So what do you think happened at Boo? Soviet forces North of the river, facing South, and Swedish forces South of the river, facing North with (seems to me) obvious signs of having engaged each other.
There are no bullet impacts anywhere North or South, only East and West, the same directions the destroyed runners came from. If the Russians and Swedish did exchange fire across the bridge, we would find bullet impacts facing each end of the bridge. What I am confident happened is the Russians and Swedish at Boo established a two way checkpoint to try holding the river, only to be ambushed by a group of Runners.
In the barn are two dead Resistance members who were all shot in the back, with a destroyed Runner facing them. If it was the Russians who killed those two, then why was the destroyed Runner so interested in what would be already dead bodies?
Of course this is merely my own theory and two sense after thorough investigation of that area, hopefully Landfall brings us some answers.
That place is another of those scenes where the early game and latest additions don't really match, similar to how you get out of the starter island right after the invasion yet South Coast region is now full of stuff that is supposed to happen two months later. Boo had only few runners patrolling there, despite the east side of the village hiding a military storage. The fields on the west and north side of the river though, those were regularly patrolled by large number of hunters, tanks and harvesters, as the machines had a tendency to get stronger as you move north. I believe that is meant to suggest the military and FNIX class machines were following the retreating humans while the weaker prototypes were left behind with only few military class machines as support.
Now we got Soviet defensive position aimed to the south, which would make sense if they had come to assist Sweden right when the invasion started, but not if they have machines behind them as they would when they actually arrive. If there had been a major Soviet push into the islands, then there should be more troops and less surviving machines in the northern regions. And if the machines made a counterattack and killed everyone in Boo, why aren't there destroyed machines?
Anyways, I wonder which Swedish group was in Boo, the regular civilians(who had been trained to fight as per the backstory) trying to escape north but Soviets attacked them for some reason? Locals thought the Soviets are the invaders(as early on nobody knew what was happening, including the Swedish military itself) and attacked them? One of the resistance groups wandering around? Humans siding with FNIX?
Yea, that last one, note how almost all the bunkers and such have doors that can only be operated by humans yet there are runners and sometimes hunters on the other side? FNIX could just have put ticks on people to force them to co-operate, or hold the kidnapped civilians hostage, or some people might work for it just for promise of letting them live and get their pick of loot.
I feel like operation Lynx is the name of the new machine. If it does have 2 forms then it may act like a lynx and "crawl" while approaching enemies then "pounce" and change into a larger presence. I believe there is some kind of sci-fi camo (whether that might be an "invisibility" device or some kind if device that makes FNIX think you are also a FNIX machine) that will hide the lynx and thats what Frederick uses to do things like sneak around the place without being detected.
Also if they are more collectables with this update what do you think they will be. Like the concept. Just like the bottles with letters, what other concept can they use? Maybe Russian radio backpacks off of soldiers? Cypher codes that connect to another collectable and making it a puzzle would be awesome

The Russian update really suprised me, as I am Russian myself. I can confirm that the robots do speak Russian: **"ПОИСК ЦЕЛИ"** - Searching for Target. [Linx alert line.]
As for the 1st Sergei transition, I heard only **Приём, Приём.** Russian for "Come in, Come in' [In radio comms.]
The Boxes with **"Детали Оборудования"** say "Pieces of Equipment / Equipment Pieces."
very interesting. while you were describing the morse code based messages did you look at the way the were worded? To my knowledge about the Soviets they never used the words commander and chief as reference to the general secretary. That may help with understanding my hypothesis too.
Heres what i think could happen building on some of your ideas. the soviets set up their main bases on the bridge coming from the mainland Sweden in the marshlands (same bridge that was destroyed. on the mission of recovering of the anti tank unit) they set up a foot hold there. possible missions from the update may look like advanced recon or base set up (almost like the recurring base building mission). a possible other connection with the NATO forces could be a naval invasion with the remaining Swedish armed forces on the capture of key naval bases. (putting it like this could bring back missions in any of the DLC's of Finx's bases that the player may have destroyed my have to be searched again or destroyed again because of possible repairs.) and my final idea to this and last alternative would be a Soviet Para-trooping invasion into the island. Same idea as the first idea in pretending to missions. but in my mind this hypothesis is very unlikely.
BTW thx for your feed back on the last comment i left you. Your doing great with how you set up a video and how you poetry events. Sorry for this long one. hopefully in the future we could talk about possibilities on other events in Gen Zero. Again your doing great I hope you do well.

im glad to see you push out a video on this so quicly and the landfall update is soviet baced. i have a few new prototype ammo types ive ben working on and coding for the last week. and i have a meating later today, in which iwill be showing the team .
Have yet to complete the main quest line, done the base defense missions several times over, enough to get the reaper in the that region. Which brings me to might next point, I have yet to face him, not that I believe that I can not. I know I will die maybe twice. I just do not want to lose the fact that I have a reaper and I do not want to complete the game I do not want it to end. I am at the point I can not carry any more, my box is full and my resource box is full as well.

