I’ve been saying it, Möller PP is the best handgun for backup. Sure it holds less rounds, but it is super accurate, low recoil, and as said, high comp. Damage.
On a side note: birdshot with the experimental shotgun can actually be pretty nasty if used correctly because all of the pellets do the concussive blast And since there's multiple pellets it'll do a ton of the little blasts however be careful because even on series X if you get too close to a target when you do this it can cause significant frame drop/lag/or even game crashes when you're playing with other players when solo it's not really an issue
What a shame that it is bugged in multiplayer. Its concussive blast would be such a power move against bigger machines while everybody else fires at it with more higher damage weapons.

Ive found that choosing fire rate and magazine size with a round i can easily get is more important in a lot of situations im in than choosing to use an fmj, hollow point, AP, etc. The n60 with a 4 crown extended magazine and red dot, and kpist with a red dot and extended magazine has been more than enough for me just because of the ammo capacity and fire rate. It makes killing hunters super easy

The stats are not generated by the game engine based on a weapon's game files like in other games. The stats are custom values set by the developers in a separate game file.
The experimental PVG90 is the best sniper rifle in the entire game cuz this thing can destroy almost any type of robot in the game including the new wolf and lyric machines
Cant deny, i was an AP guy all around til i tried the shock ammo types. Less then 2 full mags from 9mm pistol shock and the N9 puts down harvesters and tanks. I killed 5 tanks, 2 harvesters, 2 wolf, and several other bots with around 200 rounds.
This is awesome, thanks for putting it together, Tenebris! Don't forget, everyone: more powerful = fewer rounds = more efficient battles = more resources for other things. I've really been gravitating to exp.KVM59 in 7.62, 2x pvg90 (one exp, one 5-crown), 9mm semi-auto, exp. shotgun, and a 5-crown GRG for all-around destruction and base assaults. With how enemies drop ammo, most of what I shoot is loot…and what I don't shoot goes into base defenses or recycled. It's not the most fun loadout, but it's been really efficient lately.
I wish you did additional for unique ammo types, like experimental ammunition types as well as the very unique 9x93 FMJ and AP for the AT WAD. Especially since you reviewed the bow, I thought you were going to touch up on it in the misc section but unfortunately no. I'd love to read up in a possible reply though!
I wonder how much time did you spent on making this awesome recap for all the munitions of GZ. I still can't believe the Moller actually does more damage than the 5.56. I rlly hope 5.56 would get buffed one day since it gets overshadowed pretty often by 7.62.
Somebody somewhere made a comment about the 4 crown Moller with the extended magazine was a pretty ferocious beast, but I laughed and didn't try it. Maybe I will now.

Soooo I'm on my first play through of this game and I did a REALLY dumb thing that I deeply regret: I recycled the binoculars you get at the beginning of the game once the recycling station opened up for me, thinking all the binoculars I had in my inventory were the SAME, not realizing that sweet analysis dealio was attached to the first pair. HOW the heck can I get that back! That analysis stuff seems super helpful!!
Hey Chris, luckily that is actually the ability you unlocked in the tech tree and not an item attached to the binoculars. You can use any fresh pair and get that tech view back, as it is incredibly useful. You can find new binos most often in backpacks and suitcases is need be! Cheers and happy hunting :D
Would be interesting to know how experimental ammo compares to the other types. Like is explosive ammo objectively the best, or do AP/HP still do more in certain situations?
I love the Val on semi and the MP5 on full auto. I mainly go Vangaurd with the shoties for clean up and the N60/rocket launchers for bigger threats. The .50 cal just makes the game less fun for me personally.
I tend to use AP whenever possible. It seems to kill faster for me. Also I was wondering why Hunters blow up when I shoot them from the front. Now I know. Also why no love for the HP5? It's better than the COM.

Birdshot and buckshot shouldn’t damage anything with more than a few millimetres. That military 5.56 ammo does so little damage to light amour is nonsense as it has a steel core designed solely to penetrate light armour.
a few words of advice for you: don't apply real world logic to video games. game devs live in an alternate reality where absolutely everything makes 0 sense
Sounds like a good idea but I don't think the Swedish uses it. If NATO decide to send weapons. FN P90, FN FAL, FAMAS, SG550, MK23, (Add your 80s favorite weapons) Will be the good choice
So I’ve noticed with base storage, you have 7.76, .50 and bazooka rounds. So 9mm SMG users have to store the old fashioned way or using mules. What’s a comparable 7.76 assault rifle to the HP5?

Hey grandma sadly this is why i always advise backing up saves! best approach would be farming the reaper and base assault/defense.. Sorry there isn't someway to get it back, many people requested having items be non recyclable sadly hasn't happened yet :(
Yes depending on where from, i'd say bmg .44 and smg are all good, the .243 is a different case, it all depends on how you handle a meusser in close range for that one

Um, .44 cal has more stopping power in real life. 5.56 is a penatrating round for distance, even better than 7.62 in real ballistics testing at range. I figure, for a game they have done alright.
Playing on Skirmish, killed my first Tank and Harvester the other day, feel like I slammed at least 8 GRG rounds into the tank and a whole lot of other guns before it finally died, then again it was a rival level 3 prototype tank, is this normal?
Get the soviet weapon pack Trust me, the RPG-7 is the most cheating rocket launcher all time. Not only you can access it early but also you can craft it ammo too. Point that rocket to the thing you don't, squeeze the trigger and it will dematerialized for you

These weapons can be found on mid-end game area like North region and the Island on the East (DLC required Alpine Unrest) Military Crates, Russian Machines like Wolf & Lynx, dead Russian soldiers, FNIX class enemies, Rivals and RNGJesus on your side. However they quite random and sone you will find 5-star attachements to ammos. I haven't finish the game and I just got it 3 weeks ago. Instead of playing the stories, I went someone elses server (High Level players) to unlock Safe House around the map.
You need to aquire the blueprint. An use uranium to craft it at the ammo bench. You get uranium from base assaults/defense or control points that are scattered around the map

what irritates the crap out of me is the fact that the damage "bars" when viewing weapons in the inventory screen apparently don't matter AT ALL.

I don’t even know why 5.56 seems to be DLC rounds and very rare.
US military is swimming in 5.56. Definitely a standard round.

AP does better for me too. Feels stronger on impact and seems to kill faster. The HP5 is a little beast. :D

How are you seeing individual percentages for each component in binocular view? You have to take 2 points into that to see more info? I only have 1.

Luckily my first exp weapon is 50 cal and drop from some lvl 2 rival hunter and suddenly everything become easy.

Yes, the rivals and the difficulties will increase the enemies health overall
