better.

It's not boring so to speak. Just for me currently un-fun. For Honor has shifted a bit too far with current changes that make the game feel unbalanced if you're playing a non meta hero. For a game that celebrates player expression through customisation, it's punishing to play those characters if they lack the necessary competitive tools.

@@Mattman_90 I love Nuxia and Nobushi's design because im a sucker for the traditional Asian makeup and hairstyles, gracefulness etc. She just gathers dust because i got tired of getting bonked by gambles when i use a trap. If I'm honest i can't help but think Aramusha boop is just a better trap.

@@Feetism I have never thought of it that way but Aramusha's Ring the Bell does function better for that kind of purpose. I'm a huge fan of Nuxia's design too, and since her introduction she's always kind of lagged behind in popularity and viability. I really hope that the dev team get to work and come up with something that resolves her issues.

I honestly hate video games for this specific reason. Im not trying to be disrespectful but do you think that we care ??? It does not matter. This debat does not matter. If you are trying to prove that you are better than this jackasss player then congrats ... it does not matter. Everything became a competition of who's better in this world there is no fun anymore.