Super hyped for the Landfall Update!. I think that the Lynx Project is going to be a semi-bounty hunter type enemy. Something that you'll randomly encounter throughout the game. Or at least I think that'd be really cool. Also, I don't think Ringfort Fredrick is a Soviet spy originally. I think he is Fredrick Holberg, as we never found his body, and I think Fredrick Holberg is someone FNIX wouldn't want to keep alive. And He would want to display Fredrick's body, as a sort of symbolic victory. At the very least, we should have found his body, lying in his home, by his computer, as FNIX would have wanted to eliminate Fredrick as quickly as possible. However, at the time of the ringfort, I believe he is working as a Soviet operative, believing he is helping his fellow Swedes but is actually an unwitting pawn in their games. Furthermore, if Fredeick had been wanting to justescape FNIX he probably would have fled to Himfjall, thinking FNIX wouldn't have as much influence there. The fact that he made his way to the Ringfort, the main seat of FNIX's opposition, is fairly suspicious. Or, a thought occurs to me as I'm writing this, what if Ringfort Fredrick is Fredrick Holberg, but FNIX has brainwashed him (I know it sounds cheesy but bear with me), FNIX knows about the Ringfort. And he wouldn't just leave it, he would want to get at least one operative inside. And Fredrick Holberg, as a behind-the-scenes director, wouldn't be known by the general populace. So he wouldn't arrouse suspicion from anyone who knew him, as they are mostlikely dead. Something I would love for them to add is an easier way to get resources. I'm actually really low on pvg ammo. Any advice would be welcome and appreciated. I'll update this comment if I come up with any more theories.

That is right in the farmlands near stora dyrbo just a bit north from the airport! It shows as a huge circle on the map and always has spicy fights :D

Hey Tenebris, I was just doing some farmlands region level grinding, got the region to level 21 with 10+ ex, I had a massive firefight and checked the map and the region had dropped to level 18 and I had 8k xp in farmlands.. I’m not sure what’s happened, have you seen that before? I did kill a rival during the fight
Killing a tival negatively impacts your score always dude so to farm high level regions you need to avoid killing rivals at all costs! Been that way since the get go, some dont like it but i enjoy the challenge myself :D
@@TenebrisInfinite Ahh see I didn’t know that, this is the first time I’m doing it. Thanks for explaining it! It was on level 21 and I thought I’d destroy a rival and because the region was level 21 the Reaper might spawn but it just put me to level 18 😂 So annoying!

También en la isla himfjall hay una misión secundaria en donde encuentras unos gemelos asesinados de la misma manera que este soldado ruso, 1 tiro por detrás de la cabeza. Al terminar la misión hay un mensaje que encuentras que dice "Estamos cansados de jugar, Daniel" posiblemente esté trabajaba en el FOA4 y Daniel no consiguió la información que se le mandó a obtener por lo tanto se cansaron de esperar y mejor lo asesinaron. Puede que tenga relación con todo lo demás.
I kinda gave up on the game when all the xbox updates kept getting postponed. now i am trying to play catch up and it is challenging to say the least. to be honest i am complete out of the loop of the game. i knew this would probably happened.everyone else's game progressed except the xbox version. now we are left out in the dark trying to figure where the game play is leading and has been since everyone else got updated.
So I've had an idea for a very long time, even before the soviets appeared on the map It's a bit far fetched but it could make sense in the grander picture.

The USSR/Soviet Union has managed to establish contact and allied themselves with FNIX, let me explain why
It's now early 1990 (or very late 1989) and the Soviet Union is just 2 years away from collapsing, the USSR government and Kremlin are aware of this and wants to try to find ways to prevent the collapse of glorious communism.
They first tried to "aid" Sweden with it's problem so that they could potentially use Sweden for financial support later on since
"Privet Comrade Sweden. We helped you with problem, yes? Now comrade, you help us with problem."
*Calm*
But it didn't go that smoothly and they ended up with a lot of bodies on foreign soil.
*Panic*
That's when they started investigating who was in control of the machines and eventually found FNIX and managed to established contact
"Privet Comrade FNIX. We help you with problem and you help us, yes?"
FNIX agreed since it would get access to the researching, developmental and manufacturing capabilities of the USSR while the soviet get some safety in form of machines to oppress it's people and put new pressure on those pesky NATO dogs
*calm again*
- This could explain why the soviet had the knowledge of the facility and the tech to make the device to "disable" the machines
So for the Soviet they would then have a massive new machine army that NATO could only dream about and a hold over Sweden which could then be turned into a pro soviet puppet state
This didn't go as planed because of you, the player.
*Panic again*
Since the player or players started to destroy facilities, jammers and other infrastructure that FNIX was using, FNIX informed the soviet about you and told them how they could get rid of you.
*Calm yet again*
But FNIX is intelligente and isn't really interested in glorious communism so It has other plans that it works on in secret. FNIX is using this blind trust the soviet has for it to secretly corrupt the soviet military structure in order to expand it's own reach.
Now let's get back to topic.
FNIX provided the Device to the soviet so they could send it to you, but at the same time FNIX couldn't just shut down the jammers so that soviet could contact you, that would be to suspicious.
So as your path of destruction continued, FNIX started to gain an interest in you and your ability to always come out on top regardless of what FNIX sent at you.
The plan was to get you to use the device in the facility which would get rid of you and a lot of the Intel that Sweden had, consequently pushing their research back years.
This is what the Soviet union thinks happened
*Very calm*
But when it was time for the curtain to fall, instead of tricking you into thinking you had finally disabled FNIX and then killing you in the destruction of the facility. FNIX spoke out.
FNIX had grown fascinated in your abilities, maybe too fascinated, and decided to warn you about what the device actually did and what was about to happen. It gave you time to escape your own tomb. However, FNIX didn't mention this to it's soviet friends.
So the soviet belives that you are dead and they now hold the most complete research on the machine systems. so even if America and NATO gets control over Sweden, the soviet would still be in the lead.
This is how we now has this new machine that will arrive in landfall

You totally missed the mass soviet unit that has been totally wiped out in the main land. The largest city is littered in soviet troops.
There's also certain area's where civilians and soviets fought against one another. And eventually cooperated probably. This video was probably rushed. Which is fine.
